1. TVXQ – Rising Sun

Yunho focused on the punching bag in front of him, taking a breath.

“You can do it, Yunho!” Changmin shouted from the side, wiping the sweat off his forehead. He’d just gone a good five minutes with exactly the same punching bag. Somehow the two of them had taken up boxing as a hobby.

A/N: What did I just write.

Changmin watched from the background as Yunho faced down the opponent in front of him. He swallowed nervously, knowing how competitive his hyung could get. Although he really got into the fight sometimes, Changmin never failed to enjoy watching him.

With the referees shout, Yunho crouched in his fighting stance. His dark eyes were focused on his opponent, not taking his gaze off him. When he lunged towards Yunho, Changmin could only watch as his hyung swiftly sidestepped and delivered a sharp kick to the opponents legs, knocking him to the ground. Yunho was always incredible at Taekwondo.

The crowd roared, but Changmin couldn’t hear them, focused only on Yunho circling the opponent in the ring. The opponent looked dishevelled, but Changmin knew better than to count him out. Yunho was up against the best of the best. Only time would tell if Yunho could win. Changmin silently hoped he would. It had been weeks of encouraging his hyung and making sure he stayed true to his goals and dreams. He wanted to be the best martial artist in the world. Changmin would be right behind him, cheering him on.

Yunho’s attacks were swift and true, his bangs plastered to his forehead with sweat. The crowd continued to shout their encouragement, some for Yunho, others for the opponent. Changmin ignored them all, doing everything he could to shout the loudest. When the fight was over, Changmin wanted Yunho to know he’d been there the entire time. If Yunho couldn’t hear him in the middle of that ring, he hadn’t been shouting loud enough.

Changmin cupped his hands to his mouth, taking a deep breath and preparing to give the best encouragement he could possibly give.

“YUNHO FIGHTING!!!!” Changmin shouted, grinning when Yunho delivered a sharp punch to the opponent.

2. BEAST - Breath

The worst feeling in the world was being alone, Yunho couldn’t help but think. No, scratch that, the worst was being without Changmin. The maknae was a breath of fresh air, always breathing life into every situation he walked into. Yunho loved him for it, though he would never actually say he loved Changmin for anything. That sort of thing was something he kept quiet.

Changmin stepped through the door of the dorm at that moment. He yanked off his hat, shaking the snow onto the front rug.

“Welcome home,” Yunho greeted, standing in the hallway door.

“Thanks,” Changmin greeted, shrugging off his jacket.

“How’s the weather?”

“Snowy,” Changmin grinned. “But nice,”

“I can tell, you’re covered in it,”

Changmin looked down at his jeans, seeing the melting snow caked to his knees. He only grinned, shrugging nonchalantly. “That’s what dry clothes are for,”

Yunho couldn’t help but crack a smile. Changmin always had a way of doing that.

The maknae disappeared into his bedroom, closing the door behind him. Yunho stood by the window, watching the snow drift by outside. He was still there when Changmin emerged, dressed in warm dry clothes. Yunho almost burst out laughing at the sight of the maknae in one of his ugly Christmas sweaters. He really had a lot of those.

“What?” Changmin asked, his eyes glinting.

“A little early for Christmas, don’t you think?”

“It’s never early for Christmas,”

Once again, Yunho grinned. Changmin never failed to make him smile. He was a breath of fresh air, regardless of how crappy his day was.

3. TEEN TOP – Rocking

“YUNHOOOOO”

Yunho jumped slightly, glancing towards the sound of the voice. He’d been hoping for a quiet day at the club. Who was he kidding...? If he wanted quiet, he should’ve gone to the library. It didn’t surprise him that someone was shouting at him. What did surprise him was that it had been Changmin shouting at him.

“Changmin...?” Yunho raised an eyebrow. “What are you doing here?”

“I heard you were here so I came to see what you were up to,” Changmin said with a shrug. He was tapping his foot to the music, as though he’d gotten some kind of bug in him, Yunho knew it was only a matter of time before the maknae spontaneously broke into dance.

“I’m just hanging around,” Yunho said honestly.

Changmin nodded.” Sounds boring,” He said.

Yunho glanced at the drink in front of him, tapping his finger on the table to the music. Changmin seemed to notice.

“Want to go dance?” He asked.

“Not really,” Yunho said.

Changmin pouted that adorable pout that always had Yunho on the edge of his seat. Changmin’s puppy dog eyes put whatever aegyo he decided to do to shame. God forbid he do both aegyo and the puppy dog—, he was doomed.

Changmin continued to pout, flashing his signature aegyo. “Please?”

Yunho couldn’t help but give in. He stood up and allowed himself to be dragged onto the dance floor. He fell easily into the beat beside Changmin, unable to stop a grin from popping onto his face.

4. TVXQ - Mirotic

Changmin didn’t want to admit it. He really didn’t. It was something he never wanted to say at all. He kept it secret. Nobody could no. Nobody, absolutely nobody.

“Are you okay, Changmin?”

Changmin swallowed, glancing at his hyung, a small smile on his face. “Y-Yeah! I’m fine!” No, no no no, he had to keep it a secret.

Yunho raised an eyebrow but nodded, accepting his answer. “You’ve been off your game today. Do you need a break?”

“No, let’s do the set again,” Changmin shifted his legs from side to side, loosening them up and trying to focus on dancing again.

“Alright, ready?”

Changmin nodded, and Yunho began counting out the steps. Once again, Changmin found himself fascinated by Yunho’s dancing. He always loved watching his hyung dance. There was something strangely magical about the way his body moved. Changmin knew he could never be that good, but it didn’t stop him from trying.

What was he thinking. No, he had to keep this quiet. Not even his brain was allowed to know this secret. It couldn’t happen.

“You missed your step, Changmin,” Yunho said.

“Sorry! I can do it,” Changmin insisted, running the set again. He was so focused on getting the steps right that he collided with Yunho, nearly knocking him down. Yunho’s hands gripped his shoulders, steadying him. Changmin felt his heart skip a beat for the briefest of seconds before he yanked himself away.

No, he thought. Nobody could know he had a crush on his hyung.

5. BEAST - Adrenaline

“I can’t do this,” Yunho’s voice trembled.

“Neither can I,” Changmin confessed. “But you know what?”

Yunho glanced over at the maknae, fear in his dark eyes.

“WE can do this,” Changmin grinned.

Yunho couldn’t help but laugh. “You think?”

“Yeah, I think,”

Yunho turned his gaze back to the water below, seeing the shining ocean far below him. Who had convinced him bungee jumping was a good idea? Oh yeah, that would’ve been him. He’d always wanted to try it and he’d invited Changmin along for the ride.

“Ready to jump?” Changmin asked.

“No,” Yunho admitted.

“We’ll go together, yeah?”

“Okay,” he was surprised Changmin could keep his head even through all this. There was enough space between the two of them that they could in fact jump together.

Changmin looked over towards his hyung, still smiling, though Yunho could tell he was just as scared as he was. “On three?” The maknae asked.

Yunho nodded. “Okay,”

“One,” Changmin stammered out, gripping the bars. “Two,” he crouched a little. Yunho forced himself to do the same. “THREE!”

Changmin hurled himself into space and Yunho froze, watching the maknae plummet towards the water. Yunho stared for a moment before squeezing his eyes shut.

“FOUR!” Yunho shouted to himself, then realized it was an unlucky number and shouted five instead, throwing himself off the ledge and plummeting towards the water. He screamed the whole way down, laughing when he bounced beside Changmin.

6. TVXQ – Catch Me

Performing was Changmin’s favourite part of working with TVXQ. Being up on stage, singing the songs to lyrics he and Yunho had perfected together...there was something incredibly worth it about that. He could never describe what it was.

But the worst part was when they sang Catch Me. Yunho always had a way of staring straight into his soul when that happened, especially at the parts when they faced each other. Changmin tried to stop feeling uncomfortable, convincing himself the lyrics to the song were about a girl, not about...anyone else. He never dared to think Yunho was singing to him half the time. He refused to believe it.

Yunho reached for him at the chorus as Changmin lied on the floor. Changmin swallowed at the sight of those dark eyes staring into his soul. He was glad when he got to roll over and the backup dancers lifted him up off the ground so he could sing his part. This was so much easier. Having Yunho touch his arm later was nerve-wracking, but he ignored it. He continued dancing, even through the wild emotions flooding through him.

Yunho was doing it again, Changmin realized. He saw the grin appear on his face, making Changmin blush slightly. He instead forced himself to belt out his high note, focusing on keeping it steady, disappearing behind the backup dancers and running a hand down his face. Gods help him, he thought to himself. He laughed to himself, nearly missing his next dance steps.

The dance was coming to a close now, and Changmin forced himself to relax and own every second of the piece. He stared right back at Yunho every chance he got, gritting his teeth. He didn’t care anymore. He had to enjoy this song.

“Catch me, Catch me, Catch me girl tonight, before I leave,” Changmin sang.

Oh.

Oh. Okay then.

Changmin would’ve given anything to evaporate on the spot.

7. BEAST – Beautiful Night

Changmin rarely got to sit quietly with Yunho. They were almost always practicing or dancing or something. They could never relax. He was always glad when he could.

Yunho was sprawled on the grass, staring up at the twinkling stars above their heads. Changmin was laying nearby, the top of his head touching Yunho’s.

“Soooo...meteor shower?” Changmin asked expectantly.

“Be patient,” Yunho muttered, staring up at the sky.

Changmin rolled over, propping himself up on his forearms and pouting at his hyung. “We’ve been here for almost an hour, nothing happened,”

“Shut up and lie down,” Yunho glowered up at him.

Changmin flopped back down, squishing his head back up against Yunho’s. The older didn’t complain, merely keeping his eyes focused on the sky.

“Okay I lied,” Yunho confessed.

“What...?” Changmin pouted.

“Maybe I just wanted to come out and see the stars and tempting you with a meteor shower was the only way I could do that,”

“Hyung, you...whyyy,”

“Sorry,”

Changmin buzzed his lips, then shrugged. “Oh well. This is still nice,”

“It is,” Yunho agreed.

Changmin couldn’t help but smile, moving his head from side to side, messing up Yunho’s hair. “That’s for lying to me,”

8. BIGBANG – Fantastic Baby

“What...”

Changmin’s grin was priceless.

“What....”

“Yunho, you...hehehehe,”

“Changmin, Don’t laugh,”

“I...you’re so pretty!”

Yunho groaned loudly, yanking his shirt up to cover his face. Changmin laughed harder, the sound of his body hitting the floor more apparent than his own laugh. Yunho poked his head back out, trying to find out what was so funny and realized someone had drawn a face on his abdomen. His belly button was the mouth.

“You did this, didn’t you?” Yunho growled.

Changmin only laughed harder.

“I swear to god, Changmin,”

“You can’t swear to god, he doesn’t like swearing-hehehehehe!!!!!”

Yunho ran a hand down his face, smearing the makeup Changmin had kindly planted there. He stared at the eyeliner coating his fingertips. “This better come off,”

“I’ll help if it doesn’t,” Changmin laughed, sitting up at last, that grin still plastered to his face.

Yunho watched him for a moment, then cracked a smile. He thought to himself that he’d let Changmin makeup his face as much as he wanted if it brought out such a brilliantly bright smile. The sight was rather warm.

“Sorry sorry, here, I’ll get the makeup remover,” Changmin laughed, getting off the floor. He dragged Yunho into the bathroom, still grinning from ear to ear.

9. VIXX – Voodoo Doll

Changmin had a nightmare problem. Only Yunho knew that. On many nights, Changmin would plow into his bedroom and hug his hyung tightly after whatever horror he’d witnessed in his sleep. Yunho never had a problem, wrapping an arm around him in return and falling back asleep when Changmin did. In the morning, they spoke nothing of it. It had become a habit ever since they moved in together.

The first time Changmin had a nightmare, Yunho had been right there after hearing his scream. He’d held the maknae close until he finally slept again. It was embarrassing, but with no cameras or prying eyes around, he decided he didn’t care. As long as it didn’t get out, he was perfectly okay with hugging Changmin until he calmed down enough to sleep again. The maknae always seemed to sleep better too which worried him a little. He hoped the maknae wasn’t taking much from it.

“Hyung....?”

Yunho lifted his head off his pillow, staring sleepily at Changmin. The maknae was clutching his pillow and blanket, his brow furrowed as he stared at Yunho. With a sigh, the older held out his arm, inviting him over. Changmin immediately trotted to his side and laid his pillow down, flopping beside him. He nuzzled up to Yunho and closed his eyes, sighing slightly.

“Thanks...for always doing this,” Changmin mumbled. “I know it’s weird...”

“It’s okay, just sleep,” Yunho told him.

“Thank you,” Changmin sighed, closing his eyes as well.

“You’re welcome,”

10. TVXQ – Break Out!

Changmin and Yunho had a hobby. It was called “Sneaking out of SM During Practice”. They had it down to a fine art. When they were supposed to be practicing, the two of them would take back hallways, snickering under their breath as they made their merry way out of the building.

Today, it was going to be eventful. Yunho had brought paintballs to throw at the cameras.

Changmin snickered as Yunho hurled the ball at the camera in the practice room, splattering neon pink paint all over it.

“Go! Go!” Yunho laughed, shoving Changmin towards the door. Changmin pushed his way out and ran down the hallway, jumping into a broom cupboard, Yunho smooshing in after him. They stuffed their fingers in their mouths as they listened to the frantic sounds of their agents trying to figure out where the hell they went.

Yunho left the broom closet first, belting down the hall and followed closely by Changmin. They slid down the stairs and pounded out the back entrance, laughing as the leapt over the bush leading to the great beyond.

Yes breaking out of SM was more fun than anything. They slapped a high five and pulled their hoods up, determined to enjoy the rest of their day off. They’d already decided on ice cream, a karaoke bar, and large amounts of food. Screw SM, and screw their diet, they thought.

A/N: Well, to be perfectly honest I really enjoyed that. It was mentally stimulating and intense at the same time. I listen to these songs on a regular basis, so I mainly just started writing the first thing that came to my mind and then did everything I could to wrap it up as quick as I could when I was in the last minute or so of the song lol.

Please forgive the bad grammar. The whole point was to not edit it XDD I only edited the spelling, that’s it. If it was spelled right, I didn’t touch it, though in more than one case I had an overwhelming desire to fix the sentences.

I find it horribly convenient that most of the songs ended up being TVXQ songs. The other half were BEAST songs. Shows the priorities on my iPod, huh?
