Yoo Se Yoon: Min Yong-sshi opened a Youtube account where she updated her videos about her dances and vocal training. Can you tell me when did you create this account?

Yoo Se Yoon: Anyways, Boyfriend and Seasons had concepts about vampires. Boyfriend had in their single Witch while Seasons had one in Hunt Your Love.

 

Mir: But that reminds me the group 4Minutes also had a vampire concept in their single Volume Up, did you the idea from them?

 

Min Yong: Actually, it was my idea about the vampire concept. Because I'm a fan of Vampire Diaries so love the way the look so I thought it will be a good idea since it matches with the lyrics of the song.

 

Jang Dong Min: So the idea of the vampires where from the series, not from 4Minutes.

 

Min Yong: Ne. I won't steal ideas from others at all. 

 

Ka Eun: Min Yong has a creative side. She had the idea of the energetic and cute concept for our debut, and she also suggest for the mature and fresh concept for the comeback.

 

Defconn: So that means, Min Yong is playing a big role in the comebacks.

 

Lizzy: If we success in the comebacks, that's all because of her.

 

Boyfriend: (nods)

 

Mir: How about Boyfriend? Where did you get those kind of concepts?

 

Donghyun: Since our debut, we had like a cute concept aside from the other boybands. But then we decided to change the concept for something for masculine and fresh. For example, for the comeback of Obssession, we had an idea of a fairy tale like Peter Pan. Even though it's from a story of children, it also shows a charismatic sides of us.

 

Mir: But in the case of Witch, you had a concept that was similar to BigBang and VIXX.

 

Jeong Min: Since we are following the mistical and fantasy concepts, that was a part of it. We didn't mean to copy them. We just look for some different concepts like magical and unreal like the fairy tales.

 

Jang Dong Min: How about in MBLAQ?

 

Mir: In MBLAQ, we havd like a latin concept in our debut, then we changed into a y one. But for example in It's War, we wanted a new concept that anything can follow. It was from a hearbroken about two lovers who fights for the same girl and I think that was like a little bit mature and elegant.

 

Jang Dong Min: So you guys don't copy the concepts from other groups?

 

Mir: (nervous) Of course not!

 

Jang Dong Min: (patting Defconn's arm) Hey! Look at them. They will use this concept for their comeback, let's use it too.

 

Seasons+Boyfriend: (laughs)

 

Yoo Se Yoon: Ok, now let's change the topic. During this days, idols starts dating and finding the love of their lifes.

 

Mir: Yeah, there are a lot this days.

 

Yoo Se Yoon: How about you girls? Did you experience their first love or they are on a relationship now?

 

Min Yong: Since I'm married, I can say that I'm not dating anyone yet. But I can say that I experienced my first love before.

 

Jang Dong Min: Oh yeah? When did you experience your first love?

 

Min Yong: When I was a trainee at the age of 14. We were friends when I arrived for the first time at that company and I had some problems with the language since I lived in a latinamerican country.

 

Mir: Where did you live? 

 

Min Yong: In Chile.

 

Defconn: Really? For how long?

 

Min Yong: For seven years, then I moved to the USA for 6 months and then I moved to Korea to enrolled the training to be a singer.

 

Mir: So you went through many companies then.

 

Min Yong: Ne

 

Yoo Se Yoon: In what companies did you go?

 

Min Yong: First I supposed to firmed a contract in FNC Entertainment since I was good in the instrumental and I was suppose to be in AOA but then I got interest in dancing so I just stayed in FNC for 2 weeks and then moved to SM Entertainment. Then I had an audition, I passed three times until I failed in the semi finals, so I moved to JYP and continue with my training. Then JYP offered me a place in Cube Entertainment so I moved at there and that's where I found my first love. After 3 months I moved to A Cube Entertainment and I trained to be in A Pink but then they said that only 7 people could be in the group and we were 10 in that time. I got eliminated in the second round so I just continue my training and then A Pink debuted with 7 members. Then I moved back to Cube and then I prepared for my solist debut, but I wasn't sure was that I wasn't ready because my vocals still weren't as perfect as everyone think. After the debut, I just promoted for 2 weeks only then I continue with some activities in the company. Then I got some healthy problems because my manager told that I should do diet because kpop girl idols have nice body, and if I wanted to success, I had to lose some weights.

 

Defconn: What was your original weight?

 

Min Yong: I'm 1.57 cm, so in that time I weigh 47 kg.

 

MCs: Eyyy~

 

Mir: That's not bad for your height.

 

Min Yong: Yeah, but my manager wanted me at least to weigh 40 kg. So during a month, I just ate a leaf of lettuce, some vitamins to have energy and a lot of water and I did exercise everyday from 7.00 am to 13.00 pm then an hour break and then 14.00pm to 20.00 pm.

 

Yoo Se Yoon: So that means 12 hours in total!

 

Boyfriend: (shock) Wow

 

Defconn: And what was your weight after your diet routine?

 

Min Yong: I lost 15 kg in a month, so it will be 32 kg.

 

MCs: UUhh...

 

Mir: That's not good, even for your age.

 

Jang Dong Min: And how old were you when you start your diet routine?

 

Min Yong: I was 16. The problem was that I gain weight easily I must did the diet routine. When I got the results of my weight, my manager told me that it wasn't enough so he said that I should eat anything and just drink the water and the vitamins.

 

Defconn: Aigooooo~ How did you survived with that? If I were you, I will just give up.

 

Min Yong: But I wanted to become a renovated singer with a new look so I did it. But one day, I was to tired to continue with the exercise that I went to the practice room to dance a little since that pulls my stress out, but then I felt my head burning and my vision got blurry. The only thing I really is that I passed out in the practice room and I was taken to the hospital. I remember that since I live with Suzy unnie, she told me that I was in "coma" for at least 6 days. The doctor checked me and said that I was in risk to die because I had a pre-anorexia. In that time, I was weighing 27 kg. 

 

Jang Dong Min: Oh my god. That is really strong.

 

Min Yong: So that's why I quit that company and I was retired of the entertainment for a year until get better from the pre-anorexia. During that time, I practice my vocals in private. I worked I  TOP Media for just 3 months to improve my voice and then I finally firmed with Pledis and now I became what I wanted to be.

 

Defconn: You know, Min Yong. I really admire you, because you went through a hard, leaving your parents behind to reach your dreams as a singer. Going through a bad diet routine that could cost your life but you didn't give up to reach your dream. So I really admire you. You're a really strong girl and I hope that you can success in the future.

 

Min Yong: Thank you (bows)

 

Seasons+Boyfriend+MCs: (applause)

 

Yoo Young: Actually, when Min Yong enjoyed Pledis, I saw that she was really unhealthy in the way that she was really thin. So when I see her, I really want to take care of her. When I talked to her, we became friends right away, and since then I didn't want to let her go because something might happen to her. For me, I consider her as my little sister and I think is my responsability to take care of her. Even if we are from different companies, I will always support her, in the good and the bad times......

 

Min Yong listens carefully to her unnie when tears starts to fall down in her cheeks.

 

Yoo Young: Why are you crying?~ (She takes Min Yong's hand to comfort her)

 

Min Yong: Oh.. I never thought you will say such as kind words to me (sniffles and wipes her tears away)

 

Ka Eun: I had that feeling too. When I saw Min Yong for the first time in the company, the first thing I wanted to do was to become friends with her. Because when we get closer I can take care of her and check if she's okay. Even though we are busy with our schedules, I always thing about her, about how she is feeling today, if she's eating well. It's like she's part from my family now.

 

With Ka Eun's sincere words, more tears falls from Min Yong's eyes

 

Min Yong: (sniffles and looks down) Ah jjinja (covers her eyes with her hands) I'm sorry, I really didn't want to cry. (sobs)

 

Yoo Young approaches to her and back hug her and pat her arms as a big sister

 

Lizzy: I just want to say, that I feel sorry that I couldn't take care of you when you need it. I'm the oldest of the group, but I haven't ones ask you if you were okay or how were you feeling. I think I'm failing as a leader and I feel sorry forward the members too. I just want them to know that I really care about them and I want them to keep going well and success in everything, group or not. 

 

Donghyun: We really don't talk about this in public, but I also feel what Lizzy sunbae says. I'm the leader and also the oldest of the group. I try my best to keep my members up and check if they are okay or not, but sometimes I feel that I'm failing in that part so I don't know what the members will about this but I really care about them and I want to be a good leader so I will work hard to be an example for them and I hope Seasons keep going as a group and be together until the end, even if they are separate or not.

 

Yoo Se Yoon: Min Yong-sshi, any words to your unnies?

 

Min Yong: (sniffles) Ah... (tries to keep a smile) I want to say that I'm thankful to be part of this group and be with such as nice people. I really want to say thank you to the unnies for taking care of me and thinking about me. I will do the same... (wipes her tears away) and I hope we can last long, even if you are in the group or not. (sniffles) 

 

Yoo Se Yoon: Well, we are done with the program. I want to say thank you to both of the group to come to the program. And I want to tell to Min Yong-sshi that you must be strong and don't give up. Min Yong: It was sad. It was really sad seeing Ka Eun unnie crying like this. It broke my heart into pieces. It was like she was taking the fault when she didn't do anything wrong. I want to let her know that I'm fine, that she doesn't have to worry about me. Same goes to Yoo Young unnie and Lizzy unnie. I want them to be happy, and think that now I'm healthy and without problems. I also want to help them and make sure that they will success in the future. (nods)

 

Lizzy: I felt angry with myself. Maybe because it's the first time being a leader since in After School and Orange Caramel I'm the maknae. But now that I'm the oldest of the group, I should now take care of the detailes and watch the members too. I just hope that everything goes well to them and the group as well.

 

Ka Eun: I really want them to be safe. Since the moment we debut as Seasons, I didn't want any of the members get hurt physically and emotionally by the fans, the schedules and their problems. Since I'm the second older, it's my responsability to take care of them in case Lizzy unnie isn't able to be with us, because she is also in Orange Caramel so is triple work for her to keep an eye on us. I just want the members feel happy of what they are doing and don't feel frustrated. 

 

Yoo Young: Mm.... Maybe they will be some difficulties in the future, but that doesn't mean we are going to feel down about it. Weve been together for two amazing years and we made good memories through those years. I hope we can last long and be friends until the end. I will support each of Hello Venus members and Seasons members too no matter what. (smiles)
