When it comes to his fondness towards Donghae, Kyuhyun never fails to express it.

 

From tv shows, interviews, talkshows, even on concerts, as much as possible he would openly express his likeness to his hyung. He'll never get tired of saying it because he wants the whole world to know who he holds dearly to his heart.

 

 

"I like Donghae hyung" He says on one particularly interview and looks toward his hyung who is smiling shyly.

 

He knows that Donghae knows it already, but he wants him to know that he really is serious and meant every word that he says.

 

"Why do you always love to announce that, Kyu?" His co-members often ask him.

 

He just nonchalantly say "Because that's true and that's what I feel."

And shrugs his shoulder. 

 

But Donghae. Donghae never asks him about it. Never even acknowledged it whenever Kyuhyun talks about it. He'll just look at his dongsaeng then smiles shyly then look away. 

 

One time when he went to the kitchen to make something to eat, he saw Donghae pouring a glass of water to himself.

 

"Oh. Hi Kyuhyunnie." Donghae greets him as soon as he saw him entering the kichen then proceeds on drinking his water.

 

"Hae hyung." He calls to him and Donghae just hums in response. Kyuhyun waits until his hyung's eyes were on him before speaking.

"You know that I like you, right?" 

 

The older man, surprised, just smiles at him then place the glass on the sink, goes closer to Kyuhyun and ruffles his hair then went out of the kitchen. 

 

Kyuhyun just stood there for a few minutes, processing what had just happened then shakes his head and proceed on making something to eat. Mumbling nonsensical to himself and thinking his hyung isn't taking him seriously.

"If I am a girl, I would definitely date Donghae!" Kyuhyun courageously said when the interviewer asked him who among the members would he choose to date if he had been a girl.

 

He chance a glance at Donghae who sits beside him and saw him laughing shyly at his statement. Kyuhyun couldn't help but smile at his adorable hyung. The rest of the members weren't the least bit of surprise with his proclamation but were casting him amused glances.

 

Kyuhyun couldn't help but blush but he stood his ground to let Donghae know that he was dead serious.

 

 

After the interview, Kyuhyun was really giddy to see if he had succeeded at making his Donghae hyung finally believe him. 

 

So as they left the studio and was starting to head to the vans towars their next schedule, Kyuhyun hurriedly approach his hyung.

 

"Donghae hyung, wait up! " He jogged towards Donghae as he saw him heading to the van.

 

Donghae looked over his shoulder and smiled at Kyuhyun.

 

"Hyung about earlier during the interview..." Kyuhyun started, smiling the whole time, but Donghae cut him off.

 

"Ah Kyuhyunnie. You really are so playful. You and your cute antiques!" Donghae laughed at him, ruffled his hair then headed to the van as their manager called them both to hurry up.

 

Kyuhyun's smile dropped. He frowned.

 

Sometimes. Sometimes he's starting to believe Donghae is really stupid.

Kyuhyun flopped down, face first, on the bed as soon as he reached his room after a whole day of schedule.

 

He was tired. But he was damn frustrated.

 

For weeks, he was trying all possible ways to get Donghae believe him and that he wasn't kidding about his feelings at all. He tried everything he could possibly think of. From subtle ways to directly to the point. But nothing seems to work.

 

He was starting to give up and lose hope. He never thought revealing one's feelings to a person like Donghae would be such a hard work.

 

A knock on his door broke his thoughts. Whoever was at the door hadn't waited for his response and proceeded to open the door and entered his room.

 

Kyuhyun was too tired to turn around and find out who it was. He had a full day of schedule today with not much break and was really dead tired. All those plus his frustration regarding his deflating chance at the love of his life was really draining him out.

 

"Kyuhyunnie."

 

Kyuhyun shivers. That voice that he could recognize anywhere, that could turn his knees into jelly just from the sound of it. The voice he loves so much the way he loves its owner but the least he wants to hear right now.

 

He wasn't ready to deal with this right now. He just doesn't have the energy to face his hyung and face another indirect rejection. Well maybe this really was worse than having a rejection. At least being rejected meant his feelings was being acknowledged.

 

He felt the bed dipped as Donghae sat at the edge of his bed.

 

"Kyu." He heard Donghae calling his name again.

 

Kyuhyun just humm in question, wondering what his hyung had wanted.

 

 

"Hey.Turn around. I want to talk to you about something, Kyu." Donghae said softly to him.

 

"Hyung, can we talk about this some other time? I'm dead tired right now. My body is aching all over." Kyuhyun grunted. He really just wanted to sleep and rest right now.

 

Kyuhyun felt Donghae's hand softly on his shoulder.

 

"You sure? I can..." Donghae asks as Kyuhyun felt that hand run towards his and gave it a firm squeeze. "help you relax, if you want."

 

Kyuhyun stiffened before willing himself to turn around and look at his hyung eyes wide. He searched Donghae's face and a seductive look is written on it.

 

His hyung can't be playing with him. If that lustful look is anything to go by.

 

Kyuhyun swallowed.

"But.. I..I thought.. What are you.."

 

Donghae smiled at the younger and Kyuhyun could see the amusement in his hyung's eyes. Then it hit him.

 

Maybe he was the stupid one all along.

"I thought you were tired? We could continue this some other time like you said." Donghae teased from his position above the younger one, straddling him.

 

"Don't you. ing. Dare!" Kyuhyun growled as he glared at the other. "You got me frustrated so long already I'm gonna kick your for real if you leave!" 

 

Donghae laughed but that soon faded as Kyuhyun pulled the other by the neck and brought his lips towards his demandingly, and Donghae was more than happy to oblige.

 

Kyuhyun smiles through their lips.

 

All thoughts of rest and sleep gone.
