Misunderstood Love

Squishy helper of Cupid >.O

A month since they got back together:
"Awww look at our Kai being all lovey dovey again." I ignored Baekhyun's baby voice. I learned to ignore all of Kai's friends teasing. The first couple of times I had been embarrassed but I soon learned to ignore them. It was true Kai was being lovey dovey but I didn't mind. I watched as Kai stopped cooing loving words in my ear and turned a glare towards Baekhyun. I had to hide a small smile that was beginning to form when I turned to find Xiumin trying to do the same. I couldn't help but laugh when Baekhyun looked at Kai with an innocent expression before turning to Chanyeol and mimicking what Kai had done. As I looked back at Xiumin I saw jealousy in his eyes. 'Why? Could it be because he hasn't really hung out with Luhan?' I bit my bottom lip. I felt bad for him, he had to sit with everyone and their boyfriends while he couldn't even spend any time with his. 'Stupid Luhan.' My attention was brought back when the bell rang, ending the lunch period. Kai grasped my tray and walked over to the trash, I took the time to look over at Xiumin. I found he was already almost out of the cafeteria. I quickly ran after him, needing to talk to him.
"Xiumin!" I quickly grasped his arm. I smiled, "Hey, you didn't..." I stopped when I saw Xiumin had tears in his eyes. I tilted my head, "X...Xiumin what's wrong?" He quickly flashed me a smile.
"Ah, nothing. I just haven't been myself lately. Really it's nothing, I'm fine."
"X...Xiumin?" He took a deep breath before he turned to face me.
"Would you like to stay the night tonight. I'd like your company." I watched as he bit his bottom lip before he looked down at his shoes.
"Of course. We'll do all kinds of things. I want you to cheer up." I flashed him a smile. He looked up at me before smiling. I had looped my arm through Xiumin's before my hand was grasped and we were being pulled towards our class.

"Hi DO." I smiled as Chen turned in his seat.
"Hey Chen." I moved my book out of the way before Chen laid his head onto my desk. I looked up to see Kai talking with Xiumin.
"Relieved to have some personal space?" I looked down at Chen.
"Hmm, no and yes. I don't mind really if he's right next to me."
"Mmmm that reminds me of my laylay." Chen huffed. I smiled down at him before I flicked him in the forehead.
"Are you moping around Jongdae?" He puffed out his bottom lip.
"No." I raised an eyebrow at him. "Yes, laylay refuses to talk to me. I don't know what I did though."
"Oh, tsk tsk Jongdae, that's very troublesome, huh?" Chen glared up at me.
"It's is. I don't want him to be mad at me anymore."
"Have you tried asking him?"
"He won't talk to me."
"Okay have you had any thoughts as to why he's ignoring you?" Chen actually seemed to be thinking about it. 'Well I mean it is his laylay.'
"W...well I may have made him jealous." I raised a questioning eyebrow at him.
"May? And how?" I tapped my pencil against my notebook. He puffed out his lip.
"I... Well you see we had went out to eat and the waitress lady was flirting really bad with me and I... I just wanted to get a rise out of him. He never really shows how he's feeling and I just wanted him to show them but it backfired and lay was calm and he said he didn't want to talk to me until he felt like it." Chen looked like he was about to cry.
"Have you told him this?" He glared at me.
"He does everything to avoid me." I patted Chen's shoulder. Before I flashed him a serious expression.
"Get him to where the only thing he can do is listen to you. Get him into a corner." Chen looked at me before he smiled.
"That's a great idea. I can get him into a corner."
"No!" I said this a little too loud and got the attention from the surrounding students. I laughed awkwardly before I looked back at Chen. "I don't mean a literal corner. I mean just to where it's the two of you." I watched as Chen's face was flushed with a light pink color.
"I...I knew that." I shook my head.

"Are you sure Kai's not going to be upset that he can't see you?" I smiled over at a worried Xiumin.
"It's fine. I already explained to him. Besides he said he needed to get a few things done." Xiumin still looked a little worried but smiled as we walked towards Nana's candy shop.
"Hello, Kyungsoo."
"Hi Nana." I bowed my head as we entered the store.
"Nana Is it alright if DO stays the night tonight?" I already knew the answer.
"Hmm.... Of course. Kyungsoo is always welcomed." I smiled at Nana.
"Thank you. Please take care of me."
"Minseok, gramps has a snack for you. Of course he'll double it when he sees Kyungsoo." We smiled at her before going towards gramps.

"D...DO, don't you think that's a lot of snacks?" I looked up at him before I smiled.
"Nope. We need to go pick out your favorite movies."
"Wh... Why don't we get things you like?" I pursed my lips together before I puffed out my bottom lip.
"We are getting what I like. We share about the same taste." He smiled at me shyly.
"Still isn't this a lot?" I looked down at the basket full of junk food and drinks. I quickly flashed him a smile.
"Nope. Now what else could we snack on?" I watched as Xiumin shook his head. He smiled at me before he grabbed some chips and threw it in the basket. Soon we left to go get our movies.
After we had watched about three movies and was working on the fourth I watched as Xiumin stared intently at the movie. We were on the part where the girl was telling the guy, they couldn't be together because they were from two different worlds. I watched Xiumin's expression turn to one of anguish. When he noticed me staring he smiled and motioned for me to watch the movie. I felt my face redden, I had been caught red handed staring at Xiumin. I grabbed a handful of popcorn and tried to focus on the movie.
"I'm going to go grab a drink from the convenience store down the street." I looked down at Xiumin as I stood up. Xiumin looked at me with confusion.
"Why don't you just get something from the coffee shop. I'm sure gramps won't mind making you something. I would but I haven't been taught yet, still a waiter." I smiled.
"Nope, I don't want to bother gramps with that. I'm perfectly healthy to go and buy a drink."
"Well I can go..."
"No, you stay here and pick a movie. Would you like something to drink?"
"But..."
"No, buts." I looked at him with a playful yet serious expression. Xiumin raised an eyebrow at me.
"Umm what I usually get." I smiled at him before I turned and began walking out of the room. 'Hehe I shall surprise him with his favorite ice cream too!' I thought this as I quietly exited the back door.
I found myself hiding behind one of the shelves at the store. I slowly peeked over and found my anger begin to boil. Two isles over, Luhan stood smiling with Sehun. Before I could even blink Sehun had grasped Luhan's waist and brought him closer. I watched as Luhan laughed and brought his hands to rest on Sehun's shoulder. The two leaned in closer and kissed each other. An image of Xiumin flashed in my mind and my anger tipped over the edge. I found myself walking over to the two. I tapped Luhan on his shoulder. Luhan and Sehun both flashed a confused expression before I punched Luhan as hard as I could in the face, more than likely making him bleed.
"What the hell DO?" I turned to Sehun who was leaning towards Luhan but I grasped his shirt. I found myself raising my fist again and releasing it, I punched Sehun with the last of my strength. Both were holding where I had punched, a shocked expression plastered on their faces.
"What was that for?" I narrowed my gaze at both guys.
"Cheating on Xiumin and Suho. That's awful! Stay away from both of them." I hissed at before I quickly turned and found what I had came there for and paid. I quickly walked back to Xiumin. My anger dissipated when I was greeted by a gummy tooth smile from Xiumin.

"DO! What took you so long? Did you find everything okay?" 'How could someone cheat on someone whose so kind?' I quickly shook my head and smiled.
"Ah, yes. Th... The store owner started a conversation with me. But I got you a surprise."
"What is it?" Xiumin looked at me, curiosity filled eyes.
"Your favorite icecream!" I smiled as I showed him the bag with the ice cream. His eyes widened. His reaction was different.
"Omo... DO what happened to your hand? It looks swollen and bruised." My eyes widened as I heard him say this.
"Oh... Oh this... I accidentally tripped and holding the bags I kinda of used it to stop myself from falling." 'Yeah I know, a very bad lie but I couldn't tell him I got it from hitting his cheating boyfriend and his boyfriend.' Xiumin just looked at me a little worried.
"Let's go put some ice onto this." I shook my head but puffed out my bottom lip.
"We'll still eat the ice cream right." Xiumin's expression changed and he once again flashed me a gummy smile.
"Yes. We will. Seriously think about your wounds first." I laughed as he brought me to the kitchen.

"So what do you want to do today?" I looked at Xiumin while we were eating breakfast.
"Aren't you tired of me?" I smiled at him.
"Nope. How can I get tired of a chubby cheeked guy like you?" I had leaned over the table pinched his cheeks as I said this. I smiled at him. "So what do you want to do today?" Xiumin seemed to be thinking about it.
"Hmm... I want to go to a small amusement park in the next town over." I raised an eyebrow.
"Really?" He looked down at his hands.
"O...or we can just umm go... Go to the park."
"Ya! Don't change your mind on something you want to actually do." I lightly smacked his arm.
"I want to go to the amusement park too." I smiled at him. "We'll go as soon as were done eating. And stop by my house so I can change." Xiumin shook his head in agreement.
"Mom! I'm home!" I yelled this even though I knew she wasn't going to answer. I looked back at Xiumin. He followed in behind me. We slowly walked up to my bedroom. I motioned for Xiumin to go ahead while I checked on my mom. I peeked into her work room and found her fast asleep, sitting in her computer chair. Her head lay in front of the still computer screen. I shook my head as I slowly walked over to her. I turned off the monitor and told my mom to get to her feet so she can go sleep in her bed. After getting her to her room I walked back to mine.
"Is everything alright?" I turned to Xiumin and shook my head yes.
"I'll be right out. Umm you can watch tv, read, or I have my computer you can play on." Xiumin smiled and shook his head in understanding.

"Wow! This place is huge!" I grasped Xiumin's arm. "What should we do first, after all we got all day passes that give us access to all the rides."
"Umm... The roller-coasters."
"Which one?" Xiumin lifted his hand and pointed, I followed where he motioned and found my eyes widening. "Unless it's t..." I turned my gaze to Xiumin and broke into a grin.
"Let's go!" I quickly began dragging him. As we were waiting in line my phone began to ring. "Ah, excuse me for a second." I grabbed out my phone and answered it. With the surrounding people and screams I could barely hear the other person on the line.
"D.... It's.... Ka... A.... Okay?"
"Hello? Kai?"
"Wh... Are.... Breaking...."
"Kai, I'm sorry but I can't understand you. I'm hanging out with Xiumin at the amusement park. I'll call you when I can."
"Wha.... DO?"
"Bye!" I yelled before I hung up.
"Is everything okay?"
"Yes, but when we get back into town remind me to call Kai." Xiumin smiled at me, yet I couldn't help but remember last night. 'I should have kicked his more.'

"Wow! That was fun!" I smiled at Xiumin. He looked like the old Xiumin I had befriended, the one I had thought I had wanted to protect.
"Yeah? Well then it's time to eat. It's almost dinner time." I laughed as Xiumin looked at his watch with wide eyes.
"It is!" We had just gotten off the bus when Xiumin grasped my arm and began pulling me towards a random restaurant.
"Where are we going?"
"It's a surprise!" Xiumin looked back at me and winked. I couldn't help but chuckle at the mischievous tone Xiumin used as he said this.
"This place is so colorful with all the different flowers." The restaurant Xiumin had dragged me into looked old and run down on the outside but on the inside it looked beautiful. It had me in awe as I looked around it.
"Not many people come here because of the outside but enough come in to keep it in business." Xiumin explained to me as we were seated. "But it's really pretty."
"People shouldn't judge a book by its cover." I looked over as I heard Xiumin chuckle.
"Mmmm... Yes they shouldn't." Xiumin began looking through the menu. "What would you like? My treat."
"The same as you." I was too infatuated with my surroundings to actually look through the menu.
"Hmm... Are you sure?" I tore my gaze away and brought it to Xiumin.
"Yes." Xiumin chuckled but didn't argue. I turned my attention back but froze when I saw Luhan and Sehun sitting a couple of tables away from us. I gritted my teeth as I saw them. I was thankful that Xiumin was busy with ordering the food that he wouldn't be able to see them.
"What are you looking at?" My attention shot to Xiumin catching him turning In his seat to see what I was looking at. I quickly shot my hand out and grabbed Xiumin's shirt.
"Ah, it's nothing." I laughed nervously, earning a curious stare from Xiumin.
"Are you feeling okay?"
"Yeah, never better." Before Xiumin could say anymore my phone began to ring. "Aish, excuse me." I quickly answered it, watching to make sure Xiumin wouldn't spot Luhan. "Hello?"
"DO! I've been trying to get a hold of you all day. Is everything alright?"
"Hm... Ye...yeah everything's alright. I've just been. No! Stop!" I grasped Xiumin's shirt again.
"What?" Both Xiumin and Kai said at the same time.
"Um, no...nothing. Sorry Kai... Umm I'll call you later. I'm having dinner with Xiumin right now. Bye!" I quickly hung up my phone and turned back to Xiumin. I froze as I found Xiumin had turned his head while I was occupied with hanging up my phone. "X...Xiumin?" Before I could say anything Xiumin had stood up and walked over to Luhan and Sehun. I quickly shot up and walked after Xiumin. I stopped in my tracks as I heard what Xiumin was saying.
"Omo... Sehun, Luhan what happened?" I met Luhan's gaze.
"Your friend over there." Xiumin turned to me. A confused and curious expression plastered on his face.
"DO? What did you do?" I nervously ran my fingers through my hair.
"Um... Well..."
"He punched us at the convenience store last night." I glared at Sehun.
"Why?" I bit my lip.
"Because he caught us." I tilted my head as Xiumin busted up laughing.
"Did... Did I miss something?"

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
"So... You're not dating Luhan? Suho's also not dating Sehun?" I looked in between Luhan and Xiumin.
"Yes."
"But you... Aish I'm so confused." I raked my fingers through my hair.
"I'm technically dating Luhan and Suho is technically dating Sehun." I frustratedly bit my lip. I glared at Sehun as he began to laugh.
"You're confusing him."
"Umm... You see I'm dating Suho in secrecy but we use these two as covers."
"Why?"
"Aish how should I put this?" Luhan suddenly jumped in.
"Suho is very rich and his parents already don't like the fact that their son is gay but they would disown him if they found out he was dating someone of... Sorry Xiumin. Less money than themselves. So being Xiumin's friend and Sehun being Suho's we agreed to be their covers so that they can date each other and everyone's happy." I began to shake my head.
"That's not happy. You two shouldn't have to do that."
"D...DO?" I looked up at Xiumin.
"I'm sorry but they shouldn't. If Suho loves you so much then he should be able to tell his parents exactly what's going on."
"You're right." We all jumped when a voice joined into our conversation.
"Suho?" We all said at the same time as we turned. The short bleached haired boy smiled awkwardly.
"Can I join?" Everyone was still processing what was going on, Suho took it as a chance to just take a seat next to us. After a little while of silence Suho finally broke it. "DO, you're right. But it's not me who doesn't want to tell my parents, it's Xiumin. Even though I don't agree with it, I'll stick by him in any of his decisions." Suho smiled as he lightly grasped Xiumin's hand.
"Xiumin? But why?" I turned to Xiumin to see him biting his lip.
"I... I don't want his family to disown him. I d...don't want him to lose his family for me." We all watched as Suho kissed Xiumin's fingers.
"You are my family. I've told you it doesn't matter what my family decides so long as I have you." I glared at Sehun as I found him making gagging motions. I smirked as Luhan smacked him upside the head and glared at him before turning his gaze back to Xiumin and Suho.
"I'm not ready." Xiumin quickly stood up and began running out of the restaurant.
"Xiumin!" I quickly shot up. "I'll... I'll go talk to him. D...don't worry Suho. And umm I'm sorry about punching you two." I quickly bowed and began running after Xiumin.

"Xiumin!" It had gotten colder as I searched for Xiumin. I had tried calling him but he wouldn't pick up.
'Dammit! Where could he have gone?' I tried to think of places he would have gone. I jumped when my phone rang. "Xiumin?"
"Why the hell are you waiting for Xiumin to call? You spent all day and night with him."
"Kai, really I can talk right now. Just call me later..."
"No! All day I've tried calling you and I get the same answer. I'm with Xiumin I'll talk to you later. I want to talk right now!"
"Jongin you're being childish. Please really I don't have time to talk to you right now."
"If you don't have time to talk to me now then you won't later so just don't call me and don't expect me to pick up if you do." Before I could reply Kai had hung up. 'What?' I was too worried about Xiumin to comprehend what Kai had said and quickly brushed it off.
"Xiumin!" I stopped as I heard a soft whimper. "Xiumin?" I spotted a small figure huddled in a corner of a small alley. The moon gave me enough light to make out Xiumin's pinkish hair. "Xiumin?"
"Go away." I was shocked at the sound of Xiumin's voice. The usual cheery voice was now hoarse.
"Xiumin please talk to me." I slowly moved towards Xiumin, taking small steps until I made it to him. I crouched down in front of him and wrapped him up in his forgotten jacket.
"I said go away DO." Xiumin lightly pushed at my chest.
"No. I won't leave you like this." Xiumin slowly raised his head. I grasped him into a hug and lightly rubbed his back like he had done for me when I had broken up with Kai. "Xiumin please don't cry anymore. Talk to me." Of course I didn't expect Xiumin to stop crying, and he didn't until I had walked him to my house and made him some hot coco.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
"Alright you staying over here. When you're ready to talk, I'll be waiting." I smiled at an exhausted looking Xiumin. I had called Nana to tell her Xiumin was staying with me for the night. "How about we talk in the morning hmm. For now let's go get into bed." Xiumin slowly nodded.
"Are you sure you want me to sleep on the bed?" I smiled up at Xiumin.
"Yep. Now no more arguing. Get some rest." Before long Xiumin's soft breathing filled the room. I smiled as I slowly got up from my place on the floor and walked over to my window. I grasped my jacket before I opened the window and slid out to my balcony. I grabbed out my phone and dialed Kai's phone number.
"The number you have reached may...." I hit the end button and redialed. After four attempts I finally gave up. I decided to call Suho and tell him that I had found Xiumin.
"He hates me, doesn't he?"
"No, I think he just has a lot running through his mind." I tried to think of something to cheer Suho up but I couldn't find anything.
"As long as he's okay. Please take care of him. When he's upset he won't eat anything and he'll get sick easily."
"I promise."
"DO, thank you."
"You're welcome. Now you make sure to eat and get plenty of rest. Xiumin will be back to his old self in no time." I heard a small chuckle from Suho.
"Yeah I will. Go to sleep now DO."
"Wait Suho."
"Hmm?" I bit my bottom lip.
"Umm... Could you maybe call or check in with Kai. I can't reach him and I'm a little worried."
"Really? But I just got of the phone with him before you called."
"Oh. Well never mind. I must have called when you were talking to him. I'll try again in the morning."
"Haha okay. Night DO."
"Good night Suho." I quickly hung up the phone. I furrowed my eyebrows as I looked up at the sky. 'Why didn't Kai pick up any of my calls?' I shook my head as I quietly walked back into the room.

"DO? Are you awake?"
"Hmm..." I had just laid down when Xiumin's small voice echoed throughout the room.
"I... I'm ready to talk." I slowly got up and moved to my bed.
"Alright then. Skooch over." After we got settled and I had my lamp I faced Xiumin. "Whenever you're ready." I smiled at him as I patted his hand.
"I'm sorry for causing you to come look for me. I won't ever do that again. I made a fool out of myself when I ran didn't I?"
"No. You didn't." Xiumin laughed.
"Hmm... I did, I know I did. It's just that what Suho said was true and I felt so guilty. We wouldn't have to hide our relationship if I would just get up enough courage to tell his parents about us. It's just that... I know what it feels like not to have parents. Mine abandoned me because they fell in love with other people and they didn't want the responsibility of taking care of a child. I... I don't want Suho to lose his because of me." Xiumin weakly smiled at me, tears b at the bottom of his eyes. I quickly hugged him.
"Do...don't think that." I lightly rubbed Xiumin's back as he clutched onto my shirt.
"It's true... I refuse to tell Suho this, he'll just worry about me more and all of our hiding will be for not. Believe me, at some moments I do want to go and tell his parents that I don't care what they think of me because I know what Suho thinks of me and that's all I need. I love Suho and that's all that should matter, is that someone loves their son with every fiber of his being. But I can't. I have no self confidence and I could never say that to them. I'd rather hide my relationship with him than to lose him because his parents send him away." I finally understood what was going through Xiumin's mind as he spilled every thing to me. Xiumin had finally cried himself to sleep just as the sun broke over the horizon. I made one last phone call before I crawled in next to Xiumin and fell asleep.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I opened one eye when I felt something heavy drape over me. I was met with another brown set of eyes. "TAO!!" I squealed as I hugged the tall boy. He laughed as he hugged me back.
"DO-ge!" I suddenly remembered Xiumin and I squirmed to get out of Tao's hold. "If your looking for the chubby cheeked boy he's down stairs with Kris-ge." I turned back to Tao and raised an eyebrow.
"Why aren't you down there with them?" He brought me back down and hugged me tighter.
"Because I missed my favorite little DO." I lightly punched his arm.
"I'm not little."
"Small?" I lightly punched him again. He only chuckled. "Either way I missed you. Is the chubby cheeked one your boyfriend? Why didn't you call me? I thought you would always tell me."
"He's not my boyfriend. That's Xiumin my new friend I made and the one I called you guys about. Kai's my boyfriend." Tao squealed like a little girl.
"Oh oh do you have a picture of him? I wanna see!" I laughed.
"You kind of have to let me go first." Tao smiled.
"Fine." I watched as his smile turned to a pout. I walked over to my jacket and grabbed out my phone before returning over to Tao, who took up all of my bed leaving me to seat with my back against his chest. "I better not have to deal with a jealous Kris because of this." Tao just chuckled as he motioned for me to hurry up and show him. I hadn't realized how many pictures I had taken with Kai and of Kai until I had Tao begging me to send him all types of pics. "That's it! No more! Come on let's go down to the others." Tao puffed out his bottom lip and used his aeygo.
"DO-ge promise to send me those pictures."
"Why?"
"Because I want some of you being so CUTE!!!" I narrowed my gaze at him.
"Nope because you called me cute." I got up and got to the door before I was back hugged and picked up off my feet. "Tao!" He swiftly opened the door and began walking down the stairs.
"I won't set you down until you promise to send me those pictures I asked for!" Tao yelled back with much enthusiasm.
"You called me cute, why should I give you what you want?" I crossed my arms over Tao's.
"Because if you don't I'll be very sad. DO-ge do you want me to be sad?" I puffed out my cheeks as Tao used his childish voice, knowing full well I would give in.
"Fine! Now put me down!" Tao gently set me down as he stepped off of the stairs. I turned when I heard chuckling coming from the dinning room. I felt my face redden as I saw Kris and Xiumin watching me. Yet I couldn't contain my excitement at seeing Kris. I quickly ran over to him and hugged him.
"Hey Kyungsoo." He laughed as he hugged me back. I narrowed my gaze as I stepped back.
"What happened to calling me DO?" Kris raised an eyebrow as he stared down at me.
"I just thought you might have grown out of it."
"Liar!" I playfully nudged his side before I went over to Xiumin's side.
"It's nice to meet you both." Xiumin bowed his head slightly.
"We're glad Xiumin found a friend after moving. I hope he's not to much trouble. He gets a little angry when people call him little or small or ..." Kris was interrupted by Tao's sudden outburst.
"CUTE!" Tao giggled as if he found this word the funniest in all of the dictionaries.
"Yes or Cute." Kris laughed as he sat back. I glared at both of them. "Anyways what are you feeding us DO?" I raised an eyebrow at Kris.
"What?"
"We're HUNGRY!!" Tao motioned with his hands as he poked his stomach. Xiumin also did the same and surprisingly so did Kris.
"You all planned this didn't you?" They each plastered an innocent expression on their faces.
"What do you mean?" I rolled my eyes as I got up from my chair. 'I can't believe they got my Xiumin' I thought this as I went and grabbed the pizza places number to order.

"There, Happy?" I asked as I placed the pizza boxes on the table.
"Yes!" All three of them said in union. After everyone had eaten a good bit I decided it was time to tell Xiumin why Kris and Tao were here. "Xiumin?"
"Hmm?" Xiumin looked up at me and I for a second lost my words.
"Umm... The reason Kris and Tao are here is because I called them."
"Okay? I'll leave after lunch." Xiumin looked at me with confusion.
"No. Umm I called them for you."
"What?" I heard Kris clear his throat grasping Xiumin's attention.
"He called us in for our... Expert knowledge on your situation." Xiumin's eyes widened and he looked at me in disbelief.
"Y...you told them. You promised." I felt my chest tighten as I saw the hurt flash in his eyes.
"Wa..."
"Xiumin-ge he called us because me and Kris had the same issue as us. He did it because he wants you to be happy. Please don't be upset with him." Xiumin's gaze was grasped by Tao.
"Precisely." I glared over at Kris because he had made the situation worse before I could think of a good way to tell him.
"Xiumin see I wanted to help you but I didn't know how and then I thought of Kris and Tao. They... They had went through what you're going through now and I thought they could help you. I'm sorry for telling them." I nervously looked down at my hands as I waited for him to say something.
"Y...you went through the same thing?"
"Yes." I looked up to see Xiumin staring at me then at the other two.
"An...and you're going to help me?"
"Yes, that's the plan. For now why don't we tell you how we were in the same situation but got out of it." I stifled my laughter as Tao jumped in.
"You see Kris wasn't on the same social status as me. In fact our parents hated each other and did everything they could just so we wouldn't cross paths with each other. Of course that didn't stop us we found different ways to see each other. Kris wanted to come out and tell his parents but I didn't want him to, considering he was next in line to take over his fathers business. We had used DO. Our parents thought we were each dating DO."
"Wait I'm sorry I'm confused."
"Tao was supposedly dating DO and I was supposedly dating DO. Our parents didn't know we were both dating him. Of course this was just a cover up."
"I felt so used." I faked crying. A light smack to my shoulder caused me to laugh. "I'm sorry go ahead." I heard Xiumin giggle and I couldn't help but smile.
"Anyways one day I heard that Kris was going to be meeting up with someone his father had arranged. They were supposed to be having a lovely dinner at Kris's house for him to meet his future wife. Of course not really thinking I ran all the way to his house, DO following close behind because he thought something was wrong and umm running out from eating lunch together is not all that good." Kris took the lead seeing as Tao was getting off topic.
"Well he ran all the way to my house and barged in surprising everyone, including me. He ran to my side and grabbed my arm. He was out of breath yet he still yelled, 'No Kris is mine! No one can have him because I Love him more than any of you!' Before I knew what was happening he had grasped my face in between his hands and kissed me in front of everyone. A couple of woman had fainted and my parents were shocked. My parents were upset but asked if I felt the same way. Of course I said yes and told them I didn't want to be with anyone but Tao. Their next statement caught both him and I of guard. They looked at each other before they turned and said 'If you make our son happy then there's nothing we can do about it.' Of course that wasn't what made our day what made our day was watching this one," Kris pointed towards me, "run into the house panting and sweating. Yelling 'Tao what the hell are you...' And freezing as he saw everyone's gazes turned to him. It was funnier watching him awkwardly walk out saying something like 'sorry to have intruded I must... Um must have got the wrong...' And turning and running out of the house." I glared at Kris.
"That's what made your day?" Everyone looked at Tao and found him puffing out his cheeks.
"Of course not my sweet panda. You announcing you loved me was." I quickly covered mine and Xiumin's eyes as Kris leaned over and kissed Tao.
"Ya! Don't do that in my house!" I heard them chuckle before I removed my hands.

"I wish I had your courage Tao. But I can't do that. I'm fine with..." Xiumin stopped knowing what he was about to say next was going to be a lie. Tao reached over and grasped Xiumin's hand.
"It wasn't courage Xiumin-ge. It was pure fear that I was going to lose the one I love most in this world. To never feel his touch, get his kisses, be surprised by him, to never get to be in his presence again. I didn't want that, I wanted to always have those things and thinking that another person might get those things caused me to do what I did. Xiumin-ge, answer me this. You love this Suho, don't you?"
"With every fiber of my being." Xiumin said without a seconds thought.
"Then honestly, why should it matter what others think? Show your love to his parents. If they truly love their son they would want him to be happy, wouldn't they?"
"But... I don't want him to lose his parents."
"Has he not already said he doesn't care as long as he has you?"
"Yes. But one day he'll regret it and then he'll come to hate me." This is what caused me to step in.
"Xiumin! How can you say that? Suho loves you with everything he's got. He's willing to do anything for you, even keep you two dating from his parents because he is keeping to your wishes. Please don't say Suho will come to hate you. If anything his love for you will grow." Xiumin's eyes began to water.
"Xiumin-ge, you've said you love him more than anything right? Then why don't you do what he wants. He chose what he wanted and that was to go along with you and wanting to keep it a secret. But don't you think this is upsetting him more because you don't want to announce that your together and you love each other." Tears began to spill over Xiumin's cheeks as he bit his bottom lip. He wiped at them furiously.
"Y...yes. I've thought that so many times it's burned into my brain! I want to tell him... But I can't. I don't want him to be taken away from me."
"He'll do anything to stay by you. He won't go without a fight." Kris added as he passed me tissues to hand to Xiumin. "We'll stand by you, if you would like. We'll of course stand outside because this..." He motions in a circle, "is not our fight." I watched as Xiumin looked at me with pleading eyes.
"D...DO will you stand next to me when I go and tell his parents?" I looked at Xiumin and smiled.
"If that's what you want. But remember, it's your battle not mine." Xiumin weakly smiled at us.
"Thank you." Kris bowed his head while Tao smiled and patted Xiumin's hand.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
After a little while Xiumin suddenly stood up and grasped my hand. "Come on DO. Before I lose my Courage or Fear." Xiumin smiled at Tao. "I'll bring Suho with me. I'm determined." I smiled at Xiumin, seeing a new fire burn in Xiumin's eyes.
"When you do we want to meet him and your Kai DO!" They yelled as we began running towards the front door.
"Come on DO!" I laughed as I tried to catch up with Xiumin.
"I'm coming, keep going! Don't lose this passion!" I yelled up to him. My phone rang. "Aish of all the times." We were almost to Suho's house so I quickly answered the phone. "Kris? Tao? Which ever one I'm not talking right now. We're almost to Suho's." I quickly hung up the phone and placed it securely back into my pocket. I had just caught up to Xiumin when he stepped onto the porch. He looked nervous but it quickly disappeared when I grabbed his hand. "You can do this." I flashed him 'fighting' before he rang the doorbell.

"Xiumin? DO? What..." Xiumin pushed passed Suho but I quickly grabbed onto Suho's jacket sleeve and pulled him behind us. It took Xiumin a couple of minutes to actually find where Suho's parents were considering how big the house was but when he did his fire seemed to relight.
"Excuse me." Xiumin bowed and I quickly followed, forgetting I had a hold of Suho's arm and caused him to also bow. When I leaned up I saw Suho's parents staring at us curiously.
"Yes." I saw Xiumin begin to shake but a squeeze of my hand reassured him I wasn't going anywhere.
"I'm Kim Minsoek and I'm dating your son."
"Xiumin!"
"What?" The room was filled with both Suho's and his parents disbelief. I let go of Suho's sleeve, watching as he came and stepped in front of Xiumin, blocking him from his parents stares.
"X...Xiumin what are you doing?" I watched as Xiumin smiled at Suho.
"I'm doing what we should have done in the first place. I'm ready and I'll stand by you in any decisions including this one, although I kind of already told them..." Suho laughed and bent down. He kissed Xiumin.
"I love you Xiumin."
"I love you Suho." I smiled at them. 'Aww my little Xiumin is growing up' Xiumin suddenly lightly pushed Suho out of the way. "I love your son. I will stand by him in any decisions he will make. I'm sorry if you do not approve of your son dating someone like me but I love him anyways. I love everything about him even when he gets grumpy when he has a cold or acts childish to get his way. Everything good and bad I love about him. With each passing day I believe I will come to love him even more. Please..." I watched as Xiumin bowed respectfully low. "Do not hate him or anything like that because of..." My eyes widened as Suho stopped Xiumin from talking and bowed.
"Mother, father. I love Xiumin as much as he has said he loves me. I hope that you can accept this and love both of us. If not you will lose one son instead of gaining two." I thought my eyes were going to pop out of my head when Suho said this. Xiumin suddenly shot up and looked at Suho.
"Suho!"
"It's true my Baozi." Suho smiled at Xiumin as if he was the only thing in the room, the only thing that could make his day better when it was bad. I quickly turned when I heard footsteps. Suho's father was walking towards us, his mother not far behind. I felt Xiumin's grip on my hand tighten and I squeezed just as hard, letting him know I was still there. They stopped in front of Xiumin.
"What of this Sehun he was dating before?"
"Fath..." Suho shut his mouth as his father raised his hand motioning for him to stop.
"Kim Minseok I asked a question."
"I... I asked him to pretend to date Suho so that I may see him."
"Xiumin, no that's..."
"I couldn't bring myself to tell you we were dating because I didn't want Suho to lose his parents. I lost mine because of their love and I didn't want that to happen to Suho." After saying this I thought I saw Xiumin stand a little taller, as if a heavy burden had been lifted off of his shoulders. It was quiet after that, no one moved or talked. Finally Suho's dad cleared his throat.
"You were willing to do what you feared most for my son?"
"Y...yes sir."
"Does he make you happy, Suho?"
"More than anything in the world."
"Then I guess I have no objections, so long as my son is happy." I watched as Suho's dad patted Xiumin's shoulder. "Take care of my son Kim Minseok." Suho's dad turned and took his wife's hand bringing her back to their seats. I quickly let go of Xiumin's hand as Suho grabbed him in a hug and spun him around.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
"KYUNGSOO!!! Where the hell are you!" I jumped at the familiar voice and turned in time to see an angry faced Kai stalking towards me. Suho, Xiumin, and I all exchanged curious glances. Before I knew what was happening I was picked up and slung over Kai's back.
"Wh... Kai put me down!" I looked up to see Xiumin staring at us curious, while Suho's parents had shocked expressions. "Ah! I'm so sorry for this. I apologize!" I yelled just as we turned the corner. Before I knew it cool air hit my face and I was being carried to wherever Kai was taking me. "Kai put me the down!" I was getting frustrated with him. He didn't answer me and kept walking. I watched as we passed his house and tons of staring people.

When we had stepped into some place warm he finally set me down, only to trap me against the wall. "What the hell did you do that for! Do you know how em..." Before I could say anymore Kai crushed his lips with mine. Biting my bottom lip, causing me to gasp which allowed him to slip his tongue into my mouth. All of my strength vanished and my legs began to go weak. As Kai pulled away a small whimper left my mouth at the loss. I suddenly remembered that I was mad at him and I pushed at him. "Ya! What is wrong with you! You haven't answered my calls and then you show up like that." Kai looked at me his eyes growing dark.
"You ignored my calls for Xiumin. The first time I was really worried cause you were breaking up. The second you were doing something with Xiumin which caused you to yell 'no stop!' And then the third time you were looking for Xiumin. And then today who the is Tao and Kris!" My eyes widened and I tried to bite back a smile.
"Are you jealous?"
"Hell no!"
"You are and there's no reason to be. That first call I was in another town with Xiumin at an amusement park to make him feel better, second call I was at dinner with Xiumin, also trying to make him feel better. When I had yelled no stop, I was trying to stop Xiumin from seeing Luhan with Sehun. That third call was because Xiumin ran off crying because of something Suho had said, I was looking for him. Worried because he had left his jacket, he was out in the cold, and crying his eyes out. And finally I was running after Xiumin to Suho's because he was going to tell Suho's parents he was going to confess..." Kai kissed me again this time softer. Yet still as affective. When he pulled back he began to nuzzle my neck. "And who Tao and Kris are..."
"Dating and best friends of DO." I froze as I finally realized where we were. Kai had stopped and looked up.
"OH! You're so much cuter in person! Look at him Kris- ge." I watched as Tao grasped Kai's hand and dragged him into the living room, an unhappy Kris following behind. My embarrassment had finally tipped.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Nope I was wrong it finally tipped when Suho and Xiumin came over and told Tao and Kris of how Kai stormed in and placed me over his shoulder taking me out of the house. I sat frozen in the chair as Tao and Kris laughed at this and began saying it was better than when I had stormed into Kris's house. But it died down when Kai laced his fingers through mine and shot me the smile I love the most.

In the first story yes. But I also tried to make it seem like Xiumin's and Luhan's relationship wasn't so good. TT . TT atleast I hope I brought that conclusion. The first story Suho is with Sehun and Luhan is with Xiumin but Luhan only came in once. And in this story it explains why. I'm sorry if this doesn't help. I'll try to think of a better way to explain it ^.^
