Life and Death represents the 2 different territories or places in a certain city in Tokyo, Japan. Life represents the lively and rich community of the other half of the city. And Death represents the dark and scary side of the city that has mysteries going on for many years. Such as, there were discoveries made that when a citizen from Life came to cross to the Death Territory, that person will vanish and as weeks pass by, none of the residents of Life Territory noticed that the person who will cross to the other side dies.
