forget me not; love me not
Description
Hyukjae never believed he would find the love of his life in a faraway country, a place of foreign culture. There, he meets Lee Donghae, but soon realised that the beautifully enchanting stranger is more than what meets the eye.
length: one-shot two-shot
pairing: hyukhae
genre: angst, romance, fluff
rating: PG
disclaimer: I only own the plot guys calm down
warning: extreme angst probably at some point of the story
A/N: To celebrate the end of a beguiling anathema and also I felt guilty for deleting Just One Last Dance; sorry to those loyal subscribers who are probably hating me but oh well. I just feel really unsatisfied with the effort and general writing with that story. Might repost later, not sure yet.
Do not plagiarise it is rude.

His mum always says his love for coffee would become a problem eventually. Now, at the age of twenty-six, sitting with a cup of bitter sweetness in his hand, he chuckles lightly to himself remembering the past. Those little arguments with his parents, the happiness he felt when his favourite dishes were served, and the rules he broke with his friends and more. Now reminiscing back, he had been quite a handful to look after. Perhaps it was due to his wrongdoings that resulted in his heartbreaks. Remembering his past exes and how foolish he was when he met his first true love, in the exact same place he is sitting and drinking the exact same drink, caramel macchiato, an understanding smile creeps onto his lips. Everyone had his or her share of a painful experience, and his happens to be a sad ending.
Closing his eyes momentarily as vivid waves of memories tap his mind, he let out a breathy gasp, attempting to calm his erratic heart. The past doesn’t matter anymore, because he has someone he truly loves. It’s all over now, Donghae. Let those memories fly.
Glancing at his watch again after a small sip of the cold beverage, he hums a light merry tune under his breath as he waits.
