"Ya, I have some free meal coupons. Let's go have dinner." Yongguk asked Daehyun who was busy packing his stuffs into his bag.

"Hyung, why don't we go some other day? I'm meeting a friend today." 

"But this free coupon is only valid till today. I really don't like eating alone too..It's a shame if we let it go to waste just like that…"

" I'm really grateful for the offer but I wish you would get a girlfriend so you would stop bugging me about going to these kinds of events! Last time was ticket for two to aquarium for god's sake! Did you not notice the weird gazes we were getting in the aquarium?"

"Do you think I like asking you to those stuffs too? I get too many free coupons and feel really bad about letting it go to waste. It just happens that you are the only one free… And I really want to date too. It's just that I can't seem to find a girl who interests me…."

Daehyun sighed, knowing how Yongguk felt

"Hyung, what about asking my friend to join us for dinner then? Will that be a problem?"

"That's fine. Let's do that. It your friend will be fine with it " Yongguk beamed

"Ha! She will totally love it! And hyung, your meal coupon may not cover her food. She really is a big eater" Daehyun teased

"It's a she? I thought it was a male friend. Who's she anyway? I hope it's not your girlfriend or something. I don’t want to be a third wheel."

"She's my childhood friend. She actually studies in our university too. But since our major and class timings are different we hardly cross path." Daehyun explained

"Hmm..what major is she?"

"Theatre…Ah we are here!"

Yongguk looked around, wondering where she was supposed to be. All he could see was a kindergarten playground where small children were running around

"Yah…what are we doing in front of a kindergarten?"

"She works part time here after university. She should be here anytime now."

Just then, Daehyun's voice got drowned by a loud wail of a child, and both of them turned to the source of the wail

A little boy had just fallen down and was crying while other children looked at him

A woman in ponytails ran to the crying child and fussed over him. She took the child into his arms and soothed him gently. The child stopped crying and then she rewarded him with her smile.

There was something about this entire scene that Yongguk couldn’t take his eyes off. He was still wondering what exactly happened to him when a voice snapped him out of it few minutes later

"Dae! Sorry to have made you wait! "

Yongguk turned to the source of voice and came face to face with the woman who just calmed down the wailing boy. She had changed from the uniform from earlier into casual jeans, sneakers and jumper

"Eunji ya, this is my close hyung. Hyung, this is Eunji."

"Anneonghaseyo! I'm sorry I made you wait. I didn’t know Daehyun had someone with him." She apologized

"Aniya, I was the one who invited myself today so I should be the one apologizing. I hope you won't mind me joining you both."

"I don’t mind at all!" she replied before turning to Daehyun " Dae, so where are we going today?"

"Actually, hyung is treating us tonight. He has some free coupons to a restaurant. That's why he is here actually"

"I'm really sorry about getting treated at our first meeting.. " Eunji said apologetically to Yongguk

"I'd say 'More the merrier'" Yongguk just brushed it off

They were waiting with mug of beer for their food to arrive

"Are you sure the food will be enough?" Yongguk asked Eunji

Eunji nodded

"Please don’t hesitate to order more okay?" Yongguk was adamant

"I won't…" Eunji noticed Daehyun who looked like he would burst into laughter at any moment "Wait. You are asking because Daehyun told you weird stuffs about me, aren't you?" Eunji asked Yongguk and when she got no denial from him began to curse Daehyun

"YA! JUNG DAEHYUN! Yongguk sunbae, please don’t take him seriously. How do you guys know each other actually?"

"Same club. We hang out quite often so we kind of got close…. "

"Aah. So you must be the hyung he talks about often!"

"Eunji ya, isn't it hard working in kindergarten for part time job? You could have gotten easier part time jobs couldn’t you?" Yongguk asked curiously

"I could have gotten them..but even though its tiring, seeking kids' heals me somehow. Plus I get weekends off."

Yongguk got what she meant as he too loved kids, and was always regretful that he couldn’t spend more time with his nephews and nieces

"You said you are theatre major, what got you into it?"

"I have always liked singing, and we did some musicals at high school and I loved the idea of acting and singing at the same time. Plus I'm really bad at maths" she winced

Yongguk grinned at her demeanor

"You should come see our musical sometime. I'll tell you the details later!"
