CHAPTER 1

They were holding each other right now, but they weren’t looking at each other’s faces.They were standing in the cold, it was romantic at first but the weather was not helping.

 After an awkward while, Go Mi Nyu sneezed. That was like something necessary to be break apart finally, since they were two inexperienced people about relationships so they couldn’t just let off.

Hwang Tae Kyung said:

“It’s getting cold; we don’t want you to be sick, right? Let’s go inside.”

“Yea.” said Go Mi Nyu, stepping back herself.

Hwang Tae Kyung looked at her:

 “I always want to look directly to her face” he thought,

But just smiled a little and turn back, started walking through. Go Mi Nyu followed him, as usual. Then she said

“I am going to get some blankets and other stuff from Oppa’s room then.”

Hwang Tae Kyung scowled and lifted his eye-brows:”Wae?” he asked.

And then continued with his ordering voice: “You don’t need them. You’re going to stay in my room.”

Go Mi Nyu’s eyes expanded: “Why, but Hyungnim-“

Tae Kyung interrupted her sentence holding her arm and start going upstairs:

”Didn’t you sleep there that all time? What’s the matter now?”

Mi Nyu was coming, but wanted to say no, but it was a problem for her to say no to him. Tae Kyung was smiling, but is this evil smile or just a normal smile, Mi Nyu thought. She started to explain again: “Hyungnim, I think I’d better sleep in the living room. It will be a little awkward with-“

“Why awkward?” Tae Kyung asked. “I knew you were a girl that time too, why is it a problem now?”

“I thought you saw me just as a troublemaker  then, so it was okay, but if you see me as a girl, we can’t stay in the same room!” she wanted to say. But just smiled and said:

”Hyungniiim.”

Tae Kyung was like heard nothing and he kept that mysterious smile on his face. He asked:

“You want to sleep in the left side or the right side?”

Go Mi Nyu gave a small scream:” W-What?”

Hwang Tae Kyung widened his smile and said:

“Yes, I give you permission to choose which side of the bed you want to sleep, why so surprised?”

Go Mi Nyu was really afraid. “What should I do?” she thought.”I don’t really know what to say or do right now.”

Hwang Tae Kyung was looking at her like it is the most normal thing in the world, but then he suddenly turned and headed to the closet, had a blanket and a pillow, turned back to Mi Nyu and said with a voice of victory :

” Don’t be that worry. You will sleep in my bed and I will sleep in the living room.“

He stopped a little and decided to continue:

“Your face turned into a really very afraid rabbit. “ he laughed.

Go Mi Nyu was relieved. She said:

“Why did you try to fool me? I was so afraid.” but then she laughed too :

“So, you can make jokes, ha?” she said with a low voice.

“What did you say? “he asked.

“You don’t have to leave your comfortable bed.” she said instead.

“I know.” He answered. “You know where the towels and everything else, you can use extra ones and one of you PJs was left there in the closet, the red one. Sleep like it’s your room but, don’t change the places of my things, if you can.” he didn’t want to add the second part, but couldn’t stop himself.

He coughed a little to clear his throat to cover it up. But Go Mi Nyu didn’t seem like offended.

“Of course, I will . And thank you, Hwang Tae Kyung-shi.”

“I like her saying my name.”  Tae Kyung thought, smiled and as he was leaving the room he suddenly stopped like something came up to his mind, he left the stuff in his hands just outside the room and turn back to his girl. He walked right through to Mi Nyu and put his hands on her shoulders:

“Go Mi Nyu, I know that I am not the type of person who can show his feelings, but you see, I am trying. So I ask you to believe that I mean when I say that I love you. Even if I don’t show it, you must know that I don’t want to lose you again. Okay?” he said all these words in one breathe like if he stops, he can never finish his words.

Mi Nyu just looked for a moment and then nodded. She wasn’t familiar with this. Neither this kind of relationships nor this kind of Hwang Tae Kyung.

Tae Kyung waited a little,

“Shouldn’t she say something in return?” he thought but then put his hands off her and attempted to go. Mi Nyu stopped him holding his hand. She hugged him from his left side:

“Have a very good sleep with all beautiful dreams.” she said like a mom to an ill child.

Tae Kyung touched her arm which is in the front of him.

“Well, “he thought, “at least that was a reply.”

Mi Nyu slowly took her hands of when Tae Kyung said:

”You, too.” and he left the room. Mi Nyu was delighted, surprised, happy…

Every good word in the world, she thought. She lay on the left side of the bed and then felt guilty to lay on Tae Kyung’s spot and moved to the other side. She was exhausted. It must be nearly 4 am in the morning now. After all that concert chaos, it was late, she was tired but she couldn’t help but smiling.

“I’ll take the shower in the morning.” she thought. She fell asleep, with a smile on her face, imagining the beautiful Hwang Tae Kyung beside her.
