ㅏ = a (pronounced as : fAther)
ㅗ = o (hOme)
ㅜ = u (mOOn)
ㅡ = eu (pUt)
ㅣ = i (mEEt)
ㅓ = eo (sAW)
ㅔ = e (mEt)
ㅐ = ae (hAnd [but add a little "e" to it , just like how you say "saranghAE"])
ㅑ = ya
ㅛ = yo
ㅠ = yu
ㅕ = yeo
ㅖ = ye
ㅒ = yae
ㅘ = wa
ㅙ = wae
ㅚ = oe (WEt)
ㅝ = wo
ㅞ = we
ㅟ = wi
♬Consonants♬
ㅂ = b/p
ㅁ = m
ㅈ = j
ㄴ = n
ㅋ = k
ㄷ = d/t
ㅇ = ng (silent in initial position . ex: 아 = a , 뱅 = baeng)
ㅌ = t
ㄱ = g/k
ㄹ = r/l
ㅊ = ch
ㅅ = s
ㅎ = h
ㅍ = p
ㅃ = pp
ㅉ = jj
ㄸ = tt
ㄲ = kk
ㅆ = ss
NOTE : All vowels cannot stand alone as a word . You have to add ㅇ or any other consonant in front of it . Remember , ㅇ is silent if you put it as the first character in the word .
