 "Son please refrain from using that type of vulgar language." My father seriously thought this was the time to give me a lecture?  
"How can he not use that language when you just drop that type of news all of the sudden, with no prior warning!" Mei ling was screeching against my fathers words as if it had to do anything with her.
"Father could you please explain?" I asked still in the initial shock a little bit.
"No he will not do any explaining because this is not happening!" Mei ling kept butting in. And just to piss her off more I decided to do anything I could. Without thinking about the consequences. 
"Father, passing my initial shock I accept. I am single and I have no reason to object against your wishes, I believe you have chosen a good women for me." 
"That's my boy! Let me tell you this, your marriage will be beneficial for the company and our public image since Mrs. Kim has offered me her most beautiful granddaughter!" 
"Very well father, I shall make my leave now since our discussion here has ended." 
"No, wait son, I must give you the address and the date for the first meeting, I have the information in my studio please wait here while I go get them." My father was already halfway gone when he finished saying that. Oh great he left me alone with his of a wife, what am i supposed to do if she tries to talk to me? Knock her out and run away? Ugh she so creepy sometimes I could just- 
"I hope you know what your doing krissy, getting married it signing your life to someone else forever, You might regret it... PLEASE DON'T ING AGREE TO THIS!! Are you out of your mind? You don't even know the stupid girl!" She sounded panicked all of the sudden and I didn't mind that what bothered me was that she interrupted my thought with her unwanted and unnecessary comment.
"Well it's my ing business not yours so please stop sticking your ugly nose in something that doesn't concern you." I replied calmly enjoying the distressed look on her face only to hear my father lecturing me again for talking un respectfully to his 'lovely wife' as he would call her.
"Why do you not like Mei ling? She is the sweetest step mom you could have and she loves you so much son, please try being nicer to her, i remember you use to like her a lot and even follow her around. I don't know whats changed."  He sounded disappointed but I only took the papers he was holding out to me and dismissed his comment.
"Farewell father I shall see you when the meeting comes." I bid him goodbye and went to my car. When I sat down and tried to process all the events that had just happened all I could say was... "What the hell did
