although i promised to myself to ignore him but i still can't seem to avoid his scary stares which seem to be penetrating my back and giving me gooseflesh. But sadly, on this particular day, my friend who sits the beside me didn't come to school. In my class we sit 3 people in one row. So the girl that sat beside me which is not Insyi but her name is Fathiah, didn't come which made me more than uncomfortable because on that particular day, Niel's other two friends who sat beside him and behind me didn't come either. So usually, the teacher will ask the others to fill up the empty places which was what exactly what happened to day.

"Niel, where is Chanjo and Chunji?" asked our class teacher, Misses Hino

"Owh! I don't know, teacher. I think they went to the mall. I'm not sure." said Niel so honestly.

"Wow! He actually gave away his friends!! So good!" Insyi whispered to me

"I'm actually as surprised as you are..." i whispered back

"Oh, okay. Thank you, Niel. The counselors will take care of them so now who else didn't come today... hhmmm... Oh, JiYoon, where is Fathiah today? Why didn't she come today?" asked Misses Hino

"Well, she went to the hospital because her grandmother is sick now, teacher. She went to visit her grandmother. She told me this yesterday. She called me and asked me to inform you, teacher" i said

"Oh! Is her grandmother very sick, JiYoon?" asked Misses Hino

"I'm not sure, teacher. But i think she has diabetes and so they had to admit her there for treatment i think." i said

"Oh, i see.. Well, okay. Please tell her later that i sent my regards to her and her grandmother okay, JiYoon?" asked Misses Hino

"Okay, Teacher. I will send your regards teacher" i promised.

"Thank you, JiYoon. Alright now, there seems to be an empty chair beside JiYoon so why don't you move to the seat beside JiYoon today, Niel?" asked Missed Hino

"Sure, Teacher!!! Happily!" said Niel cheerfully

"Oh No!!!!" I screamed in my heart

"He seems to be waiting for the teacher to suggest that, don't you think JiYoon?" whispered Insyi eyeing Niel suspiciously.

*ba-dump ba-dump ba-dump ba-dump*

"Huh? err... Yeah, i'm having the exactly same thought running through my head too" I said

"What happened to you, JiYoon? You look like you have seen a ghost! You look so pale. Are you feeling okay???" asked Insyi in a worried voice

"err.. I'm fine. I'm nervous right now. So please don't show that I'm pale okay?" i said to Insyi while glancing up to see Niel sitting beside me

"Oh! Okay! I understand... Just act cool. Just think he is not there at all, okay?" whispered Insyi

"Hopefully...." i whispered back

"Hopefully, if he doesn't stare at me the whole time" i thought to myself

By then the teacher have took our attendance and was proceeding to start the lesson of the day. Misses Hino teaches us English so she was asking everyone to take out our books and was asking to hand-in our grammar book. After handing in the books, we were asked to write an essay about “The Person We Admire The Most” in a piece of paper. We were asked to hand in the essay by the time she returns from the office. She said to us that she has some unfinished work to do. After explaining the instructions, she left the class in a hurry. I was just happy to get an essay because it was my favorite work to do. While i was thinking about who to write, Insyi butted in and asked me

"Hey, JiYoon! Who are you going to write about?"

"Well, i have two options in front of me. One is my grandmother and the other one is my Idol, Kim Jeong Hoon. So i'm thinking which one to write about. What about you, Insyi?" i asked Insyi

"Well, i'm not sure either. I was going to ask you for your opinion. Who do you think i should write about?" asked Insyi

"I don't know. Someone you really admire. Who do you really admire right now, Insyi?" i asked

"Well, i was thinking of writing about you or Sai. How? Is that okay with you?" asked Insyi

"Err... Whatever.. Just don't write about me! Surely Misses Hino will ask you to go up and read your story so write about Sai instead of me! Please?!" i begged Insyi

"Oh Okay! For your sake, I won't write. Since you get embarrassed so easily...." said Insyi in a thoughtful voice

"Is that a compliment or are you bullying me?" i asked Insyi suspiciously

"Hahahaha! I was just stating the fact. Anyway, ask Niel who is he going to write.. please!!! If you don't want me to write about you in my essay" whispered Insyi

"Evil! No way! You ask yourself!" i told her

"Hmph! Fine!" said Insyi and turned to Niel who was beside me.

"Hey, Niel! Who are you going to write about in your essay huh?" asked Insyi

"Oh! Well, I'm going to write about JiYoon since your writing about Sai." said Niel slyly

"WHAT?!" i shouted.

"Shhhhhh!!! Don't shout, JiYoon! Others are staring at you right now..." said Insyi while she looked around the class.

"Oh, sorry... But back to the topic, Niel don't you dare write about me! If you do, I'll kill you!!" i hissed at him threateningly

"Come on! Let me write about you.... I really would like to talk about you since I can never express my feelings to you, so this is the only way i can express it. Will you allow me?" begged Niel so very innocently with shiny puppy eyes.

"No!" i said firmly.

"Oh! Come on! Please!" Niel begged again

"I said " No " so it's a NO! a strong no! get it! don't piss me off, Niel. You won't like it" i said to Niel threateningly and I switched my eyes from round and innocent to mean and slitted eyes

"Woah! Chill down, JiYoon! Okay okay! I won't write about you, okay?! Just don't look like that!" said Niel going very pale

"Hmph!" and with that grunt, I continued to write my essay about my grandmother, who i really admire.

After finishing my essay, i checked them for any grammar and spelling mistakes. After I was satisfied with my essay, I turned to see if Insyi has finished her essay.

"Well, she seems to be still writing so i'll just peek from her shoulder and see who she is writing about.... Maybe she's writing about Leeteuk..... hhmm... quite possible.... it's not easy to throw away your feelings if you like someone for quite some time.... After all, she did like him for almost 4 years.... I wonder why Leeteuk said such a thing to Insyi when he knows he likes her.... hhmm... mysterious... Oh, whatever! When the time comes, he will realize it..." i thought to myself

i peeked from behind Insyi's shoulder and started reading her essay. Her essay was about Sai. She was writing about her experience with Sai and all the good memories she had with her.

"Well, she did as she said. Wow, her essay looks so great. Love the way she write it. I have a feeling she will be a great writer if she put a little effort into it." I thought about Insyi's writing ability admiringly

After 2 minutes waiting for Insyi, she finally finished. She too re-read her story checking for grammar and spelling mistakes. After that, she turned and saw me watching her. She looked surprised when she saw me watching her

"Yah! Why are you staring at me like that?" said Insyi in a surprised tone

"Oh! It's nothing.. I was just thinking about something" i said cautiously knowing very well she would guess i was thinking about her

"Hhhmm... I bet it's about me, right?" said Insyi

"BINGO! how do you know i was thinking about you, huh?" i asked her

"Hahaha! that's because you were staring at me, silly. Hahaha!" laughed Insyi

"Hahaha! But that doesn't mean I'm thinking about you. I could be thinking about something else, right?" i said to her

"Hahaha! Impossible when you stare at me with those shiny eyes, I know immediately that your thinking about me since you don't give such a look when your thinking of something random. I know you very well, JiYoon!" said Insyi

"Wow! You do know me well, huh? Hahaha! Alright, you got me. I was thinking that your essay was really good and that if you had put enough effort you can become a very famous writer since you write so damn well!" i told her

"Wow! I'm that good, huh? Yours is always better than mine...." said Insyi shyly

"Hahaha! No need to be humble with me. I always tell things very honestly and will never lie" i told her with a twinkle in my eyes

"Hahahaha! True! Anyway, your a bad liar. You can't lie well.. You always stutter when you lie. I know that too" Insyi said

"Wow! Your the best, Insyi! You know me so well! I'm so happy i had a friend like you." i said to her and hugged her

All those while we were talking, Niel was watching us with eyes so green with jealousy. He was thinking to himself,

"Why doesn't she talk to me like that? Why is she so cold towards me? Doesn't she know that i really like her? Is she just testing me for my trust? Man! She makes me feel so confused! I wish I can ask her about it........ This really hurts.... I want an answer from her! But i can't force her then she will surely hate me.... I sure don't want her to hate me... Anyone but her....*sigh*"

"Erk! Why do i have a feeling that someone is staring at me?" i thought to myself and slowly turned around to see if Niel is staring at me. And without much surprise, i found him staring at me melancholically and maybe a little bit of jealousy.

"Wow! Why is he looking at me like that?! Aigo! I had enough of him staring at me! I'm going to confront him right now about this! This is so disturbing!" i thought to myself and opened my mouth to confront him when Misses Hino came into the class and asked

"Has everyone finished their essay?!"

"YES!" we all said in a chorus

"Good, then please hand them in now. I would like to read them and mark them" said Misses Hino

"Oh, well..... i suppose i'll have to wait till the right time comes" i thought to myself and handed in my essay
