My family and I just moved to China a weeks ago. We were now living in a small apartment with a translator app. School was gonna start in 20 minutes from now and I got onto the subway before I missed it.

Surrounded by people speaking a different language was weird, it made you feel like they had a greater advantage. My stop finally came and I got out of the subway. Fresh air was what I needed when I exited.

The school was just right there in the middle of the town. The building was quite big, and so was the hospital next to it. I walked into the building finding the main office.

Too embarrassed to say I couldn't speak chinese, I formed the best words to come out of my mouth. Feeling I pulled it off, she passed me a school map along with the map of the hospital next door.

I walked to my first class, Biology.

I slowly opened the door not to attract any attention, fail. Eye turned towards me, but slowly turned back, except for one.

I ignored the persons gaze and took a seat in the front. By the time I set my stuff down all the students came in cueing the bell. I chuckled at there scared faces, the teacher was already inside before the students, but brushed off there lateness.

Class was hard, basically because I couldn't understand the teacher so I tried my best to secretly snap a picture of each power point pages.

By the time class ended I was hungry. Class lasted till 1pm. I sighed grabbing my bag and walked out the door, I felt someone tap me on the shoulder and spoke chinese.

I turned around to see the boy that gazed at me when I walked in to the class room. He held a pencil that looked exactly like the one I had in class. "Ah..." I said motioning my hands saying he could keep it.

I didn't want to talk to him at all because I couldn't speak Chinese well, or at all. But he was quite the eye catcher.

He chuckled and looked down at his feet. He stood about 8 inches taller than me. Then he spoke in chinese, I'm not sure if I heard it wrong, but I'm pretty sure he said 'Lu Han'.
