The sea was calm as a young male was staring into the horizon. He was sitting on the rocks further from the shore as if running from the sanctuary of waves. He felt a soft breeze as he closed his eyes, listening closely. The sound of waves beating into the shore.. seagulls screaming.. he hummed tender melody as whole world around him began to disappear.

 

- Don’t you hear that music? The music of waves?
- I can’t..I can’t.. – he felt the tears slide down his cheeks. – Why should you go? Don’t leave me,please..!
- I wish you could hear what I do.. – the other had a dreamy expression on his face. – Then.. maybe then we could go together.. maybe then you wouldn’t be so scared. The sea.. it’s like a mother.

It felt as though the sea itself was singing. So warm and welcoming. Humming so gently and.. yes, indeed. So motherly. He felt so much love and it seems, the sea loved him back. There was no way it will hurt. No way.
 

 

- You’re going again? –there were two of them staring into the waves.
- Well, there’s a reason that my name is Donghae, huh? – one of them laughed answering.
- You know.. I think.. I heard. – these hazel eyes he loved and missed so much were fixed on him – It was.. beautiful.. but I don’t think.. I’m ready yet. – he felt the other hug him, arm on his shoulders.
- I guess.. Your heart is still a lighthouse. My only loving lighthouse.. – he put his head on the others shoulder. – But soon, the lighthouse will crumble and we’ll both be free just like those seagulls. So you just wait for me a bit. For the last time.
