Soojung stared at her wedding band, twirling the silver ring as she silently admires the diamond stone around it

“Soojung” a small smile formed on her lips as soon as she spotted her best friend, Choi Jinri, the one giant girl that always manage to act dorky and makes her laughs

“Hey Jinri” she smiled and sat down in front of her

“I haven’t seen you in the longest” Jinri pouted slightly, “have you been busy?”

“Yeah, been travelling here and there nowadays to accompany Joonmyun” she lied, faking a smile, “how are you and Chanyeol?”

Jinri noticed the sadness and the unsure look on her face, she knew that Joonmyun hasn’t been treating her well, in fact she knew that he is cheating behind her back with his child-hood friend that Jinri will forever hate, but nevertheless, she smiled, “we both are doing well and we are currently waiting for our little one’s arrival”

Soojung’s eyes widened, before a grin appeared on her face, “Oh my god, congratulations, you two!”

“Why don’t you divorce him then?” Jinri said, “I know, it’s kind of rude to suggest that. But still, he’s hurt you enough, Soojung. Aren’t you tired?”

“Because I love him,” Soojung said, feeling tears b on her eyes, “I love him so much, Jinri. And I feel so stupid”
