Description
into the midst of a brewing war, both internally and externally, Feiyan as the hired consort of the Wolf King is afraid of what's to come for her job. Even though the role she has been given seemed harmless, Feiyan is soon involved in the struggles between two kingdoms, conspiracy plots, court intrigue, lies and hidden secrets, and most of all, the Wolf King.
Can she fight through the deceptions and survive the danger of living in the royal palace?
And will love blossom during such treacherous times?

Note: Most of this story is FICTIONAL and has no historical basis, only the setting is historical as I've used Imperial China as background research. The countries and the people are of my own imagination. There will be a mixture of terms and such, so feel free to comment if you have any questions. Can't guarantee I'll have a fantastic answer but I can try. Haha.
Fun fact: Feiyan Zhao is an actual consort of Han Chengdi. But I just used her name - it means 'Flying Swallow'. :)
Edited A/N: I'm re-writing the chapters from the beginning again because I was unsatisfied with the timeline of events I had and the characterisation just didn't work well. So, I've changed it up and hopefully, this time it'll be better! To previous readers, I hope you guys will enjoy the new version better!
