Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, there lived a happy king and queen who had a very beautiful daughter named Sehuna. When Princess Sehuna was at the age of marriage, King Wufan and his wife, Queen Suha decided to search a good husband for their beloved daughter. They called all the princes of the land to come and prove if they are worthy enough for Princess Sehuna. However, the princess’s beauty was so renowned, it made too many suitors come from foreign lands to ask King Wufan for her hand in marriage. Therefore, the King proclaimed a contest with the reward of the beautiful princess’s heart. Each of the princes needed to bring along something that they thought was valuable from their kingdom as a wedding gift. Then Princess Sehuna would choose the gift that she thought was the best and marry that prince.

          Kai was the prince of a nearby kingdom called Greenland. He secretly had a huge crush on Princess Sehuna since he and his father had come to King Wufan’s kingdom for a meeting. This seems like a great chance for him to make his dream come true. However, he knew clearly that the king only wanted his daughter to marry a prince that can give her a good life. He was so sad and hopeless because in reality, his kingdom had nothing special, other than grass and trees. As he sat under a big, old banyan tree, crying his eyes out sullenly with sadness, a little fairy appeared in front of him.

          “Who are you and what are you?

          Why are you here and what do you want?” asked by the prince in surprise.      

          “I’m Xiumina and I’m the fairy of this banyan tree.

          I am here to help you because I know you will need me.” The little fairy answered.

Prince Kai looked at Xiumina happily. He was so glad at the presence of the little fairy, who was willing to help him and wanting nothing back in return. Xiumina flied up to the top of the tree then returned with a couple of seeds and gave them to the prince.

          “Here, my prince. These are the fairy seeds.

          Be the garden man and plant it near her room.

          Wait until it’s time then show her you’re the best one.” 

          After saying that, Xiumina disappeared. Prince Kai did as the little fairy told him. He packed up his stuff and said goodbye to his parents then made his way straight to Wufan’s kingdom. It did not take him long to reach there because Greenland was very close to Wufan’s kingdom. As soon as he got there, he pretended he was a wanderer. He asked the king’s old garden man to let him stay there, and in return, he will work for the old man. The old man accepted, so the prince stayed there and worked as a garden man. When the night came, Prince Kai secretly planted the fairy seeds near the princess’ room. 

          Day after days, the place where the prince planted the seeds now raised a large trees that consisted of many branches. Instead of leaves, flowers bloom all over the tree. The petals are pink and white in color and look like teardrops. It grew in such a rapid and magical speed that even made the prince surprised. The sweet smell of the trees made everyone that visited feel comfortable. Even the princess like this smell, every day she sat by the window, drank her tea and enjoyed the irresistible smell of the
