Kwon Yuri sighed, extremely bored.

She was at her best friend's house working on a school project.

"Ugh Sica, can we take a break? We've been working on this ever since school ended~!"

Jessica refused to take her eyes off of her work.

"Hold on Yul, I'm almost done. Why don't you grab a snack from the kitchen or something?"

Yuri smiled and eagerly got up from her working station.

She made her way happily towards the Jungs' kitchen.

"Hi Krystal, you just got home from school?"

Yuri greeted the younger Jung in the hallway.

Krystal smiled brightly.

"Hi Yuri-unnie, I didn't know you were here~"

"Me and Sica are working on a project. You guys got any food in the fridge?"

"Mhmm I made some pudding yesterday, help yourself!"

Yuri ruffled Krystal's hair and made her way into the kitchen.

She located the pudding in the fridge and began to dig inside it to look for a drink.

So caught up in searching for a snack, she didn't realize that another person walked into the kitchen.

"Unnie what are yo- who are you? And what are you doing in my kitchen?"

Yuri froze and turned away from the fridge.

She almost dropped her snack in shock.

There, right in front of her, was the most beautiful girl she had ever seen.

The girl had to be around her age.

Tall and slender, but still curvy in all the right places.

Her dark brown hair hung down straight to her shoulders.

The milky white skin was a beautiful contrast to the navy blue uniform she wore.

But what caught the black pearl's attention were the big round brown doe-eyes.

She lost herself in them immediately, gaping at the stranger.

"Ummm hello? Who are you? And what are you doing in my house?"

The doe-eyed girl was getting annoyed.

She had just come home from school and she was hungry for a snack.

And instead of finding something to satisfy her stomach, she found a stranger raiding her fridge.

Yeah, the shikshin was slightly annoyed.

As the two girls stood there awkwardly staring at each other, one in awe and the other in annoyment, the ice princess casually walked in.

"Yul, what's taking you so long?! I alread fini- Oh! Yoong, you're home!"

Yoona gave her elder sister a small smile.

"I just got home unnie. Who's this?"

The deer pointed at Yuri who was still staring at her dumbly.

Jessica giggled at her best friend.

"Keke this dork? This is Yuri, Kwon Yuri. She's my best friend. Yul, this is my younger half-sister Yoona."

Yoona held out a hand.

"It's nice to meet you Yuri-unnie, I'm Im Yoona. I'm sorry for yelling at you earlier."

She blushed and Yuri squealed slightly, fangirling.

"I get a little grumpy when I'm hungry."

"Uhh... um... I- Yuri- uh yeah... it's f-f-fine."

Yoona giggled softly at the dorky girl in front of her.

Jessica sensed a growing chemistry between them and grinned cheekily.

"Well anyway Yoong, Yuri and I will be up in my room. Holler if you need anything!"

Yuri let the ice-princess drag her away as Yoona shouted after them.

"It was nice meeting you Yuri-unnie!"

It wasn't until they both got up to Jessica's room that Yuri pulled herself from shock.

"OMG JESS!!! Since when did you have such a gorgeous sister?!?!"

Jessica chortled.

"I forgot you hadn't met her yet. She's quite famous in our school you know. The campus sweet heart..."

Yuri scoffed.

"Pfft... You know I don't pay attention to all that."

The ice-princess smirked at her best friend.

"Well then I guess it'll interest you to know that she is currently single~"

Ever since that afternoon, Yuri had made it a mission to find out everything about Yoona.

Jessica and Krystal had been pestered with Yuri's countless questions about their sister.

She memorized the deer's schedule and went out of her way to befriend the younger girl.

Of course Yoona wasn't blind to Yuri's advances.

She was perfectly aware that Yuri and her elder half-sister, Jessica, were their school's casanovas.

But she found the dorky efforts of the black pearl to be amusing.

Today Yuri had brought Yoona a single stemmed-rose and a soft plushy.

"Good morning Yoona-ah! How are you today my love?"

From the beginning of their "relationship" Yuri had made it perfectly clear that she wanted Yoona.

The younger girl on the other hand had also made it clear that she was not an easy woman.

After already 3 months of showering the deer with gifts, poems, and love songs, Yoona wouldn't even give Yuri one single hug.

But Yuri was not giving up. 

She showed patience and persistance, something that the black pearl was not particularly good at.

Yoona rolled her eyes at the flower and plushy.

"What you didn't go to Mr. Chae's flower shop today? He had some nice fresh white lilies..."

"No my love, white lilies are too plain in contrast with your beauty~"

A small group of people had gathered and squealed at Yuri's charming words.

However Yoona wasn't impressed.

"Whether it is plain or not, a lily takes time and effort to grow. It's the hard work and the sweat of a gardner that makes the flower beautiful. That rose isn't even natural; it's been dyed."

Yuri pouted but didn't give up.

"But I worked hard to pick out that flower. Doesn't that count?"

Yoona smiled.

"Nice try Yuri-unnie~. Anyway I have to go now. Bye unnie~"

"W-WAIT!!!!"

Yuri started to run after Yoona who had hurriedly began to walk away.

"Can I have a hug?"

Yoona gave Yuri a teasing wink.

"Impress me unnie, and I'll think about it~"

Yuri grumpily sat down next to her best friend.

Jessica laughed.

"Yoona rejected you again huh?"

The black pearl groaned and started to shove food into .

"What am I supposed to do to impress her Sica? I've done EVERYTHING!!!"

Jessica shrugged.

"Yoona likes simple and romantic. Stop buying her things and try for something heartwarming."

"What the heck is that supposed to mean?"

She groaned again and this time drained her carton of milk.

The ice-princess rolled her eyes.

"Well you can easily buy her a flower, but planting one and actually seeing it grows nicely is a different story. You put your own time and effort into it. It really comes from the heart... Yoona likes things like that."

Yuri frowned.

"But I'm a horrible gardner Sica! What am I supposed to do?!?!?"

Jessica laughed.

"Just think simple Kwon Yuri."

Yuri stared at her lunch.

"Simple..."

Jessica was in her room, reading a magazine when there was a knock on her door.

"Come in!"

It was Yoona.

"Hi unnie!"

"Oh hey Yoong, do you need help with some homework or something?"

Yoona shook her head.

"Ummm no... Actually I just wanted to ask you if something happened to Yuri-unnie. I haven't seen her in weeks..."

Jessica smiled at her younger sister.

"She's working on something. Why you miss her?

"N-No..."

Yoona blushed and hurriedly went back to her room.

The deer had just finished her homework for the night when her phone rang.

She was surprised to see that it was Yuri.

A month had already passed and Yoona had thought Yuri had finally given up.

Apparently she was wrong.

"Hello? Unnie? It's really late at nigh-

"Yoona-ah... please look outside!"

Yoona looked to her window and to her surprise, she found Yuri perched in a tree with her guitar.

She quickly opened the window.

"Oh my gosh unnie, what are you doing here?!"

Yuri brushed away some leaves from her hair.

She smiled at the girl in front of her.

"I know I haven't been showing up recently... But I've been busy working on something..."

The black pearl nervously cleared .

"I uh... *ahem*... I- I-... I wrote you a song... I really like you Yoona and this sums up how I feel for you... Please listen."

Yoona was shocked.

Her heart was going a mile per second and all she could do was nod.

Now both of them were shy and uneasy, it created a romantic atmosphere.

But it was Kwon Yuri and Im Yoona.

Obviously their love story wasn't as suave as a classic one...

The room was soon filled with awful guitar strumming and a howling out of tune voice.

Yoona cringed.

"Simply youuuuuu~

You are my dream~ my one and only girl~

I love you sooooo~!

Your doe eyeeeeees~

They make my heart race~!

But it's your voice that I really love~!

So please simply...

Be mine~!"

Yuri was blushing big time and she could barely lift her head up from her embarassment.

Yoona on the other hand was laughing so hard she couldn't breathe.

The deer was crying and only gasps of breath could be heard.

The black pearl's eyes shimmered with tears and she tried hard to hold them back.

"I-... I should go. I'm sorry Yoona. I won't bother you again..."

But before Yuri could leave, Yoona grabbed the black pearl's arm.

"Hahahaha.... w-wait! Where are you going???"

Yuri looked to her feet in shame.

"To go burry myself in a hole and never come out..."

Yoona eyed the embarassed girl, puzzled.

"Why on earth would you do that? I LOVED it! You were perfect!"

Now it was Yuri's turn to be puzzled.

"P-Perfect? Yoona, what are you talking about? My voice was out of tune, I couldn't remember the guitar chords, and my lyrics were horrible. I don't even know why I spent so much time practicing when it was an obvious failure from the beginning..."

Yoona giggled and pulled Yuri's face up so she could look at the adorable puppy-dog eyes.

"That's why! You didn't put up an act. You tried your very best to woo me with just... well... just you! You tried do something that is obviously not your strength, but you gave it your all. The song was definitely awful, but you... You were perfect!"

Yuri could not believe her ears.

She beamed happily, finally getting a good response from her crush.

"So does that mean... Can I have a hug?"

Yoona giggled.

The deer embraced Yuri tightly and they melded into each other's arm just right.

"You can do more than just hug me Yuri-ah~"

Yuri shivered at Yoona's voice directly in her ear.

"Does that mean your mine now Im Yoona?"

Yoona parted away from the crook of Yuri's neck.

She leaned in and planted a small sweet kiss on the black pearl's ruby lips.

"Does that answer your question?"

Yuri grinned foolishly.

"God... you kiss better than I imagined..."

With that Yuri captured the deer's lips once again.

And the two kissed the night away~
