“Marriage. What is marriage?"   The professor, with a thick eyeglasses, sincerely asked her dear students.

"Marriage... is a formal union of two people who deeply in love with each other. And it is more than just an agreement! it is a lifelong vow between a man and a woman to live together as husband and wife.”

as she go on with her lecture about marriage, there's this someone, at the far right corner of her class, busy drooling away in her sleep. 

“every couple considering marriage should deeply understand the real meaning of being married. One should be physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually ready."

The professor explained with so much emotions, snapping the whole class

"and when it comes on choosing the right time... it is different for each person and unique to each situation. Maturity levels and life experiences are varying factors; some people are ready for marriage at 18, and some are never prepared for it.”

professor Kim smiled dreamily while raising her pointer-stick in the air,

"and you know--" 

she then stopped when finally noticed that someone is not paying attention at all, but instead, the said student still had the guts to snooze out during her time period.

“ehem” 

she cleared out a little bit louder hoping to get the attention of that one brave lady.

“Miss…. Bae?”

the professor around her thirty’s irritably called Min Ah,

but not to avail, the young woman stayed still.

the whole class’ attention is now on them. Professor Kim is still trying to wake this said student through her laser stares but the brunette girl won’t budge at all.

when she had enough, she slowly went to Min Ah’s direction and slams her pointer-stick very hard in the lass' desk.

the girl woke up abruptly and raised her hand suddenly like wants to answer or something.

the whole class laughed loudly at the scene while the professor just tilted her head and arched a brow,

“yes Miss Bae, do you have anything to say?” she questioned,

“uhm… what’s your question again, seonsaengnim?” embarrassedly asked by the now confused Min Ah,

and the whole class, again, laughed at her. 

professor Kim immediately hushed them but also played along,

“oh yes, of course.. the question.. So Ms. Bae, what is marriage to you?”

“marriage… he he marriage…”

*holy crap*   The lass thought,

“marriage..…"  she paused, trying to rack an answer in her still-asleep-brain while scratching her head, 

"...is like offering half of your life to a possible enemy?”

*wait what?! is that even made sense?!*

*CRICKETS* 

*CRICKETS*

"What? Is that even made sense?!" one of the students broke the silence expressing his confused thought. All of them turned to Min Ah, expecting to explain her answer further,

"well.. yea. Thats my point. It's nonsense" 

the class, for the third time now, went into a laughing braganza

the brunette, on the other hand, couldn’t help but face palmed herself after realizing what she just said.

she picked at her seonsaengnim’s expression, and she couldn't even explain the expression of her face whether if she's angry or amused ; and it actually makes her nervous,

“shhhh! hey class! quiet! quiet!” seonsaengnim finally appealed to the laughing crowd.

Min Ah also tried to keep her other classmates to stop laughing by sending glare daggers into them.
