I nodded, although I knew that he could not see me.  “What do you want?”

“I was just calling because…I’m debuting.”

“Great.”

“Will you come to see me perform?”

I shrugged, again forgetting that we were simply speaking on the phone.  “Maybe.”

“Tell Mom and Dad for me?”

“Maybe.”

“Look, Jooyeon—”

“I’ll tell Mom and Dad.  Just don’t call back.”
