Wu Yi Fan or better known as Kris is the son of one of the multi billionaire in China . He is a cold guy who doesn’t care about his surrounding or any people . Well of course except his 5 other friends who he had known since he was 4 . Before that , he was a cold , mean brat . Even if he was 4 , he never talk to anyone nor treated anyone kind . He didn't have any manners nor warmness . Inside his heart is only fill with hatred . He never believe in love , he even thought that love is bulls . 

The reason was that ever since he was a 2 , his parent never care for him . Hell his parent also cheated with each other , not that they didn't know . They didn't do anything when either his mother or father brought home their own partner . Of course they didn't give a damn about their own personal business . Their marriage is also an arranged one . They only had Kris because his grandparents requested for it and after having Kris , they let him be . Being taken care by a babysitter .

Kris wasn't an innocent kid for his age . His parent's behaviour affected him even when he was a kid . People would have thought that every children will be happy but not for him . His days was filled with emptiness if his parent is busy with their work . If they came home , all that he heard was in the room .

When he met his friends for the first time , he gave every one of them the cold shoulder . He even ignore them and did his own business but slowly his friends did everything to break the walls that he built and they succeed . He only smile and laugh whenever he is with his friends . He felt the love and warmness from them and he swore that he won't leave them . He trusted them with his own life and he would die if they leave him .

He is sitting at the cafeteria with his friends . Eating . He notice that two of his friends were playing with their food , smiling and grinning like a freaking psycho .

“Can you guys stop smiling like a psychopath ?”

“Yeah . Can you guys stop doing that ? It’s freaking us out .” Lay said as he stab his salad and ate it .

“Who ?” Chen asked .

“You and Xiumin .” Tao said as he shuddered at the image of them grinning like a psychopath .

“We didn’t .” Xiumin said .

“You did .” Kris said while pointing his fork to them .

“Fine .” Chen said as he stab on his food .

"Did something happened ?" Luhan asked .

"Nope !" Chen and Xiumin answered instantly .

"Yeah right ." Luhan rolled his eyes and continued eating his food .

Kris finished eating as he pick up his tray , “I’ll be at the court if you need me .” He said to the others and throw the excess food in the bin . He went to the court as he walk passed by the tree , a scent caught his attention .

Apple mint ?

He look around as his eyes landed on a girl who had her earphones plug in with music blasting in her ears and her eyes shut closed . He couldn’t help but stare at the girl . He didn’t know why but he was observing her features .

Silky black-raven hair .

He didn’t know why but he wanted to feel how his fingers felt like to and brushes her hair .

Milky-white skin . It must be soft .

He wanted to feel how soft her skin against his fingertips . If anyone is seeing him right now , they must have thought him going insane as he was grinning like an idiot .

Pink thin lips .

He had the urge to place his lips on hers and he didn’t even know why . Her eyes fluttered open and he quickly averted his eyes to other places and went ahead to the court . By the time he pick up the basketball , the bell rang signalling that recess is over .

He groaned as he throw the basketball back in the basket full with balls . He grumpily walk towards his class where he met with his other friends .

“Why so grumpy ?” Tao asked as he slung his arm over Kris shoulder .

“I didn’t even get to play the basketball .” He grumble .

“You left us 30 minutes ago and you didn’t play not for once ?” Lay asked , shocked .

“30 minutes ?! You gotta be kidding me .” He said as he facepalmed his face .

I did not just stare at that girl for that long …

“What were you doing that you didn’t even realize the time and didn’t even play the basketball ?” Tao asked .

“I don’t know .” He said as he entered his classroom and went to his seat .

Who is she ? I never saw her before ..

All sorts of questions filled his mind .

Why is my heart beating furiously ?

He place his hand on top of his chest where his heart is . His heart is still beating furiously . He could feel his stomach doing somersaults . He was just thinking about her and yet the effect was something that he haven’t felt . He wonder what is wrong with him . Why is his heart being like that ? He questioned his self that he didn’t even notice his maths teacher coming in and starting the lesson .

As time flies by , school ended and he walk out of the class with his friends . Tao slung his arm on his shoulder .

“Dude , where on earth did your mind go during the class ?” Tao asked .

“Yeah . You were smiling and grinning like those two idiots .” Lay said as he pointed towards Chen and Xiumin who just came to them .

“Why are you pointing at us ?” Chen asked .

“They said that I was smiling and grinning like the both of you during the class .” He said .

“You were ?” Xiumin asked .

“Hell no !”

“Hell yes !” Tao said as he lightly punch Kris’s arm .

“He did ?!” Luhan asked .

"You didn't notice ?" Lay asked .

"No ." Luhan said .

“No I didn’t !” He said as he gave Tao a glare for punching his arm .

“He did . He was like ‘I’m not on earth now’ .” Lay said as he wave his hands in the air .

“Whatever guys .” He shrugged as he walk through the pathway back home .

“So mind telling us why were you smiling like them ?” Luhan asked as he pointed to the both of Chen and Xiumin .

“Nothing .”

“Yeah right .” Lay snickered .

“Hey , who’s up for ice cream ?” Chen asked as he saw an ice cream store .

“Me !” The five of them said together as they went into the store and bought ice cream for each other .

Kris was and eating his peppermint chocolate chip flavoured ice cream as he walk back to their houses with the rest. Even though he accepted them , he doesn't talk that much unless necessary . 

"So what are we going to do during the weekend ?" Chen asked as he place the spoon in his mouth .

"I have to meet up with my parent ." Lay groaned .

"Same here . There's a ball going on and they said I am needed ." Luhan said with gritted teeth .

"I'm free . We can go to the amusement park ." Tao said cheerfully and grinned at Chen .

"I don't have anything to do . I'll go with Tao just to keep him off trouble ." Xiumin said .

"I'm going to sleep and read my book ." He said as he unlocked the door to their house .

"You and your books ." Chen said as he entered the house right after Kris .

The house is a two-storey house with 6 bedrooms and a game room . Three bedrooms on the second floor and the other three is on the first floor . Kris , Luhan and Tao's room is on second floor while the rest is on the ground floor . Since the house was bought using Kris's parent's money , he can choose which room he wanted . His room is like any normal 20's man room . Even though he is only 13 , the design of his room is more suited for those who had work or in college . The reason being is that his mind wasn't set to enjoy life as a kid but more to an adult . That resulted to his cold facade .

"What to eat for dinner ?" Luhan asked as he sat on the couch in the living room .

"What do you guys want ?" Lay asked as he throw his bag on the floor and sat beside Luhan .

"If you asked us then - mffhakds mhpjmsh" Tao rub his palm together while saying but was cut off by Chen's hand on his mouth .

"Just cook anything ." Xiumin said before entering his own room .

"Yeah cook anything ." Luhan said and went upstairs with his bag to his room .

"Argh !" Chen yelped as he pull his hand off Tao's mouth and inspected his hand . "Huang Zitao !" 

"Who asked you to cover up my mouth ?" Tao scoffed as he went upstairs to his room .

"ing bastard ." Chen muttered .

"Watch your language !" Xiumin yelled from his room .

"How the hell did he hear that ?!" Chen groaned as he went to his room .

Kris chuckle at his friends before heading upstairs to his own room , "I'll help you cook today ." 

"Hell no . You're going to ruin the kitchen ." Lay said .

"Fine . Ask Xiumin to help you ." 

"That would do ." Lay smile and went inside his own room .

Kris shook his head in disagreement and went upstairs to his room . He places his bag at his study table and start to ed his shirt . His mind wandered back to the girl that he saw .

He couldn't help but smile every time he recalled back how she look like . His heart beat like there's no tomorrow . Somersaults was felt inside his stomach . 

There goes again . What is this feeling ?

He couldn't understand what is going on with him . His mind is in deep thoughts as he let the warm water fell on his body . He didn't even hear Chen calling for him outside of his room .

*knock knock*

"Kris ! Dinner's ready in 5 !" Chen yelled .

"Coming !" He said as he turn the shower off and dried his body . He wrapped a towel around his waist as he took another towel and dried his hair before placing it around his neck . He stood in front of the mirror as he stare at his own reflection . 

Who are you actually for making me feeling like this ?

He questioned his self as another knock was heard from his bathroom door .

"Kris hurry up !" This time it was Luhan who yelled .

He went to the door and opened it . He blankly stare at Luhan , "Impatient brat ." 

"Yeah whatever . Just hurry up or the food will be gone in no time ." Luhan shrugged and went out of his room .

Kris went to his closet and throw his white t-shirt and black sweatpants on the bed . He wore his boxers and took his clothes that is on the bed and wore it . He then went out of his room just to see his friends eating without waiting for him .

"Why didn't you wait for me ?" He groaned .

"You're late and this idiot won't stop whining ." Chen said as he pointed towards Tao who only grinned at him and made a peace sign .

"So what took you so long ? It's unusually you ." Luhan said as he pick up the vegetable with his chopsticks and place it in his mouth .

"Something ." He said as he pulled out the chair and sat . "Anyway , does the school has a new student ?"

"I think so because I heard some boys whispering about a girl ." Lay said .

"I think you meant our new classmate then ." Chen said as he place a spoon of rice with some beef .

"So the girl is your classmate ?" Tao asked and Chen nodded .

"But isn't it kinda late for someone to enter our school ? Since you know how our school is only for the rich people ." Luhan said .

"I heard that she's the daughter Macron Corporation ." Lay said .

"No way ! That company is in the top 5 and the president is in the top 10 richest person in the world !" Luhan yelled .

"Yes way ." Lay said while sipping on his soup .

"Wait . How did you know that Lu ?" Tao asked .

"Mom forced me to learn about them so that I can surpass them ." Luhan shrugged .

"You're just 13 , what can you do ?" Chen said .

"I don't know about that but my father asked me to do that too ." Kris said .

"Well I think all of us does ." Xiumin said as he stood up from his seat and took his dishes to the sink .

"I don't ." Tao said .

"Idiot . Of course you don't . Your parent is in the top 3 ." Kris said as he knock Tao's head with his spoon .

"Ouch ! That hurts ." Tao said as he rub his head .

"I'll be in my room if you need anything ." Kris said as he took his dishes and place it in the sink .

"Aren't you washing it ?" Chen asked .

"Nope ." He answered as he went upstairs

"Ignorant bastard ." Chen muttered as he went to the sink with his dishes .

"I heard that !" He yelled as he gave Chen a glare before disappearing .

"It was meant for you to hear it !" Chen yelled and stuck his tongue out at Kris .

Kris ignored Chen's comment and went to his room . He went to his book shelves as he took the book that he started to read a week ago . He laid down on his bed and wore his spectacles as he start to flipped the pages to where he last left . Slowly his eyelids starts to get heavy and fatigue came in . His eyes shut closed as his book fell off his hands and laid on his chest .

Ever since that day , he had finished his food quicker and head to the basketball court . He would pass by the tree and took a sniff of her scent . He would always took small glances at her and she would either be taking a nap while listening to music or reading a book while listening to some music . He would catch his self , smiling every time he saw her giggling at something that she read or when her eyebrows furrowed at something that she read . His heart would hurt and he could feel his stomach forming knots when a tear rolled down on her cheeks . He didn't know why would she be crying even when she was asleep but that hurts him . 

He also thought about talking to her but it would be interrupted with the bell ringing . He would groaned and wonder how come the time flies by so fast . There would be days where she didn't come to school and that worried him . His mind wouldn't stop wondering or worrying about her . Beads of sweats would appear on his forehead when he overthink about her and worrying about her like did she caught a fever or did something bad happened when she's on her way to school . His friends notice the changes in him and whenever they asked him about it he would just say "You guys are delusioning." 

Kris knew that he had change ever since he laid his eyes on her and he didn't care about it . He wanted to get to know her . He wanted to know her name . He wanted to feel how his tongue rolled when he said her name . He wanted to hear her calling out his name . He wanted to make her his . He wanted to hold her in his arms . He wanted her to rely on him . He wanted her to share her sadness and happiness with him . He is sure that she's the one . The one that he will spend the rest of his life with . People might thought what a mere 13 year old boy is thinking about marriage and the love of their life but he couldn't care less about what people thought and if he could he wanted to make her his right now and there .

Three years passes by and this year he can finally look at her for a long time rather than just during the recess time . He went inside his classroom and sat at the back of the class . Tao sat beside him while Xiumin and Luhan sat in front of them and Chen and Lay took the seat in the middle . He was staring out of the class mindlessly thinking about her . He haven't know her name yet despite those years that he spent , looking at her secretly during recess . 

I wonder if she's in the same class as mine this year . 

Right at that moment the door of the classroom was opened and came in her . The girl that took his heart and mind away . As he turn his head at the door , his eyes stuck on her . The way she walks and the way she smile just makes him fall even deeper . The way her voice and laughter sounded is just music to his ears . He couldn't stop staring at her . He couldn't believe that she's actually in the same class as her .

"Who is she ?" He heard Luhan asked Xiumin .

"Lee Anna . You remember the girl that we talk about three years ago ? She's the daughter of Macron Corporation ." Xiumin answered .

Lee Anna ... 

"S-she's beautiful .." Luhan stuttered as his eyes couldn't leave her . 

Stop staring Lu ! 

"Why are you glaring at Luhan ?" Tao whispered .

"I'm not ." He said through gritted teeth as his hands formed to fists .

He didn't know why but he felt like killing Luhan when he saw how Luhan look at her . He knew right then and there that he's not the only one who fall for her . He didn't want to fight with his best friend , especially if it's regarding a girl but he can't help it if it's regarding her . The girl that took his breath away with her every action . He knew that if he wanted her , he have to make the first move before Luhan does and that means he would have to talk to her .

Three months passes by and he knew that he should make a move fast before Luhan does . He had to if he wanted to make her his and so as his best friends gathered at the living room . He went to them and sat beside Xiumin .

"Guys , I noticed that none of us actually talk to Anna ." He started as his friends started to focus on him instead of the tv .

"And what are you trying to say ?" Xiumin asked as he ate his chips .

"I'm going to talk to her tomorrow . Are you guys going to follow me or not ?" He asked .

"I'm in ." Tao said as his focus returned back to the tv .

"Same here ." Lay said and took the bag of chips from Xiumin .

"Whatever . I'm okay with it ." Chen shrugged as he stood up and head upstairs . "I'm going to bed earlier ." 

"Fine with me ." Xiumin said as he snatched back the bag of chips from Lay and gave him a glare . 

When Luhan doesn't say anything yet , all of them look at him .

"What ?" Luhan asked .

"Are you in or out ?" Lay asked .

"Of course I'm in ." Luhan replied . He yawned as he got up , "I'm going to bed now . Goodnight guys ." He then went upstairs to his room .

"I'll be in my room if you guys need anything ." Xiumin said as he brought the bag of chips with him  to his room .

"He could at least leave the chips here ." Lay muttered as he got up and went to kitchen to take another bag of chips .

"I'll be in my room then ." Kris said as he went inside his room .

That night , Kris fell asleep with excitement and anticipation . He even dreamt about her . They were at his backyard as she enter the forest and he followed her . Her laughter rang around , making him smile . He chases her as she slowly ran deeper inside the forest . She was about to tripped a trunk when he catches her and swiftly turn her around to face him . She is finally his . She giggle as she stand on her tip toes and peck his lips . He smile and lean in to kiss her when the sound of his alarm clock woke him up .

He grumpily woke up and shut the clock off . Rubbing his eyes as he went inside his bathroom to get ready for school . He could hear the sound of cooking utensils clashing against each other and the smell of pancakes . He took a quick shower and wrapped the towel around his waist as he stood in front of sink , brushing his teeth and then washes his face . He went out of the bathroom and wore his uniform . He stood in front of his mirror and style his hair up .
