Description

Even if he survived, he doubted things would ever be the same. With the heated burn of his muscles contrasting with the outside cool, he didn't quite know how to feel: Numb on the inside and out, he forced himself to endure the bitter wind, the recurring images, and the terrible webs of fraught anxiety spinning, in their solemn rhythm of left and right, in his heart.

The cold was only outstripped by his fear.

Foreword

Mad uncle killer, Taemin scared, inspired when I was playing hide-and-seek in the snow... I think that's all you need to know. This is an entry for open the box, Round Two. I... I don't know what I was writing, this was scrawled out in a rush, really... Nonetheless, enjoy!

I don't understand why you have no comments, this is such a beautiful piece. It is deep, dark and twisted story that really made my heart beat as one with the character's (I sound weird there don't I?).
Your use of rich vocabulary is very impressive and the dark theme that you've managed to weave in this story is just very highly commendable and I think you deserve more readers because no one knows how much they are missing out if they aren't reading this.
Well, I better not talk too much, the rest is at the review shop for you :)
