The rain-drops fell down like bullets, they ricochet off the solid ground and into the thin air. Under her translucent umbrella, Soo Jung squint her eyes, blinded by the light of an oncoming car. It happened so fast. She felt no pain. Everything is pure white before it was silence. But then she heard a voice. It was a woman’s voice.

“This is not your time. It’s mine.” It was repeated in loud whispers.

“I need your help.”

What? What help?

“I need you to do me a favor.”

I don’t know. I don’t think I can… A terrible pain struck her right through her brain.

Ah! Stop it! It hurts! She wanted to cry from the sudden attack.
