Seashells.
Walking next to you and holding your hand is the love of your life, Changjo.
"I love how there's only us two over here." you said.
Changjo chuckled.
The both of you walked along the circumference of the sea, feeling cool seawater washing up your feet and then retreating back into the sea, welcoming another small wave to wash your feet again.
"What are you planning to do tomorrow?" he asked.
"Probably some drama marathon? Since you're not here with me tomorrow." you pouted.
"I promise to be back after my schedule alright?" he said.
You ignored him and squated down to pick up a little seashell.
"Omo this is so pretty." you mumbled, observing the little seashell.
Changjo smiled and took it from you hand.
You looked up at him in surprise as he put it into his pocket.
"What are you doing?" you asked him.
"You said its pretty didn't you?" he answered and walked away.
You thought for a moment and finally gave up.
"Ya Jonghyun! Wait for me!" You shouted as you ran to catch up with him.
You watched as Changjo squated down on the floor like you did just now.
He picked up another seashell from the sand and put it in his pocket.
You find it fun so you helped look for pretty seashells too.
Changjo look back at you and smiled.
You blushed and looked back down. Changjo walked his way beside you and pecked your cheeks.
"Ya...." you mumbled. Changjo ruffled your hair and draped his arm over shoulder as the two of you walked along.
You shyly looked away and saw the sky turning a light shade of orange.
"The sunset!" you excitedly exclaimed.
Changjo and you stopped in track.
"Let's sit down and watch it." he said. You nodded and followed him.
The both of you settled down on the white sand, sitting close with each other.
Changjo placed his hand on your waist as the both of you watched.
The sun goes down slowly and from the sea surface, the both of you can see half of the setting sun.
You leaned your head back and lay on Changjo's shoulder.
Hoping this moment will last forever.
"Oh right, let's take a photo!" he said and took out his phone from his pocket.
The both of you posed as you heard the snap sound of Changjo's phone.
Changjo looked at the photo and smiled.
"Let's go back home." he said.
The next morning, you woke up and Changjo wasn't beside you anymore.
You made your way down the stairs and sat down on the dining table.
Breakfast was already prepared and you saw something rectangular wrapped nicely with a note on top.
You took the note and read it out, "Annyeong baby! I have to go to work early but I'll be back soon! Here's something for you! Love you! ♥"
You smiled and removed the wrapper of the present.
You gasped in surprise, it is a handmade photo frame made with the seashells the both you picked up at the beach!
And the photo in the photo frame is the one the both of you took at the beach too.
You grinned happily and hugged it close to your chest.
