love varies for different people.

to some, love is dancing, going on adventures, discovering new things. to others, love is reading, painting portraits and capturing beautiful moments with their digital single-lens reflex camera.   however, to kris wu, love is 168cm of snow white skin wrapped around bones, hugging them in all the right places. love is sparkling wide eyes and glossy pink lips. love is sweet potatoes and keroro. love sings on nights where the stars shine the brightest. when love is angry, love exhales air through her nose. when love is happy, love dances gracefully on her two dainty feet, humming a melodious song. love is a prodigy that everyone admires. love always goes by the books.    currently though, love is staring straight into his eyes - her eyes sparkling with determination and wait, is that a hint of mischevousness? - as she whispers,   "run away with me."         seohyun knows that it is not morning anymore when her stomach starts to grumble. the soft chuckle from behind her and the warm arm that is wrapped around her waist reminds her that she is not alone. she takes in a deep breath before finally opening her eyes.    "morning, sunshine," the deep, husky voice greets her as soon as she turns around in kris' hold.    still slightly groggy, seohyun mumbles a reply and puckers her lips slightly, in which kris returns with a quick peck.     "did you have a good night's sleep?" kris asks while brushing a strand of hair out of seohyun's forehead. cheesy as it may be, to him, seohyun is still beautiful even when she just woke up.    "well," she begins, with a slight grimace on her face, "you can say that? i mean the bed isn't the comfiest-"   the bed definitely was not the comfiest. in fact, she thinks she might suffer from backache if they had to stay at the motel for another night. thank God they have decided to change motels.   "hey, you wanted this, alright," kris protests, as though seohyun stating that the bed was not the comfiest is his fault.   "i didn't say anything," she replies calmly, before continuing, "anyway, i still had a good night's sleep. want to know why?"   kris raises a brow, not bothering to answer and seohyun just rolls her eyes. after being with kris for almost four years, she knows how kris was the type to not talk unless necessary.   "because you're here."   kris crinkles his nose, which made seohyun pinch his nose lightly in return. "hey, i'm supposed to be the cheesy one here. not you."   "i have my moments too."         "so, where to next?" kris asks as he drives out of the town they overnight at, with no definite destination in mind.   seohyun takes out the map out of the compartment in front of her. while she looks at the map, kris slows down and gently places his right hand on her thigh, playing with the frills of her shorts. it has been almost a week since their great escape - as seohyun would put it - but kris still is not used to the type of clothing seohyun has decided to put on during their escape. she said, "it's good for a change." kris was too used to seohyun's normal wear of summer dresses and mid-length skirts topped with a blouse, finishing it off with a pair of flats. it was not like kris did not like seohyun's new style of wearing muscle tank paired with a pair of denim shorts, together with her red converse high cuts. why would he not; the shorts did showcase her long, lovely legs. but he did not like how men look at her legs with their beady eyes each time they walk into town.     "we can go to-" seohyun stops midway when she feels kris the soft skin of her inner thigh. she smirks slightly when she notices how kris does not even realise what he was doing.    "you so like me wearing shorts," seohyun finally says after staring at his side profile. it was not her fault that she has a boyfriend who could practically make a living as a model.   "hm, what?" kris says as soon as the words left seohyun's mouth.   seohyun diverts his attention to her thighs with her eyes. kris' eyes widened slightly and immediately removes his hands but he was a little slow because seohyun grabs his hands to place it back on her thighs.   "i like it," she says, a soft smile on her face.   kris raises his brows and smirks at her.
