Prologue
Two PrincesHundred years has passed. Finally, North and South Korea had settled their differences and conflicts upon agreeing to the conditions of both parties. One of the two conditions was the transition of the democratic government to two constitutional monarchies. The transition happened after twenty-five years.
On March 15, 2238, there was a nomination of the families who were qualified to be the first two monarchs. These families were the most influential or those who had a huge contribution to both regions. Families who were nominated for the north kingdom were the Jung family who had the greatest contribution in the field of business and economics, the Cha family who had the most contribution in the field of agriculture, and lastly, the Han family who had the most political experience. As for the south kingdom, the nominees were the Lee family who had the greatest contribution in music and entertainment, the Kim family who had the greatest influence in the field of technology, and the Choi family who had the most influence in the field of science and medicine.
After almost three months of careful consideration, the citizens of both regions casted their votes and on May 24, 2238, the official result was announced. The first monarch of the north after the transition was the Jung family and the first monarch of the south after transition was the Lee family.
