Distance. That's what he thought they needed. To break her heart. That's what he thought he could do. To let her go. That's what he thought was for the best.
But little did he know how much he had actually hurt her. He had played her.
She vowed to never open herself up to avoid that agonizing pain again. He had made her think the worst of the world. To never trust, always assuming the worse in people. He had scarred her.
The stinging memories painted the inside of their minds, never leaving either one of them alone.
Being handsome, Luhan had always got whatever he wanted with the snap of his fingers. But when things don't go as planned, is that when he finally gets a reality check? Will he ever learn his lesson, that he can't act so selfishly?
It's for the best. Was his decision back then really all for the better?
