The Yakuza Prince

Misa and the Yakuza Prince

Misa was going back home by train when she saw this man staring at her the entire time. He was quite handsome but there was something about him that didn't appeal to her. He just wasn't her type. She got down one stop earlier to catch a bus, when she noticed him get off too. She suddenly felt uncomfortable and put on her headphones to listen to music. Throughout the bus ride, he kept smiling at her. She felt thankful once she reached her stop, and she got off the bus and started walking. He caught up to her and asked her if he could speak to her for just two minutes. Being sweet, Misa agreed. The man suddenly grabbed her hand and said, 'I very much like you. Would you have dinner with me?'. She struggled like a wildcat to escape his tight grip, when he spotted an alley. He pulled her with him, pushed her against the wall and said, 'Atleast kiss me before you go'. She agreed and loosened his grip, which made her push him and run as fast as she could, only to bump into a man holding a guitar. She turned around to find the Yakuza from the bus following her. She pleaded with the other man to help her, when he pulled her behind him. He faced that Yakuza and said, 'Dad, aren't you too old for this now?' Misa looked at him in shock as he went on to say, 'Dad, if you keep running behind beautiful girls, who will rule the country?' That creepy man was a king? Misa was horrified to think that the handsome stranger was a Yakuza too. She looked all around to find a path to run to, but some of her panic must have reached the prince as he suddenly s his arm around her waist. This man's close proximity made her blush; she tried to get away, but he didn't let go of her waist at all. She got angry and said, 'Yakuza, you had better let me go before I call the cops'. The Yakuza prince simply smiled, caressed the side of her face and said, 'Try it. They are all under my control. Just as you will be. By the way, I do have a name. Call me Yamapi'. He was incredibly handsome, but Misa really had to get home, so she stomped on his foot and ran. Yamapi watched her run, and smiled to himself. She would soon realise that she needed him. She was just too adorable for words; like a little timid mouse. Misa reached home to find the door half open. Filled with foreboding, she walked inside. Her house was ransacked and there was no sign of her parents. She ran up to her room, to see if they were there. She whipped out her phone and called her mother. A strange man picked up the phone and informed her that her parents were safe. If she ever wanted to see them again, she had to take her research notes, and meet the leader of the gang Sumiyoshi-kai, Kazuo Taoka. Misa found out that Yamapi's father was the leader of the Yamaguchi-gumi, but she was hesitant to ask him to help her. What would happen to her parents if she went to the rival gang for help? On the other hand, her research notes were also important, and she had no copies of them. She first went to the photocopy shop and took ten copies of the pages. Then, she went to her friends' homes and gave each of them a copy, just in case anything happened. As she walked back home, her phone rang. It was the same person as earlier; he asked Misa to meet with Kazuo Taoka in Osaka the following day. The man informed her that she had to take the Tokaido Shinkansen from Tokyo. Her ticket had already been paid for, and she would travel in one of the 'Green cars'. If she informed the police, her parents would surely be killed. She walked around aimlessly, trying to figure out what she should do, when she saw Yamapi. Yamapi was arm wrestling with one of his friends when he spotted Misa walking around with a hunted expression on her face. He wanted to crush her against his broad chest, her hair and tell her that everything would be alright. What she didn't know was that it was partly his fault that this had happened. When his father had met Kazuo Taoka to split their territories, Yamapi had gone too. He had heard members of the Sumiyoshi-kai plotting to kidnap some researcher's family to force them to destroy their research. He didn't know that they were talking about his Misa. Now, he had a chance to save her family and prove himself to her. Misa was surprised when he approached her and took her hand saying, 'Misa, we need to leave now. You have to trust me.' How could she blindly trust someone she had met only twice? It seemed like he was her only hope. He knew all of the men involved, so he may be able to convince them to let her parents go. She agreed to travel with him (for safety's sake, ofcourse). Yamapi was ecstatic. It was amazing that Misa trusted him enough to travel all the way with him. Perhaps he would be able to convince Kazuo Taoka to spare her life. Misa felt comforted by the fact that he was right there with her. As soon as they entered their compartment, some of the passengers smiled at Yamapi, while others looked at him with fear in their eyes. Misa looked frightened, so Yamapi took out his guitar and played 'One Fine Spring Day', which was the most soothing song he could think of. Misa was tired, and quickly fell asleep with her head on his shoulder. She was just so beautiful. He wished he had met her earlier, and in better times. If only he could be with her, but would she accept the heir to the largest crime family in Japan? Only time would tell. His priority was to save Misa and her family from the Sumiyoshi-kai. He had to think fast, as there were just a few hours left for them to reach Osaka. He called Kazuo Taoka to tell him that he wanted to discuss something that would prove useful to the family. Taoka asked him to come to Osaka as soon as he could. Now, he could say that he had met Misa on the way there. Though she tried to put up a brave front, he could feel how frightened she was. No matter how much she tried to pretend, he could see the fear in her eyes. She told him all about herself, from the very beginning. Music had always made her feel happy; he was glad that he had brought his guitar along with him. He would protect her till the end, even if it meant his death. He was ready to leave everything for her. They reached Osaka, and Misa felt really scared. Yamapi knew the way around and he promised her that he wouldn't let anything happen to her. Feeling reassured, she asked him to take her to meet Kazuo Taoka. She just couldn't keep wondering what he had done to her parents. As soon as they had reached the headquarters, Yamapi told Misa to search for her family while he kept Taoka and his men busy. Misa had to be very quick, and check every single room in the building. The first three rooms she checked were empty; the room at the end of the corridor seemed suspicious. She opened the door silently, to find her parents tied to two chairs. There was a man holding a gun, but she wasn't afraid. She silently creeped into the room, picked up a paperweight, and brought it down on the man's head. She freed her parents, and tied up the man before he gained consciousness. Her parents were glad to see her, and they told her to escape quickly. Misa hugged them and told them to leave the country. She wouldn't be able to stand it if something happened to them because of her. Her parents were filled with grief as their daughter wanted them to go without her. She promised them that she would be safe, and find a way out of the mess. As soon as they left the building, she boldly walked to a guard and asked to see Taoka. His men grabbed her and brought her in front of an old man. He introduced himself as Kazuo Taoka and asked her if she had remembered to bring her notes with her. He took them from her, tossed them into the fireplace and watched them burn. Meanwhile, Yamapi had been looking for Misa when he heard the sound of Taoka yelling. He ran into a room just to find her research notes being burnt. Taoka smiled evilly and said, 'My dear, I know you wanted to change the world with your research, but if you cannot create superhumans for us, then you won't create them at all. You tried to escape from us when we contacted you before, so you will die for your foolishness'. He took out a gun and pointed it at Misa's forehead. She closed her eyes and braced herself for the pain. She heard a 'bang', but felt nothing. She opened her eyes to find Yamapi holding a gun. Taoka was on the floor, dead. He then proceeded to shoot all the men in the room. He grabbed Misa and told her to run. The rest of the men surrendered and promised him their loyalty. Yamapi was so afraid that he would lose her, but now they could finally be together. He looked deep into her eyes and said, 'Misa, before I met you, I never realised how empty my life was. I cannot imagine a life without you in it. You complete me. I want to grow old with you. Would you do me the honor of becoming my wife?'. Misa was stunned. How could she live with someone who would soon be the leader of a criminal organization? Misa and the Mafia boss? It was obvious that she had feelings for him, but would she be able to cope with that kind of lifestyle? Yamapi noticed little frown lines appear on her forehead as she thought about what he had said. Her breath caught in her chest as he suddenly grasped her waist and pulled her towards him. He then kissed her forehead, cheeks, nose and neck before finally moving to her lips. His kisses were so tender and filled with promises, that Misa thought she could get used to his 'job' if he continued to kiss her like that. He excited her, and brought out so much passion from within. Yes, this handsome Yakuza had stolen her heart.

A few months later:

Misa looked radiant in her white gown. She carried a bouquet of lilies, which were her favourite flowers. Yamapi stood with the priest, as he waited for her to walk down the aisle. His heart started racing as he saw her walking towards him with a beautiful smile on her face. She looked so beautiful and she was finally going to be his. The priest blessed them and said, ' I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride'. They were finally together. Yamapi and Misa Tomohisa.
