It was nearing 1am by the time Athena finally started on her way home. Mrs. Kim insisted that she take home food to eat before she left, so she wouldnt have to cook when she got home.

The humid Mid-August air greeted her like a brick wall the second she step out of the Kims resturant. Without a second thought she pulled off her thin grey hoodie to reveal a plain white wifebeater that she was wearing under it. It may have been 1am but that didn't make the mugginess go away. 

*Uggh I Just need to get home at least there I have AC* She thought to herself. She held the delicous smelling food closer to her bosy and started to pick up the pace, wanting to get home faster. 

Once she was halfway home she felt her phone in her pocket start to vibrate, she reached in and grabbed it realizing it was a call and not just a text.

"Hello?"

"Athena !! Where are you right now !?" It was her friend Kevin calling her, she had totally forgot she was supouse to meet a small group of friends at a club to celebrate Kevin's girlfriends new job,

"Ah Kevin, i completely forgot, I just got off work and I'll be home in 5 minutes, I'll change and go straight there !"

"You better get here in 30 minutes ! Everyone has been waiting for you !"

"I'll be there soon! Bye!" Athena said and hung up, knowing if she stayed anylonger that Kevin, one of her bestfriends since she was 15, would chew her out for not meeting them on time.

Soon Athena was walking into her Apartment building and heading to the elevators. *ugh what am I going to wear?* She thought to herself and mentally scanned through her closet as she entered the elevator and started to ascend to the 12th floor.

Once the Elevator door dinged open she rushed to her Apartment, unlocking the door. Once inside she quickly put the for away in the fridge, and walked to the bathroom to take a quick shower, because she reeked of  a odd mixture of korean food and sweat. After the quick shower, she made a run for it to her closet, trying to think of what to wear *hmm well it is a club right? But I'm there to celebrate Kim's new job... I'll just wear this one !* SHe thought to hrself as she pulled out a simple black dress. She threw her towel on the floor, put on her 'underthings' and slipped on the black dress. She then walked to her vanity and re-applied eyeliner and mascara, redefined her eyebrows, and put on a light pink/ color lipstick and called it good. She ran a bit of product through her mid chest length curly hair, but being wary if her hair would just expand into a frizzy mess due to the humity in the air, she opted to pull it up into a casual bun, letting certain pieces fall out. Before she walked out of her room to leave, she gave herself the once over in the mirror. 

Her dress fit her well, excentuating her subtle curves, the scoop neck showed off her feminine collar bone, The hem of her dress landed slighty longer then mid thigh, showing off her long carmel color legs. She walked out of her room, grabbing her purse and phone off the kitchen counter, slipped on a pair of ballet flats and made her way to the club, calling Kevin to let him know she was leaving her house.

After 15 minutes of walking she got to the entrance of the club and walked in.

The music there was blasting so loud and it was so crowed it was hard to walk. Kevin told her over the phone earlier where to go once she got inside, knowing that it was a fridday night, it was obvious that the place would be packed.

"Athena! You made it !" A cute  short vietnamese girl said as she pried herself off the couch to give her a hug,

"I did ! I'm sorry that I'm so late Kim !" Athena said while returning Kim's hug,

"Don't worry about it! It's not the end of the world !" Kim said as she giggled, it was obvious that she already had a few drinks,

With that Athena sat down in the circle booth and greeted the her other friends that were there.

Athena started talking to one of Kim's friends that she never met before. Apparently he was a friend of hers that helped her get her job. He kept downing drinks as he was talking to Athena, and getting more obnoxious,

"Hey do you want to dance?" He asked her, but before she could say No, he grabbed her hand and pulled her to the dance floor.

Dancing at clubs is NOT one of the things Athena would consider as fun. She did not enjoy the idea of a bunch of sweaty people all grinding wit eachother, it reminded her more of a clothed and she wanted nothing to do with it. She looked over to find that all the girls here were scandally dressed in dresses so short you could see the bottom of thier , she inwardly cringed,

"Come on baby," Kim's friend said in her ear as he pulled her close and putting her hands on her low, low, low back. She tried to push off of him but he just held her closer, and started to sawy them back and forth to the rythem of the music, she cringed at his closeness and trid again to push him off but he once again tighted his grip and held her closer, ignoring her pleas to let go.

On the other side of the club, sat Daehyun and his friends. Clubs weren't nessesarily his favorite thing to do, but Himchan and Yongguk Hyung wanted to. Daehyun looked around and saw girls sitting on Hif Hyungs laps, he rolled his eyes and scoffed at the looseness of the girls and how easily Yongguk and Himchan got them. Youngjae  left to go find the bathroom, while Daaehyun was sitting with Zelo and Jonggup.

"Yah Daehyun Hyung! Isn't that Athena Noona over there ?" Zelo said pointing, At this, Daehyun followed Zelos gaze to see Athena being dragged to the dance floor by some guy. His eyes never left her as he witnessed the guy throw his arms around her, and how she struggle to get free. Thid bothered him. He got up from his seat and started walking over to her.

Athena struggled and wiggled trying to get out of the deathgrip this guy had her in *UGh this is why I hate clubs!* she thought to her self.

"Hey, let go of her," She turned her head to the right to see Daehyun standing there, commanding the creep to let her go. Her heart started to pump unhmanly fast, seeing him here, made her body flood with nerves and excitement.

"YAH, I SAID LET HER GO" Daehyun yelled again, this time putting his arms on Athenas shoulders pulling her tward him,

"And why should I?" The guy slurred back, the effect of the alchol clearly starting to take hinder his speech.

"Because she's mine, " Daehyun answered back, prying the guys hands off of Athena, and wrapping his own arm around her waist, to secure that she was safe. At this Athenas face grew red, It didnt matter if she was  tan,  the blush could be clearly seen, He heart almost exploded when she heard him claim her as his and when she felt his arm wrap around her waist like that. *Oh my god is this really happening? I'm dreaming right? I must have fell asleep when i got out of the shower, this cant be real* Athena thought to her self. She didn't even realize that Daehyun had lead her away to a less crowded area away from the creep.

"Wow the nerve of that guy !" Daehyun said visible  a bit angered from the way they guy was holding her, and how he refused to let go,

"But are you okay? He didn't actually hurt you right?" Daehyun said looking to you with concern.

"N-n-n-no I-I'm, I'm fine, Thank you Daehyun, for ssaving me from that guy" Athena said, Daehyun just smiled in response  saying ' No problem'  He looked down and his face grew red from realizing  his arm was wrapped around her waist still. Before he pulled his arm away he couldn't help but notice how perfectly she fit into his hold. *Aish Daehyun what are you thinking now? You've just met her a few days ago and you're already thinking these thoughts Aish byuntae*

Daehyun scratched the back of his head and cleared his throat,

"Where are your friends? I'll walk you back to them," Daehyun said, with his face still red,

"Ah, no ,no it's ok * I dont want to burden you* I'm just going to grab my purse then i'm leaving anyway" Athena said , 

"Clubs aren't really my thing anyway"

"Ohh Let me take you home then !" Daehyun said without thinking, his ears turning red, once he realized how that could have been inturpreted

"It's okay Daehyun, really,  I can walk, I don't live that far away from here, really it-"

"No I insit, it. Come on lets go get your things, then i'll take you home," Daehyun said while smiling a charming smile. Athena couldn't refuse, with a nodd, she started to walk back to where her friends were to  grab her purse. Once she got to the booth there was only Kevin and Kim sitting there, face like there was no tomorrow. She grabbed her purse and yelled Bye to the couple, Kevin only raised his hand, to show  he was busy. Athena sighed and chuckled at the scense , remembering when they first met how shy they were to even hold hands.

"My car is this way," Daehyun said, while grabbing Athenas hand to lead her throught the crowd of people that was standing out ide the club.

After a few minutes of walking Athena realized Daehyun never let go of her hand, she blushed at the skinship they were experiencing. She couldn't even focus on what Daehyun was saying because she was so nervous *I can't believe he's giving me a ride home*

Daehyun took his keys out of his pocket , letting go of Athenas hand (Which he just realized he was still holding) He unlocked the car, and got inside, Athena following his lead.

"So where do you live exactly?" Daehyun asked while turning the car on,

"I live in the Tribeca Apartments," Athena told him while buckling her seat belt,

"Oh wow right by the resturant, "

"yeah.."

After that the conversation died. Neither one of them knew what to say and the atmoshere started to grow awkward. Afew a few minutes Daehyun pulled infront of Athena's apartment building  and turned the car off,

"Thank you again for the ride home," Athena said while undoing her seatl belt,

"Ah it's no problem at all, I wanted to," Daehyun said, mentally cursing himself for how shy he was becoming,

"Well goodnight," Athena said,

"Oh, uhm, yeah goodnight." Daehyun said, as he watched Athena go inside her apartment building.

*Aiish I should have talked more to her* Daehyun thought as he drove away, trying to think of a way to talk to her again. 

As he pulled into his Parking space infront of the aparment he and youngjae shared, he heard something buzz in the passenger seat, 

He turned to look at a phone going off.

A smile spread across his face,

*Bingo*
