Jenovas serve as cooks, soldiers, and the female Jenova are tuned in as maids. They stay quiet and reproachful , awaiting  the fulfillment of the treacherous promise that their makers, Soylent enterprises grants them." Once in an while a malfunctions can occur in a Jenova's system, a predictable flaw of man kind technology. Malformations  are not tolerated and should be sent back immediately. Failure to do so will result in great mishap  due to the notion of insurgency tucked away in their deep Recess , a malfunction in their brain plate can ignite the fuse.

This turbulent state occurred in Downton estate, located in the upper class districts. A broken Jenova from Soylent enterprise had been sold to the housemaster, and an android had been sent from Soylent to warn the housemaster of this. Instead of successfully delivering the message, the android turned up "dead" on the front lawns of the estate, with its cable pulled out mercilessly.
