No one's POV: 

"Why didn't you tell me he was here?" Jongin asked turning to his mum 
"I didn't think he would be here now" she replied and Jongin sighed
"I'm going" he said and headed to the front door 
"Jonggie" his grandmother said and grabbed his hand 
"I know you don't exactly want to be here right now, but please stay... for me and your grandfather... we haven't seen you for a while now" she finished and Jongin paused before sighing 
"Fine, but don't expect me to speak to him" he finally replied and his grandmother nodded whilst Jongin walked back into the living room and took a seat next to his mum. 

"S-so who are these two?" his mum asked 
"A-ah yeah. This is my... wife Minah" his dad began and pointed so Minah who bowed  
"And this is my step son Taemin" he finished and said boy looked up from his phone and waved to Jongin and his mum before looking straight back down to his phone. 
"When did you guys meet?" Jongin's mum asked 
"About seven years ago now" Minah replied and Jongin stood up 
"Want a drink?" he asked his mum and waited for her reply before walking to the kitchen, not wanting to listen to the rest of the conversation. 

Walking into the kitchen, he paused and frowned when he saw a little girl trying to reach up to the counter to grab something. Realising she was to small and wasn't going to get anywhere, he decided to help her. Stepping closer, the girl saw him and moved away a bit whilst Jongin looked and saw she was aiming for the pack of cookies 
"Want one of these?" he asked, holding the packet up as the girl nodded and Jongin took one out and handed it to her 
"Thank you" she said quietly and Jongin nodded before turning to the cupboard to get the drinks sorted. That was when he felt something tugging on his jeans and when he looked, saw the little girl looking up at him before he knelt down so he was at her height. 

"Who are you?" she asked 
"Jongin" Jongin replied and the little girl nodded
"I'm Chumi" she added and waved whilst Jongin smiled 
"Nice to meet you Chumi" he replied 
"Are my gran gran and papa yours as well?" Chumi asked 
"Yes they are" Jongin replied and Chumi's eyes widened 
"We're related then" she said and Jongin laughed 
"I guess we are" he replied and Chumi nodded happily before running back into the living room and Jongin stood back up smiling.

"Here you go" he said, handing his mum a drink and taking a seat next to her. At that moment in time his mum and Minah were chatting normally like they had known each other for a while, nothing out of the ordinary and it wasn't so awkward between them. The boy... Taemin? He was still sat on his seat on his phone, frowning and rolling his eyes at every text he got. His dad was speaking to his grandparents and Chumi was sat next to Minah staring at Jongin. As the two of them made eye contact, Jongin decided to pull a funny face which made Chumi giggle and caught the attention of his dad as he walked over to Chumi. 

"Have you already met Jongin?" he asked her and Chumi nodded
"That's your brother" he added and Chumi's eyes widened 
"I have another brother?" she asked excitedly and when her dad nodded, Chumi climbed down from the sofa and ran over to Jongin before poking his leg and he leant in close to her 
"You're my brother" she said happily and Jongin's eyes widened as he turned to his mum 
"You two do look similar" she said and when Jongin looked, he noticed that Chumi's skin was tanned just like his and her hair was coloured just like his... mayeb having a sister wasn't so bad after all...

"My... our sister is quite fond of you" Taemin said after dinner as he and Jongin got to washing the dishes
"She's cute" Jongin replied
"You won't be saying that when you see her teasy" Taemin said and Jongin smiled before the two fell silent 
"He would always talk about you" Taemin finally said and Jongin frowned
"Who?" he asked 
"Your... our... dad. Whenever you won a trophy for a dance competition with your group the story would come up in the papers and he would always cut the pictures and clippings out to put in a mini album and brag about you for days to his work colleagues" Taemin replied and Jongin fell silent. 

"I know you probably hate him, but he's been talking about this meeting for a long time. He was to afraid to come visit you because he was afraid of how you would react or if you were ever told about him growing up" Taemin added before his phone buzzed and he groaned 
"That can wait, it's brother bonding time" he muttered and Jongin laughed 
"Girlfriend troubles?" he asked 
"Not girlfriend, boyfriend troubles" Taemin replied
"Oh really?" Jongin asked and Taemin raised an eyebrow 
"That's probably one of the better reactions I get when I tell people I have a boyfriend" he said and Jongin shrugged his shoulders. 

"My best friend is homoual so I see nothing wrong in it. What's your boyfriends name?" he asked 
"Minho and he is driving me crazy! He's also meeting family right now and keeps texting me to tell him how bored he is" Taemin replied before sighing 
"How long have you guys been dating?" Jongin asked
"Almost a year" Taemin replied 
"But it's been hard" he added
"How so?".

"Well when I started liking him, I use to be down all the time because I thought he would never like me. He was popular with the girls, popular with everyone else at school, had a good group of friends whilst I had four friends and was just... loved by everyone. We never really spoke and when we did it was only during the lessons we had together. Then we became project partners and overtime got to know each other. Then one day we were just randomly talking about past relationships we had... well it was more him because I hadn't really, yeah... anyway, that was when he leant in and kissed me and at first I loved it but then I was confused. Why did he kiss me? For ages he wouldn't speak to me but when he finally did, he was confused... like he didn't know if he liked me or not and we decided to take things slowly. Yes his dad at first hated the idea of Minho being homoual but in the end he accepted it and we go together". 

"Wow" Jongin said and Taemin laughed 
"I know" he replied 
"How did you know you... loved him?" Jongin asked
"Love... it's a confusing thing really" Taemin replied before pausing to think
"I think it was when I couldn't get him out of my head, everyday I would think about him and it would annoy me when I got asked answers to school work and I didn't know. Then it would be when he would go on holidays and I would sit there moping because I missed him" he finished and blushed at the last comment whilst Jongin smiled.

"Today was not so bad was it?" his mum asked as she and Jongin walked through their front door 
"Not really" Jongin replied, making his way to bed 
"You doing anything tomorrow?" his mum asked as Jongin paused on the stairs 
"I'll go check to see if Kyungsoo is doing anything, I need a word with him" Jongin replied and his mum nodded before Jongin walked into his room... 

Ok, let me start of by saying sorry for the reealllyyyy long Taemin paragraph up there /\ I started it and went OVERBOARD with it 

Secondly, I may update again today... I may not... depends on how I'm feeling :P 

Finally, this is bugging me: 

Don't you think they look alike? Just a bit?
