No one's POV: 

"Where's Jongin?" Chanyeol asked on Monday 
"Over with Krystal perhaps?" Kyungsoo replied moodily but Sehun shook his head 
"He's not there" he replied as Joonmyun took a seat
"Haven't you guys heard?" he asked and the other three shook their heads
"Jongin dumped Krystal out by the entrance this morning" he said and their eyes widened 
"REALLY?" Chanyeol shouted and Joonmyun signalled for him to keep it down
"Yes really" he replied. 

*flashback* 

"Who exactly are you waiting for?" Qian asked as Krystal stood by the entrance of the school glaring at the gates
"Jongin, the freaking jerk stood me up yesterday" she replied moodily whilst Qian rolled her eyes 
"I'll be in class with the others" she said and walked inside, not waiting to see if Krystal would respond. When Jongin finally walked through the school, Krystal quickly walked over to him
"What the hell was that yesterday?" she asked
"What was what?" Jongin replied moodily
"You stood me up yesterday" Krystal exclaimed and Jongin turned and glared at her.

"He's just to easy. I could say or do something and he's right by my side asking me what's wrong, he's a toy made to be played with... ring any bells?" he asked and Krystal's eyes widened whilst Jongin rolled his eyes and walked inside
"Jongin-"
"No! I've had enough of you. You are mean, manipulative and a ... we're through!" Jongin shouted and Krystal froze 
"Wh-what you can't dump me" she shouted 
"I just did, find some other toy to play with" Jongin replied and walked ahead, leaving Krystal there to get stared at by other students who were walking in. 

*end of flashback*

By lunchtime and word had spread throughout the entire school that Jongin had dumped Krystal this morning. Everywhere Kyungsoo went that day people were talking about it like it was the biggest news the school was going to get all year! Some people were saying how Jongin had dumped her because he had fallen for another girl and wanted to be with her instead, others said it was because Krystal had done something to Jongin instead and he didn't like it. As for Kyungsoo? He wanted to go find Jongin and tell him 'Told you so' but that was the thing... he couldn't find Jongin anywhere!

The boy had been to hardly any of his classes and most teachers thought he had gone home ill. The thing was that many people saw him enter the school but didn't see him leave. So basically he was skiving the day and had managed to not get caught so far... so where the heck was he? 
'I give up' Kyungsoo thought and turned down the hall to go for lunch. As he did so, he bumped into someone and when he went to apologise, saw Jongin 
"Jo-" he began but Jongin ran away before he could say anything. Running a hand through his hair and sighing in defeat, he didn't even bother to go after him.

"You're home early" a voice said 
"What are you doing here?" Jongin asked 
"I could ask you the same thing" the voice replied and Jongin turned to face the person 
"School finished early" he lied 
"Now answer my question" he added
"I don't start my shift at work for another hour so I'm waiting for your mother" they replied 
"Well she's working overtime so she'll be late" Jongin said and walked to the kitchen. 

"Jongin can we talk?" the person asked 
"There is nothing to talk about" Jongin replied and the person sighed 
"Please Jongin I'm your father" he said and Jongin slammed his hand on the table 
"No! Don't do this to me" he began and his dad jumped a bit 
"You may be my father yes but you walked out on us. You walked out and left behind a wife who had to work day and night to provide for her two year old son. Some nights she would go hungry just so her son could eat. You may be back and you may sort things out with mum but don't expect to get anything out of him" he finished and stormed to the front door. 

"Where are you going?" his dad asked
"Away from you" Jongin replied and walked out before his dad could say anything. Walking down the road, Jongin ran a hand through his hair and kicked the wall... why was everything crashing down on him now? First he argues with Kyungsoo, finds out Krystal was all along cheating on him and then his dad decides to waltz back into his life and expects Jongin to forgive him and become the best of friends... fat chance of that happening! Where was he going to go now? School had finally finished so he couldn't go there, he didn't want to go to his mum's work and distract her... guess there was only one place he could go to.

"Me and your father may be late back we're not sure, labour is quite a long process" Kyungsoo's mum said running around the house 
"How long exactly?" Kyungsoo asked 
"Up to eighteen hours" his dad replied and Kyungsoo's eyes widened 
"Tomorrow is the last day of school, try not to be late or skive or well will know. There is leftovers you can reheat and please get to bed on time" his mum continued whilst Kyungsoo nodded 
"The Kwon's are next door if you need anything and please only call us if you're in a near death experience" she finished, kissed Kyungsoo on the cheek and ran out the door with Kyungsoo's dad.

"Thank you Auntie Aecha" Kyungsoo muttered happily as he sat in the living room waiting for his takeaway to arrive. It had been two hours since his parents left to go to the hospital... why? Because Kyungsoo's aunt was in labour and because her husband was currently serving his military service, she had asked Kyungsoo's parents to be there at the birth, Kyungsoo didn't really mind, he had the whole house to himself!

"Coming" he called when someone knocked on the door, expecting it to be his delivery he grabbed some money his mum left behind and opened the door before pausing when he saw who was there 
"I need to talk to you" Jongin muttered with his eyes glued to the floor...
