                My name is Lee Byunghun, I’m 17 years old and I had a boyfriend, who was slightly older than me, named Lee Chanhee. We were so happy together, he loved me and I loved him very much. Our parents and our friends knew about our relationship. We didn’t want to make our relationship a secret. Well okay, ‘I’ didn’t want to make our relationship a secret because I wanted to brag about my boyfriend to my friends. He was such a beauty, his milky skin, his red tempting lips, his big brown eyes. I was sure that our relationship would last forever. Or at least I thought it was.

Several weeks later.

                Chanhee looked sad these past few days. He had been to his parent’s house several times. I’d tried to ask him what’s wrong but he always said that he was ok. I knew that he was lying. When he lied, even though you could see his smile, he couldn’t cover the sad looks on his eyes. I knew that something was wrong, but I had his own privacy so I didn’t barged in.

“Channie, what’s wrong? You look pale.” I rubbed his cheek.

“I’m okay Byunggie, I’m just tired.” He smiled.

“Are you sure?” I asked again with a worried face.

“Yep!” He landed a kiss on my cheek.

“Say, tomorrow is our third anniversary. I want to take you out for a dinner in a restaurant, do you have time?” I asked.

“Of course I have! You don’t even have to ask, I always take my day off on our anniversary.” He giggled.

                That night, he was weird. We usually slept together on the same bed, but this night he slept on his own in the guest room. He said that he need be alone for the night. It wasn’t his first time sleeping on the guest room. We had a little fight few months ago and he slept on the guest room but that’s it, he slept next to me again the next night. Tonight I was sure that I didn’t make any mistake, I was curious so I peeked at his room. He was writing something.

                On the next day, we were having dinner. I knew something was up, he didn’t look like usual. Even though he was smiling, I still could see a hint of sadness on his eyes. But like usual, if I asked him, he would say that he was ok.

“Hey Channie?” I called him.

“Yeah?”

“Could you close your eyes for a moment.”

“Umm.. okay” he closed his eyes.

                I got up from my chair and stood behind him as I put on a necklace on his neck. He startled, he touched the necklace and looked at me with a teary eyes.

“Happy Anniversary” I smiled at him.

                He broke down crying.

“W-why are you crying? Are you okay?” I said nervously.

“I-I’m so happy right now. I love you Byunggie.” He kissed me on the lips softly.

“I love you too, Channie.” I kissed him back, ignoring the people on the restaurant that night.

                After we finished our teary dinner, we went to a park to enjoy the view.
