HYOSUNG'S POV

I never thought it would all turn out like this, he was my best friend, my brother, my father, my sister, mother and my first love. I could still remember the first day we met

I was only 5 years old that time and it was summer, I was sitting on one of the playground's swing when something came flying, hitting me right on the head. I touched my head and groaned. A guy came running towards me

"OMO! I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to" He said, guilt was written all over his face

"Don't worry it's okay" Well, not really. No, obviously not

"I really am sorry. Let me make it up to you, I'll treat you Ice cream. I'm Kim Himchan by the way"

Hmmm. Ice cream, sounds great! "I'm Hyosung, Jeon Hyosung"

We became best friends immediately after that. We were always together, we even attended the same school. He was the most protective person I ever know. And he was there to cheer me up when my boyfriend, Lee Gikwang cheated on me.

It was the 14th of February, Gikwang and I's 1ooth day anniversary, It was already 2 in the afternoon and he still hasn't called or even message me so I called him instead, and after 3 rings someone finally picked up

"Hello?" No, it wasn't him. Instead, it was a woman's voice

"H-hello, who is this?" I asked nervously

"Oh, it's Naeun, Gikwang oppa's girlfriend. And you are?"

Girlfriend? What? "I-um--uh no one, I got the wrong numebr I'm sorry"

And I ended up on Himchan oppa's arms that night.

"Stop crying Hyo bear"

"But oppa it--it hurts"

"G-gikwang, h-he ch-chea-cheated on m-me"

Himchan oppa cursed, and hugged me tighter, "That jerk, Don't worry no one's gonna hurt you for now on Hyosungie, no one"

And that's when I started falling for him, my bestfriend who also has my first ever kiss....

Christmas, This time, I celebrated it with his family because mines are overseas. I was leaning on the balcony's railing, looking at the stars when I heard someone cleared his throat behind my, 'Kim Himchan' I smiled, and turned around only to be surprised when his lips landed on mines.

"Sorry Bunny, we're under a mistletoe if you haven't noticed so um yeah. Anyway, everyone's waiting for you downstairs. C'mon" He said and lead our way

It was both our first kiss, and it made me happy and giggidy. But then, an unpleasant event entered my mind, my supposed to be confession which turned out to be a really heart-breaking scene

It was Valentine's day. 'This is it, the day I'll confess to him' I thought as I held on to the box of chocolates I prepared for him. As I made her way to the hallway, I got surrounded by bundles of admirers who were holding out their presents for me. I placed the presents on my locker, which is also flodded by letters and flowers. And after that, I went to search for my bestfriend. I found him on the garden, sitting on the bench, smiling widely. I smiled, held the box tighter and skipped towards him, and sat beside him.

"Hey" I said

He looked at me and smiled even more, "I have a great news for you"

"Really? What is it?"

"Sunhwa finally agreed to be my girlfriend"

Girlfriend, he has now finally have a girlfriend. I admit, that was my first ever heartbreak. I forced out a smile

"T-that's great, c-c-congratulations"

"I know, Thank you" And he started telling me what happened

I sighed, closed the book on my hands and looked up, there I saw him, with her, Han Sunhwa, his girlfriend. As his gaze landed towards mine, he smiled and I forced out a smile also, to my bestfriend whom I fell in love with but can never have as my own.
