I prefer reading to anything else. When I was younger I had very few friends and spent all my time in the library. Now I'm older I still am hardly the social butterfly, I instead spend all my spare time on my laptop, still reading, however now its fanfiction. 

There will be no bashing of pairings here. I do have my biases but I don't believe in not reading a story because of a certain pairing. I think it is the writers responsibility to make the pairing believable. If the writer is good enough to make me go and search other stories with the same pairing then that shows they have done a good job!

Reason for this title and me suddenly deciding to recommend fics like this is because of a conversation I was having about sifting through so much rubbish to find the "little gems". This can be used in any area of life, I am just using it for fanfiction ^^
