The room is chilly like the cold wind that keeps constantly rushing toward me like a repetitive, massive wave, and the room is also pitch-black like the sight of blindness that is incapable of sensing any sort of light. I smell the wispy scent of mold lingering in the air as a soft, tinkling sound of dripping water comes off from a distance. I can't see, but I know my arms and legs are chained by some kind of metallic material. I am captured and trapped.
I don't know how many days it have been, but every time—I'm guessing maybe every day—I am fed and watched and taken cared of and petted. I'm guessing this is their way of showing their love to me, but being caught and put into a cage of darkness solved nothing for me.
I'm not comforted. I can't be saved.
Soon enough, my eyes suddenly begin adjusting to the dark, quiescent room that persists in the silence of time. Right before me, I see a person who is also chained and in acceptance of his own cruel fate that is identical to mine. Had he already given up on escaping?
It is still aphotic in the bitter, cement room, but I can recognize his expression of calmness and consolation. All along he was comforting me with all he could in order to make me see th
