I knew for the longest time that she was in love with him. Although she never said so, it was so obvious that there was something there. She secretly always fixed her hair whenever he came over or if he was near, she would put the cutest smile to get his attention. Of course, he never really noticed, and I was glad of that, because I was in love with her for the longest time, even longer than the love that had sprouted within her for him.

She was a good friend of mine, and from the beginning, she was always beautiful and sweet. I was already in love with her before I knew it, and it came as a surprised, but I tried to deal with it as if it was nothing. In order to keep our friendship going strong like how it was, I planned not to confess to her. It was better that way, to stay as buddies. However, when I noticed her untold feelings, I knew I might lose her.

She was always just a distant figure to me. I felt like a scarecrow that desired to be loved by the black passing crows that cawed in the sky for once or like a weed that grew on the edge of a sidewalk that wanted to grow just as beautiful and tall like a flower but will soon be plucked out of the ground to die.
