What the hell am I doing here?

This stupid life, it takes me no where. I roam. I walk alone. For a total of twenty-one years, I've been wandering around, sniffing the ordinary aroma of life that always makes me feel even more numb. To the ground, I am paralyzed like a statue that has no feelings, no essential purpose and no life. There's nowhere for me to go, and there's no one who would love me. I'm just a lost person who has nothing to spare, nothing to give up. I'm just straying. I have no dreams, and I have no future. Or simply put it, I've given up on life, yet I've built too much pride to abandon this quiescent yet dangerous path that I've been taking charge of. I can't forfeit. I can't leave, because at the same time, I am bounded to this world through a camouflaged string of deep connections and memories. A feeling that overpowers me. A freshness of serenity that washes the paralytic and petrified state that I'm dissolved in, in which I've became too accustomed to.

What have I done to make me feel this way?

Once, I picked up a gun, brought it to my right temple and closed my eyes tightly. I rested my finger on the trigger, slowly breathing calmly as I felt the gun's tough metal brush the side of my head. I was getting ready, mentally preparing myself for the opening act or should I say the finale? Either way, it didn't matter because it was my solo performance. I was going to go no matter what.
