Joon peered through the thick glass barrier that kept him separated from the woman who, finally for once, calmly sat still. Whiteness, cushions and silence all gathered up in that locked room as he pressed his angry fingers against the small, clear window in which the door coldly held in place. It was just like a box, no way out unless someone untaped the cardboard flaps.
The woman who was in there; the woman he loved, she was gone. She was no longer with him or more like she was no longer in this world, specifically, no longer sane.
She had lost her mind a while ago when their apartment partially burnt down. Fatal flames fumed in rage before her eyes and rushed towards her quickly in violent waves. He remembered yelling for her to run to him. He was already down the hall as the building continued its ablaze destruction, but she continued to stand there as if petrified by the moving snakes and cruel eyes from the Medusa form it took.
If only that incident from her childhood didn't happen, she wouldn't be forced to be locked up in a mental institution just because of a recent fire attack that had caused her to remember that harsh incident of basically being burnt alive. He remembered her telling him about a story in which she had almost died because of a fire outbreak that happened when she was a kid, but he never thought she would lose herself in the fear of facing a massive fire again.
Clenching his fingers together, Joon gave her one last glimpse before stepping out, knowing she probably wasn't even aware of his presence due to the condition she was in.
Joon pressed on the sapphire blue button that lit up once it was activated, chromatic lights shooting from the device that glow onto his glowering face of preparedness and determination. It was within a quick split second when his body was falling at an instantaneous speed, following gravity perfectly as if he had jumped from an extremely elevated height. Suddenly, the motion had stopped and when he open his mouth widely to take a huge breath, he noticed he was standing somewhere else, or in other words, exactly in front of his girlfriend's house when she was a child.
He checked the time. 2:48 AM.
He was suddenly running with all his might, in worry for her safety as he sent bare hands smashing a side window of her house and entering immediately right after. The security alarm instantly went off, causing a loud
