" Ghost ready or not , here we came!"
Taemin shook his head in disbelife. " I was afraid she will say that." Sunny zoomed to the second floor.
" Noona wait for me."
" Hurry up, turtle. I don't have all night." Taemin runed after her. With every step they took the sound was more clear.
" This is freaking me out. We should get back."
" Come on your scared highness! Are you really a prince coz I doubt about it!" Whit that statemnt the tomboy earned a slap on the back of her head.
" Idiot! You hit the future queen. I should hang you for that."
" Whatever. We are not in the middle ages, you know!"
" Lucky Tae. A scared prince like you will not survive a whole day in that age."
" Yah..."
" I can't hear it."
They stoped at the end on the hallway. "I'm sure it was coming from here." Sunny said with a confused expression. Taemin rushed to the right part of the palace. He was counting when he got back. " This is odd. 8 doors on the right and just 7 on the left. I can swear there were 8 on this side too. I remember it because I was here before."
The girl started to knock on the last part of the wall.
" What are you doing?" the prince asked with a puzzled face
" This part of the palace is simetric, right? There are 8 windows on the right side and the same number on the left, that means here is another room and this wall had a door before someone sealed it. That part will sound different."
" See? I was right." she added after a few knocks." We have to find a way in."
Taemin crossed his arms over his chest " And what are you suggesting? To bring the wall down in the middle of the night? Seriouslly Sunny we could get into real trouble only by messing around here. I don't want to think what will happen if there is a ghost too. Whatever is behind that wall it should stay there otherwise why would someone make such an effort to keep it there?"
Sunny raised her shoulders.
" Don't ask me."
" You can stay here, but I'm going to find something to unlock the doors "(the last 2 were looked , she shecked them when the prince went to the right side). Outside it was raining for some time and now it growing into a real storm. A lightning striked near and the power went off. The palace was covered in darkness. Another lightning followed by a loud thunder and Taemin was hiding behind the tomboy. They saw a shadow on the sairs way.
" W...what was that?" the prince said with a trembling voice. Sunny covered his mouth with her hand. She put her index near her lips signaling him to be quiet. Both could clearly hear footsteps. Someone is coming. " Move." The girl pushed Tae into a small hallway then to an unlocked door.
" I can't see the stairs ." the prince complained and Sunny pull out 2 small flashlights from her purse. " Here use this." Taemin's eyes widen. " Since when do you carry flashlights after you all the time?"
" It doesn't matter." Sunny wasn't ready to tell her brother how "lovable" is her husband.
When they riched the attic the door locked behind them with a loud bang and the girl disappeared. Tae flashed his light on all the corners
" Sunny, Sunny where are you? Sunny answer me!" His heart went crazy and it was hard to breath. Without a warning she appeared in front of him with her light put on her face. BOOOO. She was so scary then Tae fall on the floor hiting his back on some boxes. The princess laught loud. The power in the palace went on same in the attic. The boy stood up with his hand on his chest where his heart should be. " Stupid do you want to give me a heart attack?" She pushed the girl away. He look around. This attic was ..oh well looked more like a vintage apartment.
" What is this place?"
" Welcome to my humble house your majesty." The tomboy made a reverence. If you didn't know her personality you could swear she was born a princess. " Do you like it?"
" Like it? I love it!" the boy was still amaized by this place. " Can I come here once in a while?"
" Sure, my place is your place." they both smiled. The attic was something. The furniture was in victorian style ( white and silver). A rocking chair was in front of a fireplace. It has even an old doll house and a few toys. This attic had a small bedroom and a bath. It looked like someone lived here. On the far left was a white dresser with a silver mirror on top of it. Sunny went to the dresser and pulled out 2 hairpins.
" What do you want to do with that?"
" After the guests will go home I'm going to unlock the doors."
" I had to ask that, did I?" the prince puffed his cheeks. " Next time remember me not to follow you....never again." he added. It was almost morning when the last person in the palace went to sleep. This was their chance and soon they were in front on the last 2 doors. A click could be heard and the 6 th door went wide open. Nothing special just an old office with some bookshelves on the left ,a desk in the middle and a soffa with a coffee table in front of it in the right. Taemin saw the disappointment on the girl's face.
" What were you expecting to shake hands with the ghost or maybe to be invited to a ghost tea party?"
Sunny ignored him again. " Lisen the crying again"
" Don't tell me someone was built in the wall. Ani . Ani" Taemin closed his eyes and covered his ears.
" Yah" the girl shouted and got the boy's atention. " This place is toooo old for someone to survive in a room and you are talking about wals? Come on Tae. Think."
" Exactly. I was right. It is a ghost." Sunny gived him the Areyoukiddingme look and stormed out of the room
"Don't follow me." she said from the hallway. " I can't stay here. Are you that insane?"
The girl giggled " You told me to remind you next time." Taemin facepalmed himself " You are impossible!"Another click and the last door was opened. " WTF!" Sunny kind of yelled.
" Language princess!" Tae said showing only his head out of the room. " What is it? "
"It's a wall behind the door."
"Impossible." Sunny made him a sign to come and see with his own eyes. " OMO you are right" The boy's eyes went round. " I think we have to quit right now. This is big, let's go."
Instead of running away , the girl, went back in the room. Taemin raised his arms in surrender "Get here" she ordered. She was looking at the door to see if her brother will follow and she bumped into the soffa. Sunny lost her balance and landed with her hands on the coffee table , one of the bookshelves moved. It was a secret door to the other room. *How many secrets has this palace* she thought. Less she knew this was only the beginning. The tomboy punched into the air. " Better then Sherlock!"
" Don't tell me you are going in there?" Taemin narrowed his eyes. " What else?" She gived him an eveil look that made him jump into his place.
" I officially proclame you NUTS."
" You are so annoying." Sunny said from the other room before she opened the light. "OMG".... the room was full of medical equipment even a hospital bed. Taemin grabbed her hand. " This is too much. It looks like the lab where Frankenstein was buit. We have to go before we get killed or tortured on that things."
She pulled her hand from his grip. " Are you that stupid? That is rehabilitation medical equipments. The person who needs this is probably paralyzed. I'm in med school so I know that." Tae made an O face. " Do you still think it is a ghost?" The grild unlock the last door. " And behind door number 3 Isssssss?!" the prince imitated te tv host's voice from the show but stopped when she gived him a glare.
As soon as the door opened hoarse voice told them to get out of the room. " Are you deaf? Get the hell out of here I don't need you." the owner of the voice repeated. The 2 were took adback for a few seconds before Sunny confirmed what she was afraid of. " Make us!" Nothing happened. " I was right." It was dark in the room, the curtains were closed but the light from the other room made posible to see a young man lying in another medical bed. *Why this voice sounds familiar?* Taemin thought. Sunny went near the bed to see the person f but the man's face was turned into the other direction. Then Tae found the light switch and pushed the button and the light went on. Both shouted in shock.
" KRIS?!!!!"
