Apocalypse Notice

~The Discontinuation...~

'I GIVE UP!" I yelled at the sky, sitting down and closing my eyes. I was leaning against the remains of a blown away brick building.

The last person I remembered seeing was Luhan and I'm sure he couldn't last long. Not as long as I had at least. He was alright for his size and ability, but I doubt he stood a chance once the rest of EXO fell off the face of the Earth. I know he was fighting with me, struggling to make it out alive. I was with him and we were meant to meet up along with Kris and Tao. They didn't make it. The last place I saw them was back in Seoul; wherever I was now was like the other side of the world.

Knowing that I hadn't seen anyone, not even bodies as I traveled, I knew I was alone. No one was coming, no help, no other survivors. I looked up at the sun, it was dim for one; probably on account of Baekhyun's disappearance. He was the third of our members to go. I didn't see how but I know Chanyeol was distraught when he came and told us the information. There was blood on him, fresh blood, crimson nearly covering his white t-shirt and a bit splattered in his hair. It was scary, but I played it off; pretended it wasn't affecting me. But it did; all the deaths and vanishing cities were getting to me. I stood up and kept walking. No time to stop, I needed supplies. Water was low, food was minimum, I had no medicine.

I stopped at an intersecting road, two crossing each other like an x in front of me. I went straight and  kept looking here and there. There were piles of junk everywhere and as much as it disgusted me, I went looking through to try and find the things I needed. I pushed through tons of broken personal and possibly valuable possesions. The ruins of a big white house I had never gotten to see standing were all that was left. I pushed aside debris and plushy toys and felt small slash across my hand as I looked at a small dog toy and underneath it there was something shining, it was metal and had blood on it; my blood. I took a look at my hand, the cut was deep and wide. It was amazing how the pain went unnoticed...

I found a white cloth, it was long and elegant most likely the remainder of what would have been a beautiful wedding dress. I looked at it and not giving it another thought, ripped it with my teeth. I wrapped the cloth around my wrist and hand  three times and tore it off, leaving the rest as it was. I looked at the makeshift bandage and sighed. It was terrible knowing that someone somewhere had missed out on a wonderful event but then again, so would I.

Going on, I walked across the dusty town and found a small crumbling pharmacy where I was able to find some antibiotics and real bandages. I wrapped my hand in the fresh, clean cloths and kept on my way. I arrived at a nicer looking city about 1/2 a mile away and was surprised to find a carnival in the smal town. It was empty and creepy but I couldn't help but go towards it.

The first thing I ran into: a giant clown. I got so scared I poofed up behind it and kicked it over but that's when it bounced back and I realized it was just a balloon. I knew there wouldn't be anyone around here. I laughed dryly at myself before giving the clown anoter kick and hearing its mechanical laughter. It was hauntingly realistic and reminded me that I didn't care much for clowns unless they were making people around me happy. Then it just gave me a warm fweeling inside I guess.

Going on through, I found a house of mirrors and ran inside, running into every wall and reflexive surface in the place. I smiled at myself as I stumbled around goofily, trying not to hit anything too hard and risk a few more cuts and bruises. I wandered, and kept wandering right back into me, no way of knowing how to get out until I actually managed to get out. As I went along, I smiled as I saw light shining through telling me that I had reached my stop. I zigged and zagged this way and that until I was out on the little wooden deck of the maze. I held my stomach and leaned one hand against the wall to stabilize myself as I laughed. Chuckling like an idiot for what, I'm not sure but it made me feel better. I fell on my back and coughed, causing a cloud of dust to fly up around me making me think it was my own breath. "Wow, is my throat dry..." I said giggling to myself even more. Sitting up, I put a hand to my forehead feeling a sharp pain and started breathing heavily.  "If I had to choose a place to snap.... this would probably be it." I said aloud and laughed just as loudly as if someone would respond. But not even the wind would blow now and I couldn't help but be depressed.

I got up and was limping now, trying to find something for me to do that wouldn't feel so lonely. I found a rollercoaster, it was tall and not moving so I decided turning it on would make this carnival a bit more animated. I went over to the control panel and smiled looking down at all the little dimly glowing buttons. Running my fingers over each one slowly, I found the one that said start and pushed it and quickly hobbled my way to the middle cart. Climbing in, I kept my giggling high and laughed like a jeckel now scaring my own self. This is what it was like to go insane... I thought to myself while the ride climbed upwards. I imagined screams; other peoples' screams. At  the top of the rail I looked down and around me; there was no 'other people'. I was all alone and on my ride down, I realized I would never get off this ride
