once upon a time, they existed.

once upon a time, byun baekhyun and park chanyeol existed. they were destined, meant to be the one for each other, to be the one that would accompany the other for the rest of their lives. it was fate, and everyone knows fate never lies. but this time, it did. fate lied. it was a paradox, an enigma. a mystery that even they both cannot solve.

maybe there was a time when they really did care for each other, but byun baekhyun doesn't remember when, or how. maybe it was because he was just a mere commoner. because he was no match for the prince.

park chanyeol doesn't remember if they really cared about each other too, because all he heard about baekhyun was about how that commoner was trying to take advantage from him, for the prince's wealth to be the commoner's himself.

the commoner always believed in happy endings.

the prince did too.
