Bangsong oneshots.Jieun sighed, she had been looking for jobs since last week, when Summer just beginned. However, she seemed to be out of luck because neither of the jobs she applied for, has contacted her. She scowled at the computer screen.
On her computer, a tab was open. It was a website where people look for jobs. She scrolled down the webpage and squinted her eyes.
Hostress. Nah.
Waitress. Already applied for one.
Cleaner. PPfft, too young for that. Jieun thought as she read through the jobs available. A certain advertisement caught her eyes as she scrolled further down.
The Yummy Milkshake place? Sounds nice. Woah, if I work there part-time for three hours, I'll at least get fifty bucks! Her eyes shone at the thought of money. Jieun nodded and grabbed a post-it note from her drawer. She copied down the address of the milkshake store and prepared herself.
She grabbed her jeans from her closet and put on a plait shirt. Good enough. She grabbed her bag and left the house immediatedly.
"Welcome to the Yummy Milkshake place!" A waitress greeted her as she walked in the doors of the store. The place looked amazing, cozy and nice and top of that, amazing yeah. There is even air-condition!
"Hi, may I help you, Miss?" Jieun nodded and smiled at the cashier.
"Hi, I er heard that you're looking for a person for the job?" Jieun asked nervously.
Keep calm, Song Jieun.
The cashier nodded and looked at her expectantly.
"I'm here to apply." She finished shortly. The cashier eyed her from head to toe and nodded.
"You can fill in this form and hand it to me after you have finished it." Jieun bowed slightly and got the form from the cashier. She looked around and plopped onto the nearest seat she can find, to the cashier and opened her bag. She fished out her pen and began filing up the form.
"Thank you and see you again!" The same cheery waitress greeted her as Jieun left the place. With a relieved sigh, she walked home.
I hope I'll get the job.
It was not until two days later, Jieun received a call. She jumped up slightly when she answered the phone.
