“I don’t know if you will read this crappy letter but perchance that you are going to… Hi! This is me finally getting the courage to say hello to you. Is this appropriate time? I assumed it is if not why would you bother to read until this word am I right? Since you already on your third line why not just be generous towards me and read till the last sentence, till the last ink spill I put in this letter, okay?

 You must be wondering why did I send you this, why did I suddenly have the courage (albeit is still a bit cowardly) to send you an anonymous letter like this. Why? Because I chicken out all the time! Every week days I see you, sometimes twice a day (on the day I wear makeup) if I’m lucky. Every time our eyes see each other and someone has to look away. It may be a wishful thinking at my part but it feels like our sight, when they meet, they remain poignantly. Expectant.

I really want to smile and say hello but my heart starts to freak out, and my insides too, do somersault at the sight of you. My throat suddenly seized up and my tongue gets horribly twisted, followed closely by the terror of blurting out ‘habhgar’ in place of a meek greeting. Though I’m perfectly conscious how stupid and clichéd it is to give a letter to your passing crushes (especially we are already in university, not in high school where teenagers’ hormonal system are likely to be more in rampage phase), but this is the only opportunity I can take to express my feelings where the utter embarrassment of it all is taken out of the equation.

You may hear this since the day you were born but of course I am going to say (write) it anyway. I do think that you are good looking. I think most of people who happened to see you (even at least once in their lifetime) would agree that you are indeed good looking. Okay, actually I think you’re really cute. It may be a bit turn off but yeah, to me you are really cute. This might be sound a bit stalker-ish and an absolute awkwardness for my behalf (I really do not think this is a big deal for you, seriously) but I noticed that you wore the same black shirt for two days in a row hahahahaha but that’s okay because you still look good nonetheless.
