"you've been told about the storyline, right? so you have to express your feelings and show how mesmerize she is." the mv director directed the boys who listened to his explanation carefully.
"we got it." they said.
"shooting will be begun in 10 minutes. Prepare yourself." he said before leaving them to continue the preparation.
"taemin-ah, can you do it?" key turned to the youngest who didn't look focus at all. he stared at key then nodded.
"i'm okay, hyung." he assured his hyungs who looked at them worriedly.
"krystal will wear a mask. so just pretend you see....umm her." jonghyun told him. Key nudged him while minho looked at taemin  quickly.
"krystal?" taemin frowned.
"it's our hoobae, taemin-ah. The member of sm's new group." minho explained.
"it's soojung." key helped minho "the maknae."
"ah..i remember." taemin nodded. He didn't really pay attention to them when they're introduced to them last time.
"taemin-ah.." jonghyun sighed. "you're still blank."
"mianhae hyung.." taemin lowered his head, feeling guilty.
"well okay guys! Let's do our best! I'm pretty sure that ALL of us will do our best." onew quickly changed the subject and tried to be positive. Taemin looked at onew and thank him for trusting him that much. even though he messed up almost the whole thing lately.
even after months passed.
"thanks hyung." taemin smiled at onew.
"you'd better do your best, maknae. i trust you." onew patted his back.

It's been 4 months since he ended his relationship with the girl he really loves. this girl was his classmate, his first crush whi crashed his heart.
They were really close each other, making everyone around them often teased them whenever they told people about their relationship.
"we're just friend, best friend." that girl said.
"we don't believe you." their friends said.
"but we really are!" taemin added.
"ck, just date already, you guys are no fun." they commented. they just smiled upon seeing their reaction.
deep inside, both of them knew about their mutual feelings. But none of them wanted to admit. their story was too wonderful to be true. they're afraid that if they tried to change it, they would change.
"minnie and jungie."
minjung wrote it on taemin's book when they studied together at taemin's house.
"it's like a girl's name!" taemin protested, making the girl giggled.
"but i like it." she smiled.
taemin stared at the girl lovingly and for a moment, they stared each other, saying nothing.
taemin took his pencil and started editing what minjing wrote previously. He crossed a word then changed it with a new word.
minnie loves jungie.
minjung gasped, she gazed at the book then taemin. taemin quickly covered his mouth with his backhand, hiding his embarassment.
"is it..true?" she asked.
Taemin nodded, not knowing how to respond. that's his only chance to let the girl he loves. he would debut soon and he knew if he didn't ask her soon, he'd probably lose her.
"but.." she startled.
"jungie, i know it's so sudden and weird, since we're bestfriends. but my guts tell me that we have mutual feelings. you know, i'll debut in a few months and i can't date for a year." he sighed.
"i love you too, taemin. but i'm afraid you'll ditch me after finding  new girl who is more beautiful than i am. you're an idol so you shouldn't date common people like me." she lowered her head.
"i don't care!" taemin quickly responded. "you're not a common people, you're special."
"hmm..i don't know, taemin. i just--"
"do you love me?" taemin cupped her face, staring at her eyes directly.
she nodded. "more than you imagine."
"then wait." he paused. "just a year, wait for me. we can be best friend for a while before changing to the next step. will you?"
she nodded. "i will."

things were so easy for a while. taemin shined as bright as his group's name, SHINee. they're loved by their fans especially noona fans. taemin was also known as "noona killer" for his infamous cute and angelic image. after a year, he started dating his jungie and met several times at midnight or dawn. sometimes taemin came to minjung's house or minjung will visit taemin.
but a few months after they're official, taemin started feeling that something's fishy. minjung acted weird and often stared blankly at him. it's like even though her body was there, her mind wasn't.
taemin was really curious but he kept telling himself that he had to trust his jungie. So although he's so curious, he held that.
one day after he did his photoshoot sooner than expected, he decided to surprise his girlfriend by coming to her house, bringing her favorite ice cream. taemin bounced on her seat while the manager drove him there.
unfortunately, he had to experience such a bad luck. his smile disappeared as soon as he saw his jungie leaned onto someone's shoulder. taemin rexognized him as one of his classmate.
taemin was shock. he stunned for a moment until his girlfriend saw him. she looked pale and quickly approached taemin. she tried to explain but taemin shrugged it off and refused to look at her because he felt like crying at that time.
"i'm sorry, minnie..i really am." she cried.
"don't call me with that name." taemin responded coldly even though his heart still thumped loudly whenever she called him with that nickname.
"i'm stressed! and i have no one to lean! you're so busy and you weren't here when i need you."
"and now you blame everything on me. whatever, just put a blame on me. I'm going now, be happy with heejun." he glared at heejun before leaving them.
"wait!" minjung held his arm, trying to stop him. "please don't go..i love you, minnie."
"STOP CALLING ME WITH THAT NAME!" taemin bursted into anger. he closed his eyes, controlling his emotion.
"don't yell at her!" heejun finally spoke.
"just shut up, heejun. it's my fault." minjung quickly responded.
"i'm sorry, minnie..baby..i'm really sorry. it's my fault..so forgive me and we can start all over again, right? we can be the old minnie and jungie again and no third-wheel this time." she persuaded.
"not in a million years." taemin shrugged it off then left without looking back.

taemin slumped back in his seat, catching his breath. they just finished shooting the dance version and next they had to shoot the drama version. they would work together with their hoobae. minho and jonghyun took off their jacket and fanned them selves with papers. key was nowhere to be found while onew sat beside taemin, watching the maknae carefully.
"we have to continue it in 20 minutes. is that okay?" he asked.
"fine, hyung." taemin forced a smile while faced his hyung.
"focus taemin.." he said. Taemin nodded even though he knew it's hard. Even after they separated and minjung went back to her hometown, but the thought of her pinned his mind non-stop.
Taemin shook his head then stood up. He had to clear his mind before shooting. he didn't want to be a burden for his team. his hyungs were already too good.
"come back before 20 minutes." onew said. taemin was really grateful because onew knew his mind and didn't want to interfere his matter.
"ne hyung." he smiled then went out from the room. he decided to explore their location, hopefully it could distract his mind even for a while.
taemin bowed whenever he saw a staff passed by and greeted him politely as always. sometimes he stopped to chat with some staff before continuing his exploration.
he entered each room, talking to almost everyone he met.
"taemin-ssi standby." one of the staff called him. time surely flied fast because he didn't realize that he's wandered around for 20 minutes already. he quickly ran to the room and realized that his hyungs were already there. Onew looked relieve while key frowned deeply, surely he didn't like his tardiness.
"sorry hyung." he apologized. they nodded while minho patted his back.
"each of you will have a scene with krystal so we'll shoot one by one."
"nee.." they answered in chorus.
"since minho got the most scene, so we'll do your part first. Come on."
minho nodded then followed the director while the rest of them sat on the nearest chair. taemin slumped in his chair and watched minho who listened to direction carefully.
and that's when his gaze fell on someone who just entered the room. the one with long-wavy hair and white dress, looking like goddess. he stunned because she looked so familiar. He sat up straightly and grasped his chair, wanting to show her face clearly.
"no way.." he murmured.
"what?" jonghyun asked when he heard what taemin said. he looked at taemin's direction and smiled. "i know, soojungie looks like a goddess."
"soo..jungie?" he repeated jonghyun's word.
"jung soojung. she's sooyeon-noona's sister. in case you didn't know, sooyeon is jessica noona." he explained.
taemin didn't fully pay attention to jonghyun. he studied her carefully. the way she walked, the way she smiled...
"annyeonghaseyo.." she approached them, smiling while tugging her hair behind her ear.
The way she tugged her hair behind her ear..even her voice.
she looked exactly like his jungie!
taemin startled, he couldn't help but kept comparing his jungie with krystal. looking at krystal made him even miserable because it made him miss his jungie even more. He stared at krystal longingly, remembering how minjung usually acted.
he seeked minjung in krystal. he felt sorry but he couldn't help but thought about sudden plan in his head. he's in dilemma right now.
"you're older than me, right?" krystal turned to taemin.
"ah n-ne." taemin nodded.
"please take care of me, taemin oppa." she smiled then slightly bowed before walking back to the set.
And that's how taemin became blind and he determined to get her no matter what.
