AUTHOR's POV Kyungmi walked down the school hallways with a big wide smile plastered on her face. She finally didn't need those big specs and nerdy clothes anymore, even though in some ways she kind of liked them. She couldn't help but giggle at the memory of her mother's reaction after hearing that she didn't need that disguise anymore. Considering that her mother hated those horrible things which, in her opinion, couldn't even be called clothes, since she was the owner of a famous brand, she was totally overjoyed upon hearing those news, in fact she had even started jumping up and down like a kid. Kyungmi shook her head, disapproving her mother's childish behavior. *omma is...unique...I guess...* As she was immersed in her own thoughts she didn't notice all those eyes on her. Mouth hanging open and eyes widening, all the students were gaping at her; she was wearing a simple white sweater which hugged her figure perfectly, evidencing her well shaped and toned body, and a pair of normal slim-fit jeans which praised her long legs. Her clothes were kind of normal, but they weren't anymore if you were talking about the school nerd. That was a whole new person! It was just surprising how she could make such plain clothes fit her so well. Boys regretted not taking the opportunity to flirt with her when they still could and girls regretted bullying her, missing the chance to become friend of the famous heiress of the Jungs. Kyungmi headed peacefully to her locker as her eyes immediately caught a familiar looking figure standing in front of locker 96, her heart started to beat rapidly, ignoring her brain's complaints. *did Blondie become Brownie?* she asked herself as she continued on walking towards her locker with her eyes still scrutinizing the boy, who was back-facing her. She sighed, envious of the fact that he could look handsome in every hair color, and inserted the code before grabbing her books, though her gaze was still glued on that figure, who, feeling a little observed, suddenly turned around to meet her eyes. Kyungmi gulped down, not knowing what to do when she had just been caught red-handed. They stared at each other for a good two awkward minutes, which felt like ages to Kyungmi, before the girl, respecting and remembering her own decision, smiled weakly, surprising the boy, who was expecting a big outburst or even a fat slap on his cheek, or maybe a punch, since after all it was Jung Kyungmi he was talking about. "Hey, you dyed your hair! You don't look like a bad boy anymore!" She laughed trying to break the heavy atmosphere between them by joking a little. "Ummm...yeah...actually almost everyone in Teen Top changed their hair-color in a more natural one." Ljoe replied awkwardly avoiding her stare as a wave of guilt and something else which he couldn't decipher, washed over him. "Oh...ah...t-that's c-cool!" She stuttered mentally punching herself for being so stupid. Ljoe glanced at her, wondering why she was being so good to him when he had been a heartless and selfish jerk. Heck, he didn't even expect her to talk to him! He was sure she would have avoided him and sent him death glares whenever she could. *you're sure different from the other girls. Someone as kind as you are, shouldn't even exist...anyone could take advantage of your soft-heart...like I did...psh do I even deserve being alive? After hurting Jieun, I hurt you...I'm keeping on hurting people...I should at least talk to you and apologize for my actions.* Ljoe thought, totally and truly admiring the girl in front of him. He knew he had hurt her a lot, but there she was, standing proudly, smiling and talking to him like nothing happened; she wasn't angry, she wasn't shouting at him, she wasn't punching or slapping or going all crazy on him nor she was blaming anyone and sure she didn't look depressed at all : she looked happy, but why? *why are you so good to me even after what I have done?* "What?" Kyungmi asked snapping him out of his own little world. "Uh?" He scratched the back of his neck, not knowing what she was talking about. "What did you just say? I heard something like 'why are you...' And then you mumbled something" she explained looking at him curiously. "Oh ah, nothing! I was just thinking..." Ljoe bit his bottom-lip still feeling guilty and not being able to look at her directly in her eyes. She sensed his discomfort and frowned a little, he didn't need to feel guilty, after all she had already forgiven him, no scratch that, she had never blamed him of anything. She opened to comfort him but she was interrupted by the soun
