(Listen to THIS while you read it)

"I'm sorry Jessica.. I'm so sorry I-I didn't save you in time. It's all my fault your here. It should be me down there not you. I miss you and I don't know how I'll live without you. I-I love you." Kris said as he knelt down on her grave. He cried his poor heart out. Jessica was the love of his life and future wife and now she's gone.

"Hyung let's go. It's raining and your gonna get sick." Sehun said as he patted Kris' back.

"NO! Im not leaving her!" Kris retorted.

"Hyung your gonnna get sick." 

"I'd rather get sick than to leave Sica."

"I understand hyung, we miss her too. And it's not your fault that happened. You know she will be watching over you. And you know she still loves you." Sehun said.

"Please. Give me 10 more minutes. I want to say goodbye."

"ok hyung." With that said Sehun walked back to the car leaving Kris holding Jessica's favorite flowers.

"Remember our first kiss? Yeah I do too.. Remember when I proposed and you said yes. It seemed like just yesterday I was holding you in my arms and planting kisses on your cheek. I brought you Ace, I know how much you loved him." Kris said as he reminiced the memories of their time together.

"Hyung we have to go now... The dorms close soon." Kai yelled from the car.

"*sniffle* OK coming.... Bye sica... I'll miss you. I'll forever love you." With that said Kris got up and walked to the car.

-3 weeks ago-

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSICA!!!"

"OMO! Thank you all!! You guys shouldn't have!" 

"OK! Guys pack it all up!" Kris teased.

"NO NO!!! Aish YOU!!" Jessica said as she playfuuly punched Kris on his chest.

"Yah! You know I would never do that to you Sica! I love you too much.." Kris said as he rubbed where he got hit.

"I love you more!"

"No~ I love you more!"

"Ah ah ah! I love you mo~~~re!!"

"Ha! Whatever I love you waaaayyy mooooooo-"

"Sorry for interrupting but we kind of have a party going on" Luhan said as he broke up the Love fight..

"Oh no its ok Luhan-ah!" 

"anyways.... I have a present for you! But you have to close your eyes! Its a surprise and I don't want it ruined." Kris said.

"Ok hon." 

"Wait here and NO peeking" Kris said with seriousness.

"I promise."

Kris left her in the living room to go get her present. He frantically ran to his room and grabbed the little velvet box that held her engagement ring. He took a deep breath before walking back out.

"OK I'm back!"

"It's about time... You left me here alone.." Jessica said and pouted.

" Sorry... Keep your eyes closed. And put your hands out." Kris instructed.

"Ok."

Kris decided to take this chance to give her a quick kiss before the big surprise.

"Is that my present?"

"Thats not it. I'm just warming you up before you start crying."

"Why would I start crying babe?"

After she said that Kris got on one knee and held out the small box.

"Open your eyes."

Jessica flutters her eyes open and looks down at her boyfriend. Now she knows why he said that. Tears started to well up in her eyes as she knows whats going to happen.

"In the 2 years of our relationship Jessica, My love for you grew bigger and bigger as those days went by. Yesterday I decided to make a commitment and be with you forever. Jessica Jung Soo Yeon will you marry me?"

".... YES!! YESS!!!!" Jessica screamed as he slid the ring on her finger. There was a bunch of cheers coming from their surrounding. 

"I ALWAYS KNEW YOU TWO WOULD GET MARRIED!!!!!!" Chen screamed. Everyone giggled at his comment and then soon continued on with the party.

"Happy Birthday Jess! I love you~" Kris cooed.

"Kamsahamnida Kris. I love you too" Jessica Replied. Then they shared a sweet kiss.

Kris didn't tell his parents about his relationship with Jessica, or that he was even going to marry her. His parents despised Jessica, mainly because she was the daughter of the owners of their rival company. Jessica's parents just wanted her to be happy. Then he felt that it was about time they knew. Kris didn't care whether they approved of it or not because either way he was going to marry Jessica. He didn't bring Jessica along with him because he was afraid that they might hurt her. Kris knocked on the door of his parents' house and waited. His umma answered the door and was very happy to see him.

"Kya! Kris-ah! How have you been!?" His umma yelled as she pulled him into a hug.

"Umma, I'm fine. I just came by to tell you guys something important." Kris chuckled.

"Come in! I can't wait to hear this." She said anxiously. His umma called her husband down to hear the new Kris had for them.

"Yes dear? Oh! Kris, its so nice to see you!" Kris' appa said.

"I have something to tell you guys. Something important. But you have to promise me you wont get mad or freak out." Kris said happily yet seriously.

"De. We promise." They said in unison.

"I-I'm getting married!" Kris screamed.

"OMO! WHOSE THE LUCKY GIRL!?" His umma said excitedly.

"J...Jessica Jung."  He said hesitantly. This was when his parent's smile faded into a disappointed frown. "Jessica Jung. The daughter of our enemy?!" His father said rather angrily. Kris looked away from his father, trying to avoid eye contact and said," De appa.." "WHAT?! WHY HER? YOU COULDVE DONE SO MUCH BETTER! Honey, you cannot marry that... that delinquent!" His umma outbursted. "She is not a delinquent umma! I dont care what you guys say, I'm marrying her whether you like it or not!" Kris said in defence of his fiance. "Kris you marry her, you will regret it." Kris' appa threatened. 

"What! What are you going to do that will make me regret marrying the one that I love?! huh?!" Kris argued.

"Just wait Kris. You know the consequences of disobeying us." His appa retorted.

"Whatever! You can't stop me. Nothing will prevent me from marrying her! Not even you!" 

"Don't be so sure Kris. You are not marrying her!" He said sternly.

"Oh just watch me." Kris said as he walked out the door slamming it shut. He will prove them wrong.

-the week everything bad happens-

Jessica had already been picking out her wedding dress with her umma and friend, Hyoyeon. She tried on over 14 dresses and still, she hasnt found the right one. It took them over 5 hours, and 32 dresses, until she found the right one. She bought that dress and they finally left to their home. Once they got home, Jessica went to her room and finally got some sleep after such hard work. Before Jessica fully fell asleep, she realized that she had forgot something at Kris's house while she slept over there with him, when his parents were gone. She got up from her bed and told her umma and appa she went to go get what she forgot. She left to his house and she sees Kris walking out the door. She parked outside the house and rushed to him. 

"KRIS! Come with me real quick! I forgot something in your room." Jessica stated as she grabbed Kris by his wrist and dragged him inside his house.

Before Kris could say anything about his parents to Jessica, they were already inside their home.

"Kris, did you change your mind about marryi- WHAT IS SHE DOING HERE!?" His father yelled.

Kris flinched and said," none of your business. She just forgot something in my room."

"I want her out of my house! NOW!"

Jessica couldn't believe what she was hearing. "What did I ever do to them to make them hate me so much?" She thought as she  looked for what she forgot in his room. While she was searching in Kris' room, she can hear Kris and his appa fighting. 

"Kris I told you if you don't leave her , you WILL regret it!" His appa yelled.

"What will you do to me huh?! You wouldnt hurt your own son!" Kris yelled back.

"You're right. I wouldnt hurt my own son. But I never said anything about her..." Then Kris's appa smiled an evil smile and he went to his room and grabbed his gun. 

"appa? What are you doing?.... APPA! DONT HURT HER! I SWEAR IF  Y-" He was cut off when his father punched him in his face.

"I told you Kris, if you dont leave her you will regret it." He said walking up to Kris's room where Jessica was.

Jessica finally found what she was looking for and when she was just about to walk out she bumped into Kris's appa, gun in hand, with a menacing look on his face. "oh mianhae." Jessica apologized as she looked down. As she was about to walk out of the room, she was stopped by his appa. Gun pointed to her heart. "W-wha?" Jessica was scared to death. Kris looked up and sees what his appa was doing. "APPA DONT!!!" Kris screamed in horror, but it was too late. He pulled the trigger and Jessica fell to the ground, lifeless. Kris got up from the ground and ran to her. "Kris, I told you to leave her. And I told you that you WILL regret it." his appa stated. Kris held her in his arms, sobbing into the crook of her neck. Kris got up and looked straight into his appa's eyes.

"H-how could you appa.. WHY!? COULDNT YOU HAVE JUST BEEN HAPPY FOR ME!?" Kris yelled as he punched him in the face.

"You should've seen this coming son. I gave you a warning." He replied.

"Appa.. I never want to see you again. Leave me now. Leave me alone with Sica." Kris said sternly yet sadly.

"You can't tell me what to do. I will stay if i wa-" He said but was cut off by an uppercut to the jaw by his son.

"LEAVE ME!" Kris yelled.

"Fine. She deserved it Kris. I just did you a favor." he said then left with his wife. After they left the house Kris called 911 and his friends and her parents. They rushed to the house and everyone started sobbing seeing the scene. The ambulace came with the police. Kris wouldnt let go of Jessica until his closest friend, Sehun, told him that the police wanted to ask him some questions. Kris let go of her and went to one of the officers. While he was asking questions the coroner put Jessica in a body bag. While they were walking by her family and friends everyone cried harder. Before the coroner zipped up the bag, Kris gave her one last kiss before saying goodbye.

The police waited for his father to come home before arresting him for murder.

-At her Funeral-

People left Jessica bouquets of flowers and stuffed animals. Kris gave a small speech about his life with Jessica, which brought everyone to tears. Before they buried Jessica, Kris slipped her engagement ring on her finger. He said his goodbyes and left. He knows that Jessica is in a better place and knows she'll always be with him.
