f(x) members stood in front of their manager as he handed out their last sheet of music named Lollipop. It was a song they were going to sing with their Sunbae’s, SHINee.

“Listen to the tune of this song carefully understand? I’ve sent it to your email Victoria.” Their manager said, directing the last part of his sentence to the oldest of f(x). She smiled brightly and nodded.

“Ne!” The girls laughed and then when their manager left, they went to their Vic-umma who had already opened up the file.

The tune began to play out.

When they heard the beginning though, they couldn’t help laughing at the funny voices!

‘What you going to play now?’
‘Wasn’t ever playin’!’
‘It’s gotta be funky!’
‘1, 2,3’
‘Make it!’

‘Make it!’

“Who sang this?!” Sulli said while wiping a tear off the corner of her eye.

“I don’t know but it definitely wasn’t me!” Luna replied and they just ended up laughing all over again.

“Shall we try singing the song?” Krystal suggested after all the laughing was over and done with and they were in their professional singing mood.

“Without SHINee?” Amber asked, surprised. This song wasn’t going to work without their voices.

“We can imitate?” Victoria suggested.

Luna wrinkled her nose. She got up from her crouching position by the short table in their living room, took out her phone and began to dial a  number,

“Who are you calling eonni?” Sulli asked.

“Onew oppa.”

SHINee met up with f(x) at the recording studio. It was rare for all 5 of SHINee to be together. They always had something on that either made them missing one person or two.

“So, you guys got the lyrics yes?” Luna asked. SHINee nodded.

“We’ve heard the song too!” Jonghyun replied, waving his copy of the lyrics around.

“The beginning was funny!” Taemin commented. Krystal nodded enthusiastically.

“Noona, what do you think of the song?” Onew asked Victoria.

Victoria smiled brightly and replied,

“AWESOME!” f(x) and SHINee burst out in laughter. Victoria pouted.

“Let’s see what we can do shall we?” Key said after.

Sulli nodded in agreement.

“We should stand in order.” Amber suggested and Minho nodded in agreement.

They moved around in the studio. Victoria gestured to the recorder that was sitting behind the glass. The recorder gave her an okay sign and began the song.

SHINee and f(x) blocked out the beginning of the song and concentrated just on the tune that was behind it, making the whole music flow.

“Woah,” Minho said. f(x) nodded in totally agreement as the song/tune came to an end. Suddenly, the studio was filled with a loud clapping sound. f(x) and SHINee turned around in unison to see who was clapping and saw f(x)’s manager.

“That was perfect!” He said.

“Wanbyokae!” He repeated.

“Oppa…did you…record that?!” Sulli said, scared.

“Kureummyeon!” He said without hesitating. f(x) and SHINee looked at each other.

“Well, I guess that was easier than expected right? I thought we would be in here for a few hours!” Onew said, making everyone laugh.

f(x) listened to their whole album as their CD was spinning into their Beats labeled stereo.

When the beginning of Lollipop came on, Amber hurriedly called SHINee.

“We’re listening to Lollipop right now!”

“Oppa?” She said to the phone. She looked at her members. The used their asked to asked what’s wrong and Kyrstal used her hands and shoulders to say I don’t know.

“Sorry, what was that?” Taemin said into the phone. Krystal breathed a faint sigh of relief and reasked her message.

“Oppa, where are you in the song right now?”

“We’re just about to be getting into the last repeat of the chorus!”

f(x)’s First full album, Pinocchio has received fantastic responses from not only their fans but also SHINee’s fans with their collaboration of the song Lollipop that had a great beat that makes you want to dance to it.

f(x) sure did not disappoint the fans that have awaited their long return from the beginning of the rumor as to Amber, their lead rapper, leaving the group to Victoria “marrying” Nichkhun of 2PM. This new album shows their cuteness, their professionalism and most of all, their powerful vocals accompanied by once again, another strong dance.

Not only has their title song, Danger, received great responses with their comeback on first Inkigayo followed by Music Back, but their song, Lollipop, previously mentioned, received equal responses even though they have not had the intention of promoting that song.

“I really want f(x) and SHINee to stand on stage together! That would be great!” One fan commented.

Let’s await the long collaboration of f(x) and SHINee on stage!
