As the weeks dragged on Suho and Kai began to suspect whom the 'pure heart' was.

One night they were deciding whether they both thought the same thing or not.

"I think..." Kai began "No, I KNOW that MinJi is the one."

"Are you absoulutely sure about this Kai? Is she the one pure heart or the only one for your heart?"

Suho had hit the nail on the head.

Kai had fallen for their earthly hostess.

He knew it too.

"Hyung, you know she'd never love an alien like me." he sighed.

"You wouldn't know that, and I think you're right, it has to be her."

Kai looked up at the older male.

"You really think so too?"

Suho nodded.

"She did open up her home to complete strangers, she helps the needy with no compensation."

"So...are we going to bring her back with us."

"I suppose so."

They knocked on MinJi's door. 

"So, what you're saying is, you think this 'pure heart' is me?!" she asked in disbelief.

They nodded.

"Now we're going to present you to the Elders to make the final decision." Suho replied.

She nodded hesitantly.

Kai held his hand out to her, which she took.

"Close your eyes," he said gently

She did, and Kai teleported the three of them back to EXOPlanet.

Oonce they arrived Suho, MinJi and Kai were sent straight to the High Elder.

Both Kai and Suho bowed MinJi followed suit.

"We have brought the pure heart." Suho said.

The Elder examined MinJi for a few seconds.

"No my sons, you are wrong."

"What?!" Kai cried

"This is not the pure heart."

"How can you tell you don't know anything about her!"

Suho put his arm in front of Kai to stop him from trying to harm the Elder.

Kai stopped struggling as the old man studied him now.

A sudden spark held in the elder's eyes.

"You love her don't you, Kai?"

How did he know?! Kai thought.

At the expression on his face the elder smirked.

"Your feelings for the girl have clouded your judgement. It is not she."

The sage looked back at MinJi "Child, do you think yourself to be the one?"

"I-I'm not sure..."

He frowned.

"Kai, for your misjudgement, and for bringing a human to our world, I sentence you to death."

"WHAT?!" Suho and MinJi cried in unison.

"Sir, please you must re-consider, don't kill him because of me!" MinJi pleaded.

Suddenly the Elder took at sword that was concelaled in his robe,

and went to plunge it into Kai's heart.

"No!" MinJi shouted.

There was a sickening sound as the blade entered MinJi's body.

Kai and Suho's eyes widened.

The Elder wrenched his sword from her ribs.

Blood soaked MinJi's body. Her knees buckled, Kai caught her before she could fall.

"Are you insane!" Kai screamed.

The old man burst into sickening laughter.
