Why am I mad, I don't get it.

It seems like every time you give me signs,

"Thanks for driving me home, hyung"

"No problem, Kyuhyun-ah"

Standing in front of Kyuhyun's doorstep, Siwon ruffled the younger’s hair, leading to a deep blush to decorate the latter's face.

They first met as work colleagues but their relationship never exceeded that until they realized they have common friends who happened to be dating, which made them encounter each other often for the last three months.

Like tonight, since Hyukjae had to take care of a drunken Donghae, the gentleman Siwon offered to drive Kyuhyun home.

Kyuhyun was grateful to Siwon, although he hoped he would’ve been driven home after a date with him, and not just out of courtesy because he didn’t want him to take a cab. Well, a man can wish, right?

So as they stood in front of Kyuhyun’s house for several seconds just staring at each other, Siwon was quite taken by the beautiful blushful face of his colleague slash the friend of his best friend’s boyfriend, while Kyuhyun was having some trouble with his pumping heart.

"I'll see you at work tomorrow?"

It took Kyuhyun a couple of seconds to get over his disappointment, but he knew he couldn't do anything about it. He hung his head low for a second, trying to calm his feelings so his words wouldn't sound as sad as his heart was right then.

"Okay. Thanks again"

He smiled at Siwon and regretted it right after since the older smiled back and the famous dimples that always managed to torture him, showed up. Kyuhyun entwined his hands together, stopping his fingers from acting out and reaching to poke them.

I did it again

I admit it.

I left you standing there,

And now I regret it.

A couple of days later, Kyuhyun was trying to get some fresh air on their building's rooftop when Siwon stepped inside as well.

"Oh, sorry. I didn't know you're here"

Siwon turned to exit the roof but Kyuhyun stopped him.

"It's okay. It’s a public roof" He tried to ignore the butterflies dancing in his stomach and just put a smile on his face.

Siwon approached him and stood beside him next to the edge. They both looked at the blue gloomy sky and didn't really talk for a few minutes.

Suddenly, Kyuhyun could feel something warm on his back, and when he turned his face to see what was it, Siwon was draping his jacket over his shoulders.

"It's cold" Siwon simply said before turning his attention to the streets below them.

Well Kyuhyun was only wearing a shirt and it was windy outside. However, the warmth radiating from Siwon's body was enough to not make him feel cold.

"Thanks" He muttered, not taking his eyes off of Siwon. He stared at him with tender orbs while his hands tightly clenched on the jacket that was full of Siwon's scent.

Not until a couple of minutes later that Siwon felt two blazing eyes on him and turned to the side, only to be welcomed by an indescribable look on Kyuhyun's face that left him narrowing his eyes, trying to figure out what that grimace meant.

They once again stood silent, just staring at each other, then unconsciously, Kyuhyun bit on the corner of his bottom lip which only made Siwon the more confused.

Seems like every time

Siwon knew that he was supposed to do something but he didn’t quite know what exactly. His heart was urging him to do or to say something and not just stare at the dazzling boy in front of him, maybe a touch or anything, but he was so lost in Kyuhyun's eyes that his tongue was tied and his mind stopped working.

Kyuhyun sadly smiled before averting his gaze back to the street. It wasn’t the first time he implied his feelings to Siwon. There were a lot of moments where his face was practically begging for the older to make a move but nothing ever happened. He had already given Siwon too many chances to help him see if he felt anything for him, but apparently Siwon didn't.

They stayed in that position for another couple of minutes, with Kyuhyun still sadly smiling while looking at nothing in particular, while Siwon was still staring at the younger with frowning eyebrows and a dumbfounded look.

Kyuhyun then turned around and started walking away. His eyes were watery and his face confronted pain. However, he wouldn't let Siwon see him like that. He'd rather go cry somewhere else than putting Siwon in such an awkward situation.

When Siwon finally realized what just happened, he was already left alone on the roof. When he turned around to look at the entrance, he only found his jacket hanging on the doorknob.

Unfortunately, a week had passed and Siwon hadn’t met Kyuhyun again. The younger took a leave from work just after the roof incident, and so Siwon was quite lost in wondering if he was somewhat the reason behind it.

It's strange, but even though they worked together for a year and only had a small cubical separating them, Siwon had never really noticed Kyuhyun's work place until it was empty. He always stopped by his desk to ask for a report or ask him to fix something for him, knowing how Kyuhyun was good at electronics, but he never actually really paid attention to him.

He never noticed the picture frame next to his computer showing a dark empty street which he didn't quite understand what was special about it, nor did he ever notice how there was a mini figure of some alien lying on top of some work sheets.

Those details suddenly felt enchanting that Siwon wanted to ask Kyuhyun about it. He realized that during the last year they worked together, plus the three months they started to hang out with their friends, he had never really noticed Kyuhyun.

Now that it felt like he was gone, he found himself actually missing him.

No I did not,

A million reasons why I should have,

And it makes no sense.

Siwon's POV:
I knew something was up the minute I saw you smiling while chatting with Donghae the first time we hanged out together, but I just never could put a finger on it. You were just a colleague at first, but then your mysterious character got to me. I don't know when it happened but along the way, I started drawing to you day after day. I just blocked that weird feeling in my heart because I didn't know what it actually meant.

Apparently, I'm stupid to never realize it before… But you never actually told me anything either!

So here I am,

By myself again.

Stopping for green lights, and Now I know,

I wanna be more than friends.

> Siwon-ah, where are you? <

"Just got off work. Why?"

> Meet me at Shappire Blue Café? <

"Hyuk... I'm really tired. I'll just go home tonight"

> Are you okay? Your voice sounds weird <

Who are you talking to baby?

Siwon... he's not feeling well.

Siwon hyung?

"Is Kyuhyun there?"

> Yeah. Donghae forcedly dragged him out of the house <

"..."

> Siwon? Still there? <

"Yeah... I'm actually near there. So maybe I'll stop by for a few minutes"

> Great! See ya! <

"Is h-he coming?"

Kyuhyun nervously asked after Hyukjae hung up the phone. It had been two weeks since he last saw Siwon and he didn't expect seeing him that night. The reason he took a leave was to stay away and figure out how to let go of his feelings for him. It was very obvious that the older didn't return his feelings and so he couldn't just stay in a one sided love any longer. He already gave him a lot of signals but since Siwon never responded to any of them, it meant he didn't feel anything for him.

How come every time I get the chance

I lose my cool and I blow it.

And I get all tongue tied,

Just as Siwon stepped into the cafe, his eyes roamed the place looking for that special someone he missed so much. He didn't know what he was going to say or if he really wanted to say anything at all. However, as his eyes caught the skinny figure sipping on his hot cocoa, his expression softened and all he wanted was to be near him.

"Siwon-ah, over here"

Kyuhyun tensed the second his gaze met Siwon’s. His heart started beating fast and his hands started to sweat. He only wanted to run and hide. He never knew that his feelings were that strong since he used to see him every day. At that moment, he realized that his efforts were in vain because he still wanted to kiss Siwon more than anything.

"Hey"

"Hey"

That was all they said to each other during the whole night. Well, more like the first fifteen minutes since Siwon dashed out of the café soon after.

Hyukjae and Donghae were startled to see Siwon abruptly standing up and excusing himself. He didn't even glance at Kyuhyun as he bowed and disappeared out of the door.

He left Kyuhyun on the verge of tears, broken hearted for the harsh treatment he just got. His hands turned into fists and it took him a lot of strength to put a fake smile on his face and chat with his friends like nothing happened.

He hadn't seen the guy for two weeks and so it hurt to see that Siwon didn't even care to ask what was wrong or why he disappeared. He looked out from the window from time to time, in hopes Siwon would come back and explain what just happened, but an hour passed and nothing happened.

…

After an hour of only standing on the beach, Siwon started thinking what happened to him. Seeing Kyuhyun for the first time after admitting that he was feeling something for him was overwhelming that all he could do was run. His hand clenched on his chest and his eyes were blurry with anger mixed with confusion.

However, one thing for sure... Kyuhyun's image was stuck on his mind and for the first time he found himself wanting to kiss him. Yes, he wanted to hug the boy, cup his cheeks and capture his lips.

So I turned the car around,

And you were right where I left you

And your smile said you were feeling me too

That was how, not really minding the several honks, he turned his car around and drove back to the café, hoping Kyuhyun would still be there.

Twenty minutes later, he was dashing inside and yet again, worriedly, letting his eyes wander on the table they were sitting on earlier. His heart sank when he found it empty. He ran his fingers through his hair in frustration, but as he caught on the so familiar fluffy brown hair peeking from behind the mini couch. His feet started moving fast until he was standing in front of him.

He sighed in relief and smiled widely when he caught on Kyuhyun still sitting there. He took a seat across from him, the smile never leaving his face. The younger on the other hand, was confused as hell, but still there was a wide smile on his face as well.

How could Kyuhyun smile? Well, there was something in Siwon's orbs that Kyuhyun had been dying to see what it looked like and he did. It was different from how he used to look at him and Kyuhyun knew right away that his feelings may just be returned after all.

I finally got it right.

"Since when?" was what Siwon chose to start their conversation with, and as much as the question was vague, Kyuhyun understood him.

"First day" He simply replied, leading to a shocked expression to paint Siwon's face.

"That long? I never knew" Siwon was feeling kind of guilty that Kyuhyun had been hiding these feelings inside for over a year now.

"It's okay. You now know" Kyuhyun said with an assured smile.

"I do know" Then he stood up and walked to sit beside Kyuhyun, eyes not leaving each other.

His hand found Kyuhyun's and they immediately entwined, sending a shiver through both of their spines as the touch felt magical.

"I'm sorry"

"You shouldn't be"

Kyuhyun's free hand rose to caress Siwon's cheek. He happily smiled when the older closed his eyes and leaned into the touch.

"But you should be if you don't kiss me right now!" Kyuhyun's next words made Siwon snap his eyes open and stare in disbelief at him. The younger was flushing heavily but you can't blame him since he had been waiting forever to be kissed by Siwon.

"Blunt, aren't we?" Siwon mocked, wanting to tease the younger some more even though he wanted nothing more but to kiss Kyuhyun as well.

"Don't blame me... It's been over a year" Kyuhyun pouted and that was all it took for Siwon to lean down and wash it away with his lips.

Kyuhyun's eyes instantly fluttered close and he let himself drown in Siwon's taste that he had been longing for ever since he laid eyes on him.

The kiss was gentle and full of emotions. They started with their lips slowly nibbling on each other and just savoring the moment. Then Kyuhyun's tongue on Siwon's bottom lip asking for entrance which the latter immediately granted. However, Siwon was eager to taste the unknown cavern, that he soon chased Kyuhyun's tongue and let his own roam the younger's mouth instead. Kyuhyun didn't seem to mind at all. His hand that was caressing Siwon's cheek moved to his nape, drawing him closer and deepening the kiss even more.

The kiss was everything he had expected and more, and he knew he was doomed the second they pulled away and a whine escaped his mouth.

"I should've kissed you sooner" Siwon exclaimed between his heavy breaths, and Kyuhyun grinned at him.

"That, you should've" Siwon playfully pinched the bridge of Kyuhyun's nose before pecking his lips one more time.

I'll be leaving with you tonight.

And I won't have to say...

A Month Later

“Kyu”

“Hm?”

“That picture on your desk… What is it for?”

Siwon once asked when they were enjoying their break on their building’s rooftop. Kyuhyun circled his arm around Siwon’s waist and rested his head on his boyfriend’s shoulder, before answering.

“Remember the first time we hanged out outside work?”

Siwon thought for a second, his hand that was draped over Kyuhyun’s back, was rubbing his arm up and down.

“hmm… yes. We went to that Chinese restaurant that Donghae insisted on going to”

“It was on that street”

“So?” Siwon was confused about the explanation. He slightly pulled away to look at Kyuhyun’s face and the latter smiled at the deep frown on his face.

“That day was like a celebration to me. I finally could’ve meet you without a cubical on my way”

When Siwon could finally understand what Kyuhyun meant, a smile pricked his lips and he pressed a kiss on his boyfriend’s temple before pulling him back to rest on his shoulder. He then exclaimed…

“I never thought I could be thankful to Hyukjae for being gay”

Kyuhyun only laughed because he was thankful for Donghae as well since he was the reason he made some progress with Siwon. If it wasn’t for those two dating, Kyuhyun would’ve probably still be Siwon’s not-so-talkative colleague. Who knows when he would’ve gotten the chance to even strike a normal conversation with him.

Before he could take a sip from his cup, Siwon landed a kiss on his forehead, then his nose, then finally rested his lips on the younger’s, engaging them in a passionate kiss that they seemed to do a lot ever since they got together.

When it comes to you… I will never say I should’ve again.
