When the wrapping was opened I paused. And I stared. "Socks?" I asked incredulously, picking up the soft bundle. "You got me... socks?" I knew it was wrong of me to be so selfish and greedy, but I had spent a lot of money buying him that bracelet and all he got me was a pair of woolen socks. "Uhm... thank you?"
A smirk twitched in the corner of his mouth when he leaned closer to whisper: "Look again."
